It's a solid, potent NET that doesn't change much over time. It's known as "Old Dependable" :)

I think it is solid, yet slightly overrated. It was on My NETTY ballot though. Actually, I have been horny for it all week. Let me explain with excerpts from my review last August:

I don't love it...I don't think. I might get horny for it now and again. I have a very love/like thing with Patriot. I have elsewhere (or was it here?) referred to it as that psycho trashy ex girlfriend. I go hot and heavy with the stuff until it burns me out and I just cant stand to be with it for another second. Then a few weeks or so after the breakup I forget what a psycho hosebeast it was and I miss her. Then I long for...then I gotta have her. Hot and heavy week of makeup vape and it is...ridiculously incredible. Then I feel dirty. Ashamed. Why oh why did I do that again. It was never THAT good, was it? Then I panic...I need it again, what the F??? I tear my house apart looking for her phone number. Rinse and repeat.

Patriot. I dig it. How it stacks up with Paris and Big Spirit and other analog contenders I do not know, but to me it read more like a high end cig than a pipe. I know I am not as enamored of it as some others are, but yes, I like it in spite of myself. I don't know if I love it, but it is good for a wicked nasty fling now and again. That is not a rip...it is more than I can say for a lot of juices out there.

I was looking at the acadian gold when i order the patriot i knew i should of gotten it aswell but i hesitated. I do agree the patriot is very cigar like, I like it but the cigar like flavor in a mild bump for me was never a fan of cigars.

I think I will order arcadian gold next, I would try the ANALOG but you said it is a little sweet which I dont want. I just want straight tobacco like im smoking a analog to get rid of this urge I keep having (Been 11 days so far)

No e-liquid approximates the taste of a burning cigarette. However, Sahara Blend from Ahlusion gets in the ballpark by blasting your throat with a hot, powdery dry wash of Turkish flavor. And Dark Horse by HHV has a smoked cigarette feel too.

Ahem
You missed House of Liquid's Brasileiro :D

Every list I post misses something. I haven't had all the NET or Coffee juices available in the marketplace, so each list I compile is limited to my personal knowledge---direct or vicarious---which is always incomplete. My lists also suffer from a certain arbitrariness, having to do with my human frailties of mood and memory. I still do them, though. Something in my temperament enjoys the experience, flawed though it must be.

Patriot, as others have mentioned... is generally really well received. For me, the one juice I've had so far that just tasted like an analog ciggy ( minus the burning of course )... is Big Spirit from N-E-T.com ( ie naturally-extracted-tobacco.com ). They are currently a couple of weeks on getting an order out of the door.. but well worth the weight.

In most cases, but not all by any means.... when one of the regulars here say something is "sweet" they usually aren't talking about a sugar sweetness as much as the natural one you get in certain actual tobacco's. Exceptions to this are some of the ones using cased tobacco's like a cavendish that are often found in pipe tobaccos.... and even then most tend to more of a natural type of sweetness instead of a sugary one.

So when someone mentioned that Analog from GeJ is sweeter... they mean it has a bit of a natural sweetness.

1) Has anyone tried ORGANIC Spirit or Speaking Spirit? I am almost out of my Big Spirt (Extra Extract) and am trying to decide on what I get next along with the NS Dark

2) Agreed on "sweet" with analog juices. Virginias in particular, I think, in ciggie blends are naturally a bit "sweet." What i get from analog and Big Spirit is a slight sweet finish...it replaces that burnt, ashtray thing you get when the tobacco is burnt with cigarettes. So with those juices I get a a slight sweetness instead of a burnt flavor, and it is quite fine as a true representation of what a tobacco blend should taste like before adding chemicals and burning it. It also is richer and more natural as it is a better quality of the tobaccos and not the stems and shavings and clipping that make their way into common cigarette vendor's blends.

I haven't had Organic Spirit yet but I do have a sample size on order... Speaking Spirit, I've only had it in spirit so to speak since it's Big Spirit with some Perique added to it which I've mixed up some of on my own.

Clay hadn't come out with any of the other ciggy types when I had ordered last... he had just come out with the single varietals at that point ( which I got one of each of ).

For me... Perique is one of those that take me to be in the mood for but when I am, nothing else cuts it in the same way. What I've been doing a lot of is mixing in just a bit of Air Cured Burley to Big Spirit just to give it a slightly darker more robust flavor but without really altering it a lot.

The Acadian gold is delicious, smooth yet bold. It will remind you of a fine cigarette tobacco, but better.

It's also aptly named; the liquid is a beautiful gold color and is surprisingly clean burning for a NET.

Admittedly, I still clean and dry burn every couple of days because I want to taste that super-fresh taste in all its clarity.

Patriot may be rubbing you the wrong way because of one of the adjunct tobaccos- hard to say which, some of us have a love/hate relationship with perique, others dislike the 'bite' of burley and prefer the smoother virginias.

All of that being said, Acadian Gold replaced everything else as my ADV NET. I can't say exactly what I love about it so much, but I found it delicious on first vape and couldn't put it down after that.

My previous rotation consisted of Perique and Vita Bella- I will definitely re-ordering another 30ml of Vita Bella (yes, it's vanilla-y, but in a 'black n mild vanilla aftertaste' kinda way, not the 'this definitely tastes like straight vanilla extract' kind of way) which uses a toasted burley in conjunction with an organic vanilla bean cased tobacco, if I am not mistaken.

Love the VB, love how it smells in the air as well. I'd eat it if I could.

OT: I'm back. :)

Personally, I've never liked Patriot. Not the old version, not the new version, and not one bit. Maybe I should compile a list of juices I hated. No wait, that list would be too huge to even consider posting. LOL.

Bill, I was a bit surprised that you didn't include JG Blend on that list. Have you tried it?

Yes, I'm down to the last dregs of a 10ml bottle of JG Blend purchased a year ago.

And yes, I'm well aware that JG Blend is quite popular here on the thread, and I agree that it's good. Thing is, I have numerous tobacco-coffee blends made from my own home-brewed NETs and homemade coffee extracts, and I like some of mine better than JG Blend.

My Fave Coffee list was really about straight coffee juices and flavorings. MOV Americano made the list only because the coffee component in that juice is primary and so yummy (in my opinion). The synthetic tobacco in Americano enhances the coffee but doesn't stand out.

In contrast, MOV Sunday Morning and A+ JG Blend strike me more as NET hybrids that are primarily tobaccos with a bit of coffee added. If I were to come up with a list of Best Tobacco-Coffee blends, Americano, JG Blend, and Sunday Morning would all be on it, along with about four of my own homemade NET/Coffee hybrids.

The problem with that, unfortunately, is the same as my NETty Award ballot. Any "Best of" list that includes juices unavailable to most vapers is, well, sort of silly. It's just that I'm steadily leaving the fold of vapers who spend their hard-earned money on retail juices. Half the juices I vape these days are straight DIY or Frankenjuiced, so my vaping experience is more and more idiosyncratic and isolated as time goes by.

Were it not for the "street cred" I enjoy on ECF, I wouldn't even have Americano, since Steve at MOV sent it to me gratis. I just got an amazing package of River Bottom Fog Sauce NETs---30ml bottles of all five---from Brian through VapingWatch, at no charge (thanks, Jerms, for the referral!). Where vaping is concerned, I am one lucky guy to know vendors and colleagues who are so generous.

List????...:lol:, you mean The Really Big List Of Juices I hated Roundup (long) ;)

Add; Bill I liked your Coffee list, the one I liked most on your list was Campfire Coffee, not on your list; Virgin Vapor Dark Turkish Roasted Coffee.

Brobdingnagian I'd have to agree, Acadian Gold is probably my Favorite by GEJ, it's a simple straight-forward juice I don't tire of, closely followed by Vita Bella... of course.

I loved perique years ago when i use to roll my own cigs. I want to give arcadian gold a try, do you know what the pg vg is?

All of GeJ's House Brewed NETs are 50/50.

Yeah, that one. My juice database---which lists every bottle of juice or flavoring I've ever purchased or been given---includes 240 juices/flavorings to which I gave a personal grade of D or F. At the other end of the scale are the 99 juices/flavorings that got an A or A- in my opinion.

VV Dark Turkish Roasted Coffee wasn't on the list because I haven't had it. I'm sure many delicious coffee vapes that I haven't had are available in the marketplace, as well as many that are so-so, and some pretty dreadful ones, too.

Out of about 120 retail coffee liquids or flavorings that are (or were) in my stash, 100 of them didn't make the cut.

There's 15 NETty voters so far and none of them are named Jefsview, rdsok, Mann, Dusty, vjc, Rpad, Evil Speakers, johni.. I'll stop there (for now ;) ).

What do you all have against democracy and freedom? Do you hate America (or Canada)? Rock the Vote!

I talked to the voter harassment council, and they said this excuse IS acceptable. Something about being able to later ask "how's that KFL working?" while linking to this post. My guess is that excuses that can later provide further harassment is fine.
