Been on a little bit of a cigar kick the last couple days. I really don't have much experience with cigar NET's as I only have two or three of them. However, this weekend I broke out DWiT from RBFS and took the advise from this thread and waited 3 months before breaking into my bottle of 3-Crown from NET.com. They are both rather enjoyable. DWiT has that high pitch screech of a hit on the first few draws. Think that comes from the "blonde" part cause I get the same kick from Gypsy Blonde from NET.com. After a few draws it becomes less pronounced, leaving me searching for it, but it mellows into something different but enjoyable nonetheless. I read a description of an acid blonde cigar and it stated it starts off sweet for the first 20 mins then becomes more robust for the finish. I think that is what I am getting out of this and if so, kudos to RBFS for imitating that experience.

On the other hand, 3-Crown has its own layers of goodness. I am in no way an expert on the different leafs and what to look for but this one has something special going on. It really tastes like a cigar smells. The kicker is, I only bought this one on a whim to try a cigar NET as cigars never really appealed to me. However, this one makes me want to order more cigar NET's to see how they are. It also makes me want to do some research on the different leafs and what to expect so I can make a more informed decision when ordering.

MVJ has released the CAO Brazilia and CAO Italia with more flavor. I would give both of these a strong nod. The Gurkha Legend 2001 has also been released with more flavor. The Gurkha is very similar to the analog version and has nice transitions when vaping. It has a healthy dose of peppery spice though. So, it may not be for everybody.

There are a million great cigars on the planet, or so it seems. Here is a good bit of information. You will have to enter a date to verify you are over 18. Tobacco Regions

One of my top 10 favorites along with Voo Doo Queen and Royal Cajun. Glad you like it.

Vaping Seattle Pipe Club Mississippi River, extracted by boomer, tonight. Mississippi River is a blend of red and stoved Virginias, Latakia, and Perique. The Virginias are the star of the show with Latakia and Perique playing a lesser roll. This blend provides a lovely sweetness with hints of fruit, is substantially milder than most English blends, and could easily be enjoyed all day. Boomer did a great extraction of an excellent, very popular blend and I highly recommend this extract for anyone that enjoys Virginias and/or English blends.

Organic Tobacco #1 by www.goodejuice.com

The Juice: Organic Tobacco #1 (O#1) is described on the site as "an all Natural Flavor made from authentic Organic Tobacco Leaves. It has a very subtle sweetness and a rich Tobacco flavor with nothing else in the way".

The Hardware: Mechanical mod topped by an Ehpro Atomic with 1ohm micro coil of 28ga Kanthal, wicked with CelluCotton rayon..

Ratings are from 1-5 depending on where a juice falls in an attributes spectrum. Only the last rating, "overall", is based on 5 being the best. (For sweetness 1 equals very dry and 5 equals very sweet. For tobacco impact 1 equals very mild tobacco and 5 equals very aggressive and/or complex.)

Sweetness: 3. O#1 has quite a noticeable sweetness that's striking, not on it's impact, but the flavor of the sweet. The layer of sweetness has a flavor wholly unique to this NET. It's a taste that has me scratching my head wondering "what ingredients were used to case this tobacco"? Vanilla? Chocolate? Anise? Clove? It's sort of chocolatey with a spun sugar vibe, but it's mainly indescribable for me. It's kind of a fun mystery. Some just won't click well with the flavor, and some like me will love it.

Tobacco Impact: 3.5. O#1 is a pipe blend consisting of flue cured Virginia, air cured Burley, and fire cured burley. It plays purely like a pipe tobacco for me, no cigarette or cigar vibe, though a uniquely blended pipe. It's a rich tobacco that's with a medium impact that's quite complex. It has darker bassy notes and some brighter grassy notes. What really brings it together is a smokey note from the fire cured leaves that mingles with the sweetness to provide a very pleasing experience.

Vapability: 5. Very easy to pick up, very easy to stick with. The overall flavor grabs me right away and the complexity keeps me interested.

Flavor Accuracy: 2. The description on the GoodeJuice site, and the name of this NET, doesn't really give much of an idea what to expect. Personally I don't really care, but I certainly would have went in a different direction for a name and description.

Overall: 4.5. GoodeJuice has some macerated NETs with a flavor that's original and unique while also being immediately pleasing, and this is one of them. Being unique can result in a wide range of opinions on a juice. Because of that, I consider Organic Tobacco #1 to be a must try for NET aficionados since you just may love it. Go small though, because you may also wonder what the hell I see in this lol. For me doesn't quite reach the magical heights of their Patriot and Vita Bella NETs, but it comes darn close.

I agree with the uniqueness of Organic #1. There is truly nothing else in the market that I know of that is anything like this. It is a safe juice to sample too, as while it may not be a reorder for some I have never met anyone who hated it. It is slightly sweet and pretty acessible by NET connoisseur and those new to tobacco extractions.

Me? Not my thing. Not an "authetic smoking experience," but then again who really wants that besides me anyways? That said, I did like it and I respect it a great deal.

The more I thought about this, like them or not, you have to applaud Goodejuice doing it their way, and carefully offering up juices that have no comparison in the retail market. O#1, Vita Bella, Patriot, Acadian Gold, and at the time of its launch even Natural Perique...these juices are well thought out and all stand alone in classes unto themselves. Quite an accomplishment.

My love hate with patriot continues. I vaped the beejeebus out of 2/3 of a bottle in like 3 weeks...then just gave the rest away. Last time? Well, I said that the last time. Vita Bella currently is my only reorder, but with all the DIY juice and new vandors out there that really says something.

For my money I would take 3 Crowns over near any retail cigar on the the market. It just IS a cigar. Probably #2 on my list after Want 2 Vape - Managua. I haven;t tried the amped up offerings from MVJ yet, however. That said, nothing has really touched Bill Herbst and johnni cigar extractions. Good lord they are good.

Netcom's Bourbon Seasoned is really outstanding too. The Boss? For me it was disappointing. I am not sure why. It is solid, I would just never reach for it when I had 3 Crowns sitting around.

Well you certainly started at the top on your quest dude. Johni's extraction of Meerschaum Patriot is about as good as it gets in this category.

Sounds like NETCOM's Smoked Leaf is something that might be pretty damn good too.

I may have to do an "authentic smoking experience" list soon.

Well said BJ. I think a big reason GeJ has a few such unique blends is he's not just extracting commercially available, brand named pipe blend. Instead, from what I understand, he works closely with a tobacconist to create wholly unique blends with a specific goal in mind. I'm sure a ridiculous amount of experimentation was involved in the creations too.

I have though seen some strong negative opinions of O#1. Scarfy infamously, and hilariously, compared it to Pine-O-Kleen and I remember someone also, but I forget who, referred to the flavor as sugar water.

Funny you should mention Gurkha and Brazilia, they were two of the three I had on a list to order. The other was Ramon Bueso. However, will go with the two mentioned as they were on the more flavor list. I plan on ordering some time this month along with a bunch of pipe selections as well. Thanks for the advise and the link; will make good use of it to gain a little bit of knowledge on the subject.

Me too, except that I never got the love part of the love-hate see-saw with Patriot. Neither Old nor New Patriot, and I tried both. Actually, I don't hate either of the Patriot versions; I just don't like them enough to vape.

I also agree about Vita Bella. Now that I'm stocked with relatively fresh 30ml bottles of VB and Caramel Wildwood, I won't need to order any retail NETs for at least a year. Yeah, I still have considerably more than 100 bottles of retail NETs, many of which are 2-3 years old, but they're mostly 18-24mg nic. Since I now vape only 12mg nic or less, all those are relegated to the NET Retirement Home, where they're gradually succumbing to Juice Alzheimer's.

Heck, with two liters of homemade natural tobacco extracts (from my own macerations and those of my home extractor comrades), I may never again order another retail NET juice. The only reason I keep reading this thread is that I have so many friends here. Oh, I still come up with an occasional thought that might add something to the discussion, but my infrequent posts these days are usually just to say "me, too," which is mainly what this one is.

Your review on the site was the deciding factor of why I went with 3-Crown over the others. Figured if a cigar aficionado like you thought it was top notch, it is something I wanted to try. I say that as I come to trust the opinions of the people here cause y'all know more about this stuff than I do. Sure glad I thought that way cause it is that good. Will probably try the Bourbon Seasoned on my next order along with many of the other new custom blends; tried four of them and not disappointed with any.

I am vaping the Boss right now; received it as a sample on my first order from them and have not touched it till now. It has a room note of a cigar (a little ruberish) but does not seem to have the cigar punch of 3-Crown. That said, I'm almost done with the entire sample so it was not bad.

As they say, in the parlance of our times, "I feel you dog"

I am slowly PIFing and selling off the bulk of my remaining retail juices, save a select few. Namely Vita Bella, Caramel Wild Wood, Smooth Criminal, and Uncle BJ's Blackberry Burley
Have you ordered Smooth Crim recently? Word is it's been reformulated, to the joy of some and dismay of others.

My last order was when it was up on xpress a month or 2 ago ... so I don;t think I have tried.

I will you tell right now sight unseen, or unvaped, or whatever, that I am extremely apprehensive

Any reasoning given for the ::crimiuny shudder:: new formula?

No idea, maybe to replace the natural tobacco flavoring? I've read it tastes more like steeped SC when fresh. I'll be picking up a bottle of the reformulation some day.

I'm more looking forward to trying Neutral, which despite the name seems like a love it or hate juice to people on the Ahl thread. Those that don't like it complain of an ashy taste, which is a sign I may really like it.

I am so behind on Ahlusion news. I still dont know what "Sweet Virginia" is either. I better pop over there and check some stuff out. I am out of W&A Sassy anyways, so time for a small order.

I have had Vecchio recommended to me by an NET DIY guy I trust implicitly. There is a juice that is almost NEVER discussed here. I seem to remember a lukewarm response to it maybe 2 years ago. Any thoughts from the peanut gallery?

My thought, from quite a while ago, was.. I wish this was Vurley. I'm sure the recipe has changed since then, may be worth a sample sized try.
