Anyone out there squonking their NETs? Ordered a Reo Grand and a couple of Catfish Addy RDAs last night and thinking of trying it out. Hoping the always-wet coils combined with occasional unflavored dripping will get me through the day without constant rewicking.

I recently got a REO and I have been using NETs with it since. Like you said, keeping the coil wet is essential. I cut all my tobaccos with unflavored so my wicks last at least 3ml. There is definitely less flavor when diluting with unflavored but I have gotten used to it. NETs are the only flavors I enjoy and I would rather not rewick every hour so I have been searching for a gunk solution.

A question for all: What extract or liquid would you recommend for the least amount of gunk? I am not very particular when it comes to flavor.

Edit: Did a little searching and I'm going to try HHV. I can't figure out how to delete a post with the new format

I would say MVJ is pretty clean when it comes to coil life.

Black Note Prelude is the least gunky NET I've tried to date. Pricey, but pretty clean. But I'm hooked on Naturally Extracted tobacco, LLC's liquids right now, so I just deal with gunk as best I can.

I received my first N-E-T order about a week ago - it was in transit for three weeks, so I suppose that's about a month of steeping. Most of the liquids I want to let steep a bit more before really forming an opinion, but I am head-over-heels in love with Black Cavendish and am tearing through it at a frightful pace. My only point of comparison is a vague memory of EV Eclipse, which I did quite enjoy, but which I remember as more one-dimensional (and perhaps even a bit cloying when fresh). To my tastebuds at least Black Cavendish is beautifully balanced. So question to the experts: is it going to get even better - i.e., should I exercise exceptional restraint and leave some to develop further?

Definitely MyVapeJuice for straight up NET that's slow to gunk. Especially since you don't mind a lighter flavor. HHV is pretty clean, just keep in mind they lean more towards dessert tobaccos. Ahlusion has great tobaccos that don't gunk. They're not NET but taste close to it.

A few thoughts on Black Note before I get to a review. First, the packaging is first class. Each bottle comes in a cardboard tube wrapped in a liner which has the company's story on it. Very nice, kinda similar to Five Pawns (think that is what they are going for).

Secondly, I received five 30 mil bottles which came at zero nic. When I tried it out of the mail, they all had a similar base like taste to it. I think it was the vg or pg. So I let them breath a couple times by taking the cap off for a few mins a day and then shaking the heck out of it once I put the cap back on (would have been a mess if I shook it with cap off, had to learn that the hard way once...doh). Within a week that base taste went away so I tried them again before adding nic and then after (nude nicotine was added to make it around 6 mg nic). Because I added the nic, I have no idea on how the throat hit would be if the nic was added by them so I wont comment on that. Now on to a review.

The first up for review is Sonata. The description on their web site states:

Originating in the 17th century, Cavendish uses a unique process of cutting and curing designed to bring out the natural sweetness of the tobacco leaf. Sonata uses only fire-cured dark Virginia tobacco, steamed and cured under pressure to allow the rich, robust flavors to fully develop.

The device used: Origen RDA (clone) with a 1.1 ohm 26g spaced vertical build at 15 watts (registers at 4 volts) on my IStick 50 with KGD cotton. I played around with the wattage to get where it produced the best taste for me YMMV.

My impressions of this juice: The Cavendish is there, but is not overly sweet. Instead, it has more of the darker type of notes that are similar to other fire cured blends I have tried. There is a smokey quality to it on the inhale with a slight spice on the exhale. I also taste the Virginia at the end of the exhale which is where the sweetness really comes into play. It also has a nice smoke-like room note; not overpowering, just enough to know I was vaping it.

Gunk Factor: It's pretty clean burning juice. Can't really say how many mils I get before dryburning is necessary cause I don't measure each time I drip. However, it seems I get a couple hours more before dryburning is necessary.

I went into this one thinking it wouldn't work for me as I am not into straight Cavendish blends and I seen others say the taste was light. After vaping it a while, that was not my experience. I ended up enjoying it as it is not overly sweet and I really enjoyed the smokiness it provides. Plus, the Virginia at the end is pretty tasty. Finally, the gunk factor being pretty good is a plus. Over all, I thought it was a good fire cured blend, not so much on the Cavendish side though as the smokiness and Virginia kind of over took that aspect of it.

Hey guys. I'm back!

A couple of weeks ago I got my much anticipated order from The Plume Room. I was gifted Candied Cavendish and Burley and Candy a few years ago by a friend and loved both of those liquids. As things had panned out I had not put in an order with The Plume Room until now. I guess with all the new vendors that were coming out, I was over ordering and increased my inventory of liquids to untenable proportions.

I am not disappointed, far from it. Candied Cavendish and Burley and Candy are exactly as I remember them. Over time, some vendors have changed their recipes, often for the worst and I've had many disappointments over the years with vendors who released liquids which were phenomenally good only to change something in their process which left future batches a far cry from the spectacular predecessor of those liquids.

This is not the case with TPR liquids. They are of the same quality and flavor profile as they were a few years ago.

The flavors are true and rich. The Dutch Cocoa, a NET, really does taste like dutch cocoa. It is a full rich taste and true to the name, it's a Dutch cocoa, not just a cocoa or a chocolate. The same applies to the banana pudding (non NET). It is perhaps one of my favorites. The banana is rich and satisfying. It doesn't taste synthetic or sickly sweet. It is a rich ripe banana with a dessert profile to it. The banana pudding was recommended to me by someone at Gourmet E-liquids. Troop added the banana pudding after my order was complete and didn't charge me for it.

Amongst the NETs I ordered it is hard to choose a favorite. The Candied Cavendish is a tried and tested flavor which has survived the test of time. It is a set classic amongst dessert NETs. The honey fig and burley and candy are also amazing. They all harbour the same dessert NET profile.

The new Toscani doesn't disappoint either. It is an interest one in a line of liquids which have an underlying desserty, sweet base. Cigars and cigarillos are rarely ever sweet, containing nuanced sweetness in the form of nutmeg, some Earthy woodiness and leatheriness. The Toscani doesn't mince words and it presents itself as a full rich cigar encased in the underlying sweet base profile of the TPR line of liquids. The Toscani is rich in flavor, typical of the TPR line. The cigar presence is unmistakable with flavors of leather, cigar leaf, maybe a hint of cinnamon in there, some Earthiness, all encased in that trademark unique dessert profile of TPR, making this a complex and decadent vape.

I even like the Cafe De Lait despite not really being a lover of coffee Vapes. It is a creamy coffee flavour.

Given the price point of The Plume Room liquids, the consistency of the liquids standing the test of time, prompt shipping and excellent customer service, I consider them to be one of the very best vendors out there.

woohoo, I finally got in to this thread. I joined this forum for THIS thread.

I am a noob to vaping, but I recently got samplers from N.E.T.com and goodejuice. I'd love input from you guys on my findings!

So far I have only tried all in an ego 3.7 volt battery with stock clearomizer 2.2 ohm, and then an aspire ET running at 1.8

I have an istick 50W and kanger subtank and just popped the 1.2 ohm atomizer in and am about to try some on that.

Goodejuice: godfather, wild turkey: both tasted similar, with godfather tasting stronger. Both tasted like id imagine a good green-leafed wrapped cigar would taste. Very nice.

All except for one from N.E.T. has been very disappointing so far, with Gold giving nice but underwhelming flavor. The rest have been almost tasteless. That included big spirit, cognac infused, chris's blend, tea, 3 crown.

I guess I should maybe chalk it up to the device I used?

Any input would be great!

After trying the N.E.T.com juices in the istick/subtank 1.2 ohm coil at around 18 watts (with testing between 15-20 watts) and unfortunately it was still just not there. Very little flavor, great vape production. using the 70/30 (pg/vg) mix, so it may not be great for this tank.

But again, I am new...Clay at NET is awesome with support and many people love their stuff. So I will chalk it up to my setups, lack of knowledge and/or not letting them steep.

Tasting multiple NETs on a single replaceable coil head in a subtank is going to be an iffy proposition. All of these juices tend to gunk up the coil and wick, masking the flavors of the next juice. If you are comfortable with the process, try building a fresh coil/wick on the RBA for the subtank and dry burn/rewick for each juice you sample. You will get a much cleaner impression of the flavor profile of each juice. Big Spirit is far from flavorless. And Clay has an amazing array of cigar and pipe vapes.

Howdy Beachbum, welcome to the thread. The first few months I was vaping NET's was between 3.7-4 volts on my MVP; a lot of 1.8-2.5 evod coils were used as well. There was no problem tasting the juice. Plus, many of the people who have been on this thread much longer than me started with that type of set up as well (just going from what I read in the previous thread). I'm guessing it is not the equipment.

My experiences with Big Spirit was it took over a month for it to start to come together. It was about a month in a half for BS to have any flavor, before that, it was bland like unflavored. Once it aged a bit, it became a wonderful liquid which was full of flavor (it even got better the more it aged). Chris's Blend was a little light until about a month but was able to detect something before that time; was just weak.

Their cigar's are a different story. Most of them take about 3 months before they come of age. I never had Cognac Infused but hear it is similar to Bourbon Infused which tasted like nothing for a good 2 months and became a flavor bomb at the three month mark. It was the same for 3-crown for me; disappointed out of the mail but pleasantly surprised after the 3 month mark.

So guess I'm saying I wouldn't give up on them yet. It is just the nature of the beast with some NET's. Put them aside and taste a little once a week. You should see some improvement in the near future.

It's really subjective on steep times as there are liquids people enjoy right out of the mail where others like them with some age. There are also some juices that don't seem to take as long to age. I would say Quick Nic, GoodeJuice, EtherVapes, and River Bottom Fog Sauce are some that do not require long steep times. Also, MyVapeJuice has a pre steeped line called steeped to perfection where she ages them before selling.
