Where can I purchase the whole tobacco alkaloid in Canada?

I have no idea on the shipping to Canada portion but just as a FYI...

A NET ( naturally extracted tobacco ) is not the same thing as a WTA ( whole tobacco alkaloid ).

A NET is a tobacco extract ( typically macerated but there are other methods ) that is used to extract the flavor of the tobacco. It typically has no to just a trace of nicotine at the most by itself.

WTA is the extraction of the alkaloids themselves including nicotine and not the flavor. We've mentioned/discussed WTA's in this ( and older versions of ) this thread but that isn't what the topic is about. To extract WTA's is a complex and costly process so expect any juices or the extract itself to be pricey.

Here is a FAQ from one of the USA manufactorers for more info WTA FAQ ( you'll need to ask them if they ship to Canada or not, I have no idea )

NEVER throw out a NET, well, unless it is a year or more old. They can change, and your tastes can change....
My NETs seem to taste best after a few weeks to a month and at 6 months or longer tasting rather bland to a little yucky. That's stored at room temp in brown glass bottles.

That's a package not a box though, and convinces me to always get the two day box shipping which I do sometimes!

I hear ya, but I've seen boxes punched through just like this. Clay double-bubble wraps the bottles - I could almost have run this over with my pickup and not broken anything.

Let Clay know. Not only will he probably replace the liquid, he will be interested in preventing this from happening again!

Like the consummate businessman he is, Clay did replace it. And I ordered another bottle as well. 120 ml of Excalibur incoming.

Life is good. :smokie:

I know I've ordered many times from Clay, always well wrapped. Your package was seriously slammed or jammed by something.

So all the glow about St James Parish from RBFS in this thread piqued my interest so I picked up a 30ml a week or so back and I'm curious what's everyone's favorite steep time on this juice?

Probably going to test it here and there as it steeps but I was interested in seeing what everyone else's go to steep time was for it.

Others here have more experience with it than I but, I found with my first order that early on (maybe a month or so) it was like a sucker punch. With 7-8 months it's mellowed out. I can't decide which way I like more. I'd do as you're thinking, test it along the way and find the funk level you like.

I got some about a month ago from. Vaping.watch and it was good right out of the mail. According to the "information" tab on their website they ended their relationship with RBFS April 9th and are selling off their inventory so it's already aged in the bottle a while.

I found the only way to treat e-juice is to test it for yourself, right away, and then every 3 or 4 weeks until "you" like it, not when someone else does......

One of Clay's new blends that I'm giving a first taste after two months aging. Described as an English blend my taste buds are comparing to Dunhill's Nightcap and Early Morning. It doesn't have the elegant shadows of Nightcap but, leans more to the Early Morning with less of the bright airy-ness.

A little sweet and fruity (not hitting as an additive but inherent to the tobacco is how it strikes me) and mellow but, it doesn't seem ready yet. I'm not yet able to distinguish the tobaccos (maybe a blink of Perique?) I think it will develop and fill out with age becoming much better. It's pleasant but at the moment not a standout for me. Definitly worth a try if you're looking at it though.

(Gear: Vector RDA, dual coils @ 7.5 ohms, KGD wick, SX Mini M @ 31 watts)

Magaro, how long would you recommend seeping Excalibur before vaping? I just received my order from NET.com, and eager to try it, but don't want to waist that expensive gold stuff if its not ready, lol. I did open up a bottle of Starry Night, first time I tried it, and I like it a lot, a great unique flavor, a lighter liquid. A good chance it will make it into my rotation, its that good to me. :)

Personally, I did not get much from Excalibur until it hit the three month mark. Before that it was kinda light and weak to me. That being said, I would recommend dripping just a little to see if you like it. That's what I do with NET's, drip a little and see if I like it, if not put it away for a week or two or three and try again. What I find enjoyable might not be what you do and visa versa. Just gotta find what is enjoyable for you. I should say that the bottle I have now was born on 12/18/2014 and gets better every time I try it. I use it when in the mood for something special.

On another note, Starry Night is one of my favorites. I like it right out of the mail when the notes are all smushed (not sure that's a word, lol) together and are not distinguishable. On the first bottle I ordered of it, I let it steep a little and the fruit really came out to play. It was nice and I liked it that way. Unfortunately, every bottle I bought since has not made it past the month mark cause once I start on it, I can't put it down. Kinda like that brand of potato chips, cant have just one.

Thanks for the info I'll let Excalibur seep a week or two then try a little in a ce5+ I like to use for nets. Don't have a dripper that's one of the things I always think I need to get but never have lol. Oh yes, starry night was great right out of the mail wasn't it! I hope I can save some long enough to taste what you did after it seeped a while :p
Interesting that your older nets still are good, the ones I have from last dec and January seem to have lost flavor and rather bland not sure why, in brown glass and at room temp out of the sun.

I didn't have a RDA or even know how to build when I started using NET's. After a few months, broke down and bought a easy to build RDA (Tobh clone) and became pretty good at it after a while. I since moved to Origen clones and is all I use to vape NET's now. I only use tanks for the DIY stuff I've been trying lately as they don't gunk the coils, well not anything near what a NET does. Might be worth trying so you can try before filling a tank to cut down on waste.
