Mike.is the Balkan dark in color? Clogger?

Not really it looks pretty light. It is darker than the cigar juices by a bit. It looks more amber than yellow or clear in the bottle.

As far as clogging, it doesn't seem to be so far. Diane's nets are my go to vaped on workdays. The main reason is because they are the least gunky of the traditionally soaked nets.

Deeper into the tank the Latakia is becoming more assertive. However it remains smooth and round with an up tick in smoky and floral. Still, I think it is a much more gentle vape that Ashton's Artisan Blend. If it were a cigar it would be a mild to medium.

Fran, most of MVJ's Gen.2 pipe and cigar tobaccos are really clean burning. Diane seems to have sacrificed some flavour in order to reach that elusive goal of having a clean burning NET, and she has.

Did you answer rdsok's question from last night about which MVJ NET's you've tried? Diane made an allowance for me a couple months ago, and shipped a batch of juices to Canada. Initial tests were good, but on the lighter side of the flavour spectrum. The juices are still in the steeping bin now, but I remember Dunhill Early Morning being one of the first English style pipes where I was able to vape for an extended period of time without overwhelming my taste buds.

She has since added a few more selections to the site, and I'm itching to order them, but I need to sample the batch that I've already received from her to see if there are any re-orders from there. I know that Dunhill Early Morning will definitely be one of them.

Have a nice Saturday! :)

I tried MVJ Net's quite awhile back. Must have picked the wrong ones cause they clogged badly.

Actually... Diane reformulated or reworked how they were filtering their NET e-juices.... Their original e-juices were pretty gunky... but they are much less now. NET's still gunk a coil quicker than many other types of e-juice... but the flavor is so much more natural tasting that many feel it's worthwhile

No, you didn't pick the wrong ones. The 1st-generation NETs from MVJ---My Hero, Savage, Rogue, Country Squire, and Wicked Wench---were all fairly serious gunkers (with flavor that was a little one-dimensional and blunt to my palate). Diane made a decision to go the other direction, probably through sophisticated filtering techniques, sacrificing some flavor intensity for much better performance. MVJ's 2nd-generation Cigar NETs are about the cleanest-performing macerated NETs I've ever vaped. They are extremely pale in color when mixed as juices, subtle in flavor, and take a very long time (relatively speaking) to crust coils and gunk wicks.

Personally, I prefer a little more flavor density and impact, but I'd still like to know what filtering method Diane uses to achieve such extraordinary clean performance. The subsequent pipe tobacco blend extracts/juices from MVJ are somewhat darker in color, bolder in flavor, but also a bit gunkier---which is to be expected from pipe tobaccos as opposed to cigars---but the "3rd-generation" pipe tobacco blend NETs are still much, much cleaner than MVJ's 1st-gen NETs.

I actually had a momentary bout of insanity---not a senior moment, but rather a JAS attack (Juice Acquisition Syndrome)---and considered buying 15ml bottles of Smugjuice NET-based RY4 and RY4 Extra to review for The Big RY4 Roundup thread, but my wallet remained sane and vetoed that plan.

So, instead, I whipped up a DIY NET-based RY4: Hearth&Home Burley Kake RY4. Took me a long time to master making good RY4s from scratch. I worked at that for more than a year of failures before the successes began to accrue, but by George I think I've done it! This one required all of three minutes to make, and it's both rich and deeeeeelicious. Here's the recipe:

7% H&H Burley Kake extract
5% Nature’s Flavors Caramel
5% Nature’s Flavors Caramel Cream
5% Nature’s Flavors Bavarian Cream

I made a bottle of 12mg, 50/50 PG/VG. Man, oh man, the slightly nutty bass notes of the Burley provide a wonderful anchor for the Nature's Flavors organic caramel and vanilla. It's terrific. By itself, the Burley Kake is good, if a bit tame, what with the dominance of the mid-range and bass, but it's perfect for RY4s. I think I'll try another bottle adding a bit of Perique for spice and Virginia for brightness, but it'll be hard to top this one.

I can't say that NET-based Custom RY4s have ruined me entirely for synthetic-tobacco-based Classic RY4s---they are, after all two very different kinds of creatures, and Classic RY4s are, well, classic---but natural tobacco RY4s have taken me down that road quite a ways, and this delightful Burley Kake RY4 is yet another vote toward winning me over to the NET-based Custom RY4 camp. The fact that I can make it myself is icing on the cake.

Thank you. Very good to know. My next order will be MVJ.

    All over the place
Really Strange to see so many New Vendors with all the FDA Regs scaring going on

Trying to decide do I make big orders before Aug 8th

or is it safe to order later

It's better to get int he game beforehand than after. Personally, I will deal with the regs if and when they come; until then I am a happy vaper. Hell, I'll be a happy after afterward!
