You speak like a man of great maturity, composure and with a great deal of diplomacy, more like someone of 54. Great job Jerms.

I am 43 going onto 23. I am an emotionally immature, passionate youthful zealot, that for whatever reason, refuses to grow up.

:) Thanks man. My choice was grow up or die; changing my outlook, reactions, and attitudes. If it wasn't for such a strong motivator I'd still be the angry, fearful jerk that comes more natural to me. :D I still have my ridiculous moments, but try to keep that off a public forum.

Sadly, I'm experiencing the last drops of RTE's English (Virginia). It's been a joy each time vaping it. May get it again one day, if they have a big sale.

They look absolutely delicious, dessert??

Happy Birthday to the girl!

I'm closing in on 61 (hey! the Roger Maris'number!)

I'll be 56 in March, :offtopic: Hack Wilson's 68 year National League Home Run Record set in 1930, along with 191 RBIs, which still stands to this day...

Just wait 'til we get you in the Death Star. Bwahahaha.

My profile pic is me too, I'm really a tobacco leaf. Why do you think I follow this thread so closely? It's to keep an eye on you villains, staying one step ahead. I know you're after me, with plans to "extract" my precious bodily fluids.

As most of you know NETCOM has been running smooth for a while now, with shipping times I could of only dreamed about when he first started. Some of his flavors are still good and others are not the same. I feel the only consistent flavor is big spirit. I usually only order the cig blends, single leafs, and now some of his custom blends. NS dark and NS brown have a machine oil taste. Sun cured Turkish has a band aid taste to me. I tried the French cig blends and they were all very unappealing to me. Anyone else disappointed with blends they have enjoyed in the past?

NET's are only going to be as consistent as the product they are extracted from... Tobacco being a natural product will more often vary than not from season to season.... It's just like the fresh produce at your grocery store. Big Spirit, being extracted from a blended tobacco ( American Spirit ) will be less affected by these changes.

The machine oil taste is more than likely an issue with the atomizer than the e-liquid... always clean a new atomizer before use.

Trust me my attys are free of machine oil.

What I posted is still relevant even if they are not the cause of your issue... trust is earned, you haven't been here long enough for that although I do suspect you believe what you said completely...

I'll also mention that I could also conceive of an insulator being a possible cause of oily or plasticy flavors... In fact I know for certain when my protank heads got old, they developed a similar taste. Again, this may not be the case here... but it is a direction to consider still none the less.

Oh, another direction especially for this time of year when colds and flue etc is going around... our own sense of taste can also be a little off making what once taste a certain way... taste in another. I know I've experience this even with the very same bottle of juice that tasted fine before.

I'm not trying to bash clay. I've been buying his juice from the beginning. He even sent me a new bottle of NS dark no questions asked. I did feel it was better, but not as awesome as I remember. On a good note, the new red Virginia, the toasted white burly and his new oriental are very good.

You didn't sound as if you were bashing anything or anyone... I was providing other possible reasons for what you were experiencing that commonly cause that same sort of report but were not actually juice related or were juice related but out of anyones control so needed considered.

Perhaps you were one of the first to get part of the batch you have... all we can say for certain is that no one here has reported the same thing as of yet so it seems to make sense to look at other possible causes.

Saw that. Definitely a better deal. Good call.

Just arrived yesterday; would have updated you guys but it turned into a whole day of errand running...

...which proved to me that the iPV Mini 2 is a huge crapton of power in a small package.

Arrived with 2 Lemo Drop tanks, prewicked with cotton, which was different- dig the keychain double-sided phillips and flathead screwdriver they threw in.

It's a 1Ω coil and the cotton is obviously not keeping up (you could definitely tell it was more like organic cotton ball material than pad-form) but I was able to push 30 with little wicking issues, instantaneous firing with no pause, smooth and consistent heat/flavor.

I don't even know how well charged the VTC5's (they are legit, I just had to spend some time checking battery cap gap differences and such) I had sitting around were, so I just took one and popped it in the device (battery thread pushes battery in the rest of the way) and turned it on.

Be very mindful that it's going to display "common" wattages that are probably way higher than you're used to vaping at. I forget what mine was at when I turned it on, but it was at a number that I immediately tried to dial down- butchering the pre-set presets that had already been put in the system. (I could have just tapped the 'up' button to switch presets)

Plus, for me it's a bit different, I'm getting it figured out; I just need to hit the preset button to jump across 15;30;10;8;20 (there's 5 memory presets, but you can "lock" a wattage in place to save as one of those)

I do enjoy how the Lemo Drop doesn't leak all over the place; I didn't experience this with the MAPP Svoemaestro KFL clone- it leaked too much.

Off for now; helpin the folks shop for an e-cig. Catch ya later!

I got mine on Monday... the black version.

I've been vaping my various Subtanks on it and really enjoying them. For my hand, about a medium male size, it's the perfect size. My Vaporshark DNA 30 was a little small and the other box mod's I'd gotten were all way too big.... making this start sounding like a fairy tale we all know :D

The Subtank itself is a little large but it's not all that noticable. The Subtank Mini is a perfect fit and the Nano is a bit small at 18mm but it's actually the one I prefer. Bottom coil tanks are prone to leaking as their e-juices get low, smaller tanks don't exhibit that as much as the larger ones... hence my preference with the Nano. All of the Subtanks taste almost identical...

I got a Smok VCT ( Vapor Chaser Tank ) in today and after it finishes soaking in a watered down lemon juice bath ( for any possible machine oil or other residues )... I'll try it out next.

In case you don't already have a pair of batteries... get them if you plan on using higher outputs on this or any other single battery APV for that matter. At 23w-25w, I can almost go through a full battery ( or more than I care to use one up anyway ) within an 8 hr workday.

I agree that the some of Clays liquids do not taste the same/possibly as good as they had. I have to go along with Rdsok, that it could be a natural occurrence due to the tobacco growing conditions year to year. I have to add that Clay would be smart enough to "blend " some older stock with new to keep tastes closer. An oily taste, I think is probably not due to an atomizer, that has been in use for some time, suddenly becoming "oily." I'm pretty sure you keep up with maintenance.
