Nice to hear you're doing well. :)

I recently started using rebuildables. Lucky for me, the guys at the HHV Hardware thread eased me through the process. I have a KFL+ and Kayfun Mini, and like them better than my Magma. As a result of using these RBA's, now I'm starting to like VG much more than before. I'm actually vaping some 70% VG juice right now, and really enjoying it more than 70%PG, which seems too harsh for me on these devices.

Anyway, there's a 30% sale going on at Alien Visions right now, and I'm thinking of trying them out again. Do you like any of their tobacco flavors? I've only had BB and GJ, and want to try something sweet.
Hombre, do yourself a favor and pick up the AGA T5. In my opinion it kicks the Kayfun Lite's hiney. Less gurgly, less leak-prone (I actually feel safe about taking this out of the house  ) and I like the two-tone SS/brass look. One thing though: it includes a hex-screw fill port under the top cap, so you can allegedly fill it right-side up. To which I reply,
HAHAHAHAHA nice one Youde, y'all really had me going there for a moment *cleans hands drenched in e-liquid*
Seriously though, that's just asking for a juice bath, you gotta fill upside-down with a pipette or syringe like any other Kayfun-type. Also, it doesn't come with a drip tip.
From AVE I still use BB and GJ, I stock up once a year in Feb when I'm in the USA. I did like one of their tobaccos that they sent me a sample of, but I can't remember which. Sorry :(
Hey Scarfy :) Seems I had a hardware talk recently with a pretty lady who looks an awful lot like you ;)

Dude, don't you ever check your instant messages?

Hasn't been much talk about HoL's Cellar line. You'll have to give us the scoop on them.

I've never been a big boozy-juice fan, so I'm super surprised at how much I'm liking Chivalry. Puros Dark... I'll wait to give a final verdict until I get a Magma, because I'm not convinced that the Patriot is giving me an accurate reading of the flavor. Or maybe it is, and the AUS version is bogus compared to the Euro version.

Speaking of HoL/Ebaron, remember Brasileiro, my favorite coffee NET which I voted for in the NETtys? It has turned into a beast. It kills coils flat in a few mls. I've vaped Vaperite, W2V, and other famously cruddy NETS and I've never experienced the kind of damage that this .... has caused.I even tried diluting it to 60% unflavored and 40% doubler and it still wrecks my clearos and coils. I can't bear to let this one go, I love it so much, but it's just too dangerous.

Oh, and I'm about to order what appears to be a native NET: Artistry Extracts. There are 3 "pure steeped tobaccos" (including, allegedly, a Perique blend) in their Lounge range plus a coffeebacco and an amarettobacco in the Puro range. Also going to try their Blueberry Cheesecake juice, 'cause that's just how I roll. :)

The site that sells them also sells the one El Toro I haven't yet tried, Perique. Which reminds me, I've got a bottle of their Papillon Organic Tobacco which seemed kind of miso-soup-y when I tried it a year ago, time to dig it out again.

Continuing with the El Toro Cellars:

Reserve: Described thusly by the website:
Liquid smoke! Serious tobacco vape for those searching for the best. Steeped for 30 days in our pure Guevara Tobacco blend and matured for another 30 days inside an original oak barrel used for decades for storing Metaxa brandy. The result is a dark and strong cigar taste with the most authentic wooden undertones and amazing brandy aftertaste.
A celebration of ancient production methods and pure natural ingredients at it's best.

Guevara is supposedly "Havana Prime leaf with Nicaraguan Aged Seco". I remember it as a good if not terribly exciting NET without the strong, high-keyed, almost acidic bite I associate with this brand. Any benefits from brandy-barrel-aging are infinitesimally small. Reserve might be a good starter or "gateway" NET if you want to introduce someone to the wonders of this type of juice, but I doubt anyone from this thread who is used to vaping the more macho, in-your-face NETs would find anything remarkable about it.

That's what it isn't. What *is* it? Very smooth, faintly grassy/woodsy, light-to-medium body, not sweet at all. If it didn't say cigar in the description I would have guessed Virginia or a Virginia/Burley blend. It certainly doesn't bring to mind a cigar to me, nor does it have the killer throat hit one would expect. I cranked the power up to 12 and then 15 watts, and even at 15 when I would have expected some personality to emerge (even just YOU'RE BURNING ME! TURN THE HEAT DOWN ) it remained resolutely genteel.

As it happens, I still have a little two-year-old vintage Guevara on hand, so I dripped a little to compare. Not. Even. Close. By comparison to Reserve, Guevara is a tarry, smoky flavor bomb.

Up next: a little coil grooming with a disposable mascara wand, a fresh wick, and... Minotaur.

OK, just to get this thread moving I just wanted to say that a really good after dinner vape is Sutliff's private stock Westminster. It is what I call a mild medium vape that contains some Turkish, Virginia, and Latakia. tobacco extracts. As usual now, it's 100% VG
So if you are looking to relax with something good, check out MVJ's site. I might add there is a sale going on now, 15% off.
To all the thread, have an enjoyable safe Thanksgiving!!! :toast:

Vaping MVJ's Ashton Rainy Day (again, it's that good) while smoking a turkey and soon to be watching my Bears embarrass themselves on national television. However, can't decide what will be the post meal vape though. I might go with either LaPerla Habana Black Cigar from MVJ (even at under a month, this stuff was awesome on the origen last night) or Petner's Pipe from RBFS. Decisions, decisions.

Well, in any event, in the immortal words of my favorite turkey (Gobbles from Southpark): Gobble, Gobble...Or in English, Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Yo boyz 'n girlz :toast:

Sitting here with 1-week-old bottles of the El Toro Cellar line: Reserve, Chivalry, Minotaur and Puros Dark. Brand new 1.8 coil and clean cotton wick on my Patriot clone.

Which to try first, which to try, which to try...

Anyone got a favorite?

Chivalry hits all the right notes for me. Reserve is a strong second.

ETA: I thumbnail-reviewed HoL liquids back somewhere in part one of this thread. Seeds a long time ago now - may take some digging to find it...and found!

Part one here
Part two here

I'm finishing up some four month old MVJ Dunhill Early Morning. This stuff has turned into a true gentleman's vape. It is smooth and smoky with a healthy sweet mature Virginia base and Oriental floral sweetness singing harmonies in the back ground. A great way to relax after spending a twelve hour shift on my feet. I'm even more impressed with this flavor now than I was before. This is a must vape for fans of English blends that want something light but hardy. This is perfect for went you want an English but don't want something as thick and strong as Meat Pie or Oriental forward as Balkan.

Those are my feelings as well about the Dunhill Early Morning. Same quality of goodness and depth as the Dunhill Nightcap but opposite. Light vs. Dark.

Is it the Orientals that give it the sharp bite? That was very appealing.

Thanks for the review!
