Ok, damn the torpedoes. I am going to throw it out there.

I am considering this on topic, as I truly want the opinion of La Cosa NETstra on this. Plus, nobody knows my tastes better than you freaks.

What is the best French toast or waffle juice out there for an NET junkie? Also, how about root beer or Sasparilla?

Best Waffle that I've come across is from TastyVapor.us. Not only are their regular waffle offerings amazing, but if you go into their Customize Your Own options, you can literally create your own Waffle juice by selecting different nic and flavour options. Here's a sample:

I think it was very similar when fresh.

Yes, similar but steeped it doesn't have as much of that "green" taste of TA.

Dusty_D, I have wanted to try TV's NET for a while but never got around to it. Have you had it? What's it like? Maybe Bill has? Wlad recommends TV on the Ahl site BTW -- not sure of another liquid vendor that recommends other liquid vendors.

Oh yeah, HHV has customizable waffles like that too. Hell, they let you add extra, erm, butter.

I've been a big fan of TV's Tobacco for awhile. Although I don't hit it every day, it has found its way into my rotation at least once a week. While a touch sweet, it is a no-nonsense NET with pretty big tobacco presence. I'm not sure what to compare it to. Although I haven't had GeJ's Analog in awhile, I remember it being sort of similar.

If Wlad recommends it, that's saying something, coming from a heavy-hitter competitor vendor like him. Even though it's TV's only NET (aside from the menthol version of it), they certainly got it right. I also like TV's Earl Grey for a no-nonsense tea vape.

Thanks. I will have to try it since it's been around for so long and sadly not mentioned a lot, or at all. They are rated as a C-Tier but I don't know exactly why. Maybe it's too simple and straight-forward? Dunno, but I shall.

TV was my go to vendor before my NET journey began. Infact, I probably would not have been vaping NETs if TV had not changed/dropped my ADV/EDV of almost 2.5 years. There was a change in one of their flavours, and it never sat right with me once the version changed. It was around that time that I discovered HHV and NETs in general.

I ordered the TV Tobacco once back in the day almost 3 years or so ago, and immediately went BLECH!! which means it was probably awesome.. I had a similar reaction to fresh out of the bottle Patriot too when I first tried it.

I was completely clueless about NETs and how they needed to steeped or used and ended up giving away the bottle.

MM, I did not know about HHV and their waffles because I hardly if ever have even looked at their non-NETs. :)

I tried HHV's Heavenly Waffles (Build Your Own) for the first time on my last order. I ordered it with Blueberries and Whipped Cream. As with their NETs, this one needed a bit of steep time; FOOB the butter component was in-your-face-forward and obscured most everything else. After 2 weeks, the actual waffle and other flavors presented themselves and it's nice.

Heavenly Waffles isn't as heavy or rich as their Blueberry Muffin (which is too realistic ;) ), but it's easy to vape for longer periods of time. All Waffle and French Toast liquids I've seen (NLV, QuickNic, etc) have butter and maple syrup components; getting used to the butter aspect is the hardest part of liking the waffles. It reminded me of the first TA I tried from Velvet Cloud... it's just strange at first :)

HHV's Heavenly Waffles will be different for everyone, since their are so many options to make the liquids unique (pecans? chocolate?), so YMMV.

Probably because they're a one-trick pony. They should branch out and try more NETs.

Maybe. But Nicoticket is a B-Tier for a TA/NET liquid and they only have one (or they did at the time they were put there). I guess there is tobacco in that liquid, but I can't tell.

In the case of TV though, I guess if you've got but one trick, do it well!

Yeah, I try to stay away from "butter," but when one has "extra butter," that's really when I give the facepalm. But, I know EXACTLY what you're talking about with the comparison to TA. I think that's why I can't handle those kinda butter flavorings -- they just feel so oily! Not a good mouth-feel to me. But what a great comparison! Maybe I could get used to it like I did with TA, but I don't see myself trying. Then again, I never thought Jiggz would rock my word and become an ADV for me. Did I just type that?

I guess taste is subjective. I've liked some offerings from a few vendors on the C-Tier.

Yeah, it's more based (I think) on popular perception of the line-up (or liquid). From my experience I don't agree with all the rankings, but I totally agree with the reasoning for why they received them -- if that makes sense?

I think everyone ought to practice their DIY too. This is just me talking, but I think that once the FDA sinks their teeth into this, commercial NETs will be among the earliest victims of regulation. Like raw milk and unpasteurized cider, it's just too natural for these safety-obsessed rulemakers.

Aargh. Oy vey! NUTZ!!!

I agree with your hunch -- but a lifetime without Caramel Wild Wood is just too, too depressing to contemplate!:grr::facepalm::evil::cry:

Exactly. In real life, I wouldn't order whipped cream on my waffles -- just lots of butter. But for a vape, I don't want butter ;) So I ordered the whipped cream hoping to balance it out a bit.

I second BWB Root Beer, and BWB Cola as well. Both are terrific. I haven't had Ahlusion Sasparilla, so can't comment on that. I trust that it's good, though. Mann wouldn't steer us wrong on that.

For a long time A+ Sassy was the only non-NET in my daily rotation. That stuff is outstanding. It is, IMHO, a reverse steeper and after 5 or 6 months went flat on me.

I will definitely try BWB Root Beer! A good excuse to try a couple other things over there that have long been on the back burner.

I never pulled the trigger on that one. I considered it way back when (2012?), but Tasty Vapor Tobacco seemed to be a one-trick-pony; TV was hardly what we'd call a tobacco eliquid vendor. I felt safer with Want2Vape or VapeRite, since they had an obvious commitment to a full line of NETs. Also, the reviews/reactions/sentiment about Tasty Vapor's lone macerated Tobacco eliquid on ECF were all over the map, from loved it to hated it. Since the lean of posts at that time seemed more toward the negative, I never purchased any, but maybe I missed out on something good.

I respectfully disagree with your take on this. [emoji4]

I feel that if the aromatics were selling the way you perceived them to be, they surely would not have been pulled from the online menu. Like Mr. Mann (almost) said, "if it don't make dollars, it don't make (business) sense."

I feel like a small subset of vapers enjoyed them and loved them hard, hence the outcry from a few in this thread. I'm not naive enough to believe that only the posters in this thread loved them, but I just don't believe it is as big a number as you may think.

A+ (yes, I will give them a plus cuz they're my favorite vendor and all, lol) has a tendency to consider their customers' feedback, so who knows, they may return online in the future if requested enough. OR they could return reformulated, based, again, upon customer feedback, like that Maple House Blend you referenced in your post. By the way, I really enjoy that juice. [emoji1]

Anyhow, I don't feel slighted by the decision, but I understand how some are feeling. If the Wild Woods and the Criminals were to be removed online, well......

I apologize if I came off a little bit angry. I think it mainly came down to me being upset over a whole line of tobaccos vanishing- I could understand if a few were dropped, but as you pointed out- there are alternatives.

Are you suggesting the possibility of a Vurley House Blend? :p

I might go for that. I liked the vanilla in the vurley, incredible room note; so much so that it battled Vita Bella for room note presence.

We may see a "Devil Dog of Destruction" down the line, but I would suppose all of the actual ranting has been done in Ahlusion's thread.

...guess it would help if I got more sleep before trying to "put myself in the shoes of others".

You could say we've all gone through this, to some extent; loving one blend, finding a better one, then disliking or flat out hating some of the old ones. It can be a vicious cycle, but again; Wlad would not have made this decision if there had not been a significant reason for it.

Who knows what exactly that might be, but come the next holiday sale, I will be keeping my eyes peeled for anything else significantly notable from the Ahlusion website.

I was halfway between ordering VWW and Vurley when I did place my order, though. I probably should have gotten the VWW (or one of the house blends), just because of the sheer popularity of the WW line ensuring a regular supply.

...you guys really got me ready to fight for your right to vape Maple Burley and Vurley, though.

I thought the Tiers on the NET Guide would be self-explanatory, but maybe not.

The fact that a certain vendor is on the C-Tier doesn't mean that one shouldn't buy their NET(s). It does imply that natural tobacco eliquids are probably not a primary segment of that vendor's business model. It also means that there's not a lot of positive buzz or continuing discussion here on the thread about that vendor's NETs.
