Almost got a sample with my last order, but (gasp!) I actually ordered a non-NET for the first time in close to a year. Decided to try Boba Tea. Next time it's gonna be JG.
Boba Tea is all kinds of awesome, hope you like it.

For me JG Blend has no equal for a coffee-bacco NET.
Just getting back from a trip to Vapor Craft where I met with Brian of River Bottom Fog Sauce. We spent a few hours testing his liquids under different builds/devices while talking natural tobaccos. I had a great time but, man, I think I need to lower my nic! LOL
Wow that's awesome! Anything stand out for you? Any notable discoveries using different devices?
Yeah, well, I will be moving into RBAs to get the most out of NETs. Poet & Scholar was incredible with a helluva room note! Porch Rocker is an extremely well balanced blend of Virginia, Burley, Latakia and Perique, but it didn't grab me the way Poet & Scholar did. Interestingly, though PR didn't grab me, I kept going back to it more and more.
I tried everything today from a Nautilus dual coil on a Vamo to a Chi You and a Doc Dave Steam Turbine (dual coil/mesh) and various others. While I can't say that there are a ton of differences in actual flavor from lower ohms (not sub) to standard, or silica to mesh, reg to mech, the truth was that for straight-up NETs like RBFS, I can't see how there could be better method of vaping those type of liquids than on a rebuildable of some type. No more straight-up NETs will ever touch my standard attys.
Oh yeah, Brian gave me a cheap little RBA, braided kanthal and some silica to work out some builds before I take the plunge.
Note: No matter the device (within reason), I am thinking a good build is a good build and I am not totally convinced yet as to what differences you actually get (in terms of flavor) with the astronomical variances in prices form cheap to knock-off to high-end boutique devices. Not convinced yet.
Mann's finally going to rebuildables!!! How long we been telling you to do it brother?
Size of the chamber, orientation of coil to airstream, and wicking all affect vape quality way more than price of the atty. My three most used RDAs are an IGO S, Cyclone, and Reomizer 2. All have small chambers, single microcoils, tiny cotton wicks, and relatively small price tags. Glad to help you with building any time J.

Thanks, I will need it (ask Jerms. LOL). Before today I had once owned a DID, Ebaron Dripper Pro, Z-atty-Pro, Phoenix and a few cheap things I am not even sure had a name, but I didn't spend enough time trying different builds. That's my take-away -- worry more about the build in the device than the device itself (at least initially). Today I tired several devices, but all the builds were really nice -- that seemed to be the difference maker, not the device.
To begin with, I am going to take it slowly and try to get the best dern flavor-centric builds I can from an IGO-S or the like.
Agree 100%. We can get you vaping like a sir in no time! With the coil gizmo and the 1.5 mm rod you'll be making perfect coils in no time. I think the coil making and installing will be fine for you. The IGO-S is a much simpler device than the ones you mentioned. The trick may be getting the wicking right, which just takes a little practice. Such a small amount of cotton is needed, much less than people think.
No need to experiment with different builds unless you really want to. The experimentation has been done and the jury is in, micro coil with cotton is IT.

I was hoping St. Jame's grabbed ya. That one's a star for me, possible NETty votes. Yeah, that P&S is something else isn't it? I was prepared to really dislike it because it's honey cigar, but man that's just an awesome extraction. I'll crack into Porch Rocker tonight. I'm an easy sell with English blends so I'm sure I'll like it.
As far as rebuildables using my same build in different ones the biggest factor is the size of the chamber when it comes to flavor for me. I don't care how expensive or well made something is, if it has a large chamber I just won't care for it as much as my affordable IGO-S, A6, and Cyclone clone. Small chamber, micro coil with cotton, simple one airhole to aim at one coil. Simple and perfect for me.

I forgot to mention I just got a sample of Captain Ron from Indigo that I really like (it's coconut/tobacco). The Oorah is alright too.
Thanks for the suggestions! I have 4 (a tea and some fruits) from Ahlusion that I got a month and a half ago that are 100%VG and I can barely taste them-I messaged Ahlusion but they haven't said anything and that was a couple of weeks ago. Everyone raves so much about them I guess if you get a 50/50 blend it has more flavor. I'm kind of disappointed in their customer service right now.
I think a fruit tobacco would be great, especially a blackberry, or maybe a peach, or of course coconut! Or something with a nutty flavor and fruit.
It's fun trying new English pipe blend NETs because while they all have a similar feel, there's subtle differences to pick out that keeps new ones interesting. Porch Rocker from RBFS contains Burley, Virginia, Latakia, Flake, and Perique, and is a worthy addition to the amazing line-up of available English Blends such as Apache, Devil Dog, London, Balkan, and others.
I'm getting less Latakia than those, which may make it more accessible to some. While it lacks the big KICK of Devil Dog and Apache, it's still more noticable than some Latakia blends like Southern Gentleman and Sultan's Blend. The less smokiness is made up for by a strong Perique presence, which adds a woodsy and slightly funky flavor. Like other multi-leaf blends, there's complexity that really makes me want to think over what I'm tasting. Very nice flavor, but those looking for a big smoky kick may want to wait for the Latakia that River Bottom plans to release soon.
Jerms, well, Jerms. You should've tried it with normal flavor. I tried it both ways and couldn't discern which was which. They are fine though considering when they hit the scene (a looooong time ago).
