For all home NET extractors....

P&C is (for 24 hours) running 20% off site-wide using promo code "THANKS" at checkout.

Now it seems like there's the "best of both worlds" in sales running in regards to VW discount (though it's a kind of a bit sad to see RBFS leaving there at the same time) and the chance to stock up on tobacco for home extraction purposes.

Next time, P&C...next time...maybe my timing will be a little bit better.

Mine wallet dost hath no forgiveness.

Update on The Vapor Establishment Pacino cigar:

It's been hiding away in a closet for a few months, forgotten, until I rediscovered it recently. I dripped the liquid onto .5 coils to see if anything had changed. The flavor was much better. An excellent cigar with a great medium body, a managua wrapper, and just dark enough tobacco. The flavor was excellent.

The biggest downside was the coil residue. Not quite as bad as Want2Vape Managua, but I was forced to not only change the cotton but also the coils. Until they filter a little bit better I can't recommend it right now.

Funny you mention Pacino, I just opened mine ~6-7 weeks ago to allow it to mature, and had my first vape session today, for ~30 minutes... I found it Mild & Muddled flavor-wise, and the vapor wasn't as full with a 50/50 blend. My set-up was on a Mech Bottom-feed, fresh battery @4.2v, and an Atomic B-F Topper, dual coil 26 Nic 80 @0.430 ohms, 2.5 ID. I haven't checked my coils or wick, but I had no burnt or gunked flavor notes after the session... my DIY NETs blow this juice away.

I've spent the last 6 months tearing my business apart, and putting it back together bigger and better. 1st off, I just moved into my new facility that is 10x bigger than my old one. 2nd, there will be no more exclusivity contracts for this guy; any B&M that carries RBFS will be able to sell it on their website. Prices will also be lowered a bit. We are working very hard to not have any down time for the availability of my Sauce.

Funny thing about your statement that you may stray from NETs because you've acquired a taste for custards... I'm premiering a new line this weekend at VapeXpo in Ann Arbor, MI. The name of the line is H.P.'s Miska-Tonics, and they are all inspired by the writings of H.P. Lovecraft. 3 are custards: Peppered-Orange Custard, Blueberry Lavender Custard and Bourbon-Barrel-Aged-Madagascar-Vanilla Custard. One is a tobacco (I had to do at least one!), but an oddball: Rum, Plum and Fig Pipe Tobacco. Then there is a Clove Blend trying to mimic a Djarum Black.

I'm hoping to have both lines on at least one website by the end of the month.

Take it easy,
Brian

@Jerms Hey Buddy, Haven't seen you since A+ stopped doing Nets. How have you been? You have to tell me more about this Miska-Tonics. I was offered a sample of At the Mountains of Madness, and had to buy a 30ml. Lavender and Vanilla and Holy Cow! Stuff's amazing. Who is making this? A google search turned up NOTHING at all. Also, if I dare ask, has it been tested for DA/AP? After a two week steep, this stuff is SO rich and buttery, I'm not inhaling unless I find out it's safe. Which is OK, because just a mouth vape smells and tastes amazing....

I for one am seriously looking into a quality bakery tobacco...NET or arti. Haven;t found a good one yet.

And on further NON NET news...off topic but jimmy crack corn...

Caramel Wild Wood is dead to me. I ave vaped more of this juice than anything else by many fold over the last 3 years. The last bottle I vaoed was off a bit, but vapeable. The one I just got it absolutely TERRIBLE. There is a fishy taste to it that is just NASTY...and after almost a month steep it has gotten worse if anything. It has forever burned itself into my tastebuds to where I cant even bring myself to get a new bottle in case it is an anomaly. A sad and enraging and disgusting end to a great run. I am despondent.

And though i am sure it has been discussed and it is just one jerk's opinion I cannot get past Ahlusion simply using the same names from the discontinued NET line for their arti replacements. That just aint right. I tried the new "Maple Burley" and it was not good. Actually pretty similar to "Pleasant Wild Wood" aka Maple Wild Wood, whoch I didn;t care for either. ::sigh::

If anyone is sitting on a stash of old school Maple Burley please PM me.

I am going to drown my sorrows in some nanner cream pie

Turned into a cigar smoker again for a while. Finally emptied the last of the humidor on Friday. I was only vaping about 1ml a day. That was mainly to get through work. I'm back on track now. Have I missed anything exciting?

You missed the third Netty awards and all the drama that came with Nikotickets stacked voting violation.

Rambling and garbled thoughts from an absentee -

1) Air Cured burley by Net.com is one of my all time favorite Nets. It's likeness to a cigarette is profound. I am not sure why I didn't include this in my top 3 in the 3rd Netty awards. I misplaced my bottle somewhere in my vast inventory of liquids and found it afterwards when I wasn't even looking for it.
Air cured burley is dry with the lightest of grassy tinges to give it some dimension. But what I like most about it is its simplicity and cigarette like goodness. Better than cigarettes because cigarettes are disgusting.

2) My drunken pirates sweet tooth, count caramel and one or two other hybrids from RBFS have had a significant loss of the hybrid flavor 8 months along in their life cycle. Drunken Pirates Sweet Tooth lost that flavor after about 4 months.

3) Habana Daydream by QnJ is very underrated.

4) 2 year old London and Louisville by W2v are still amazing and in fact, amongst my favorite Nets. They work best in SS mesh wick setups.

5) Bali nights by Ethervapes is the absolute nuts of RYO tobacco extractions. I love big spirit and all the big spirit varieties from NET and they are often my go-tos but what I really like about Bali nights is that flavorsome bite of something weedy or grassy or something else-ness that is exotic or tropical in there that makes it a unique RYO.

6) Confederate and it's close cousin Bayou Brew are worth the hype.

I've seen a lot of talk in here about some users getting into custards. Charlie Noble and Sleeping Dragon vapor are highly recommended by be mindful of diketones levels and self-monitoring by vendors.

@AnthonyB
Thanks for the Air Cured Burley tip. I've Ben looking for another liquid with the grassy bite. On my first order with MVJ Diane included a sample of Centurion. It. Was. Wonderful! I've gotten two bottles since and neither had the same flavor for some reason. They weren't bad just not like first.

Yesterday I was trading off NET's 7th Cut and RBFS Dagwoods Wife. Complete opposites. Never having smoked a "blonde" I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. It took a little time to settle down but, I'm digging it. 7th Cut is very fine.

Count Caramel took me a little while to get used to. I seem to have developed an aversion to sweet vanilla flavors but CC was nice and dark without being overbearing.

To veer off for a bit, Blends By Bryce - Online Store - Blends By Bryce is my favorite custard. I've tried Charles Noble, Grants and few others. Bryan's won me over with quality and top notch service. And they're free of the nasty stuff.

#2 I thought my drunken pirates sweet tooth had lost its flavor as well after a few months.

Placed an order with EV the other day. Vash added a couple new NET's to the menu along with a new "cleaner" filtering process for some of the older NET's. The three with the cleaner filtering process are Gold Leaf, Bali Nights, and Confederate. Will report on how it affects coil life as I ordered Gold Leaf.

One of the new NET's really is not new. He brought back his English blend with the name of Kings Crown which is Latakia, Virginia's and Orientals. His Latakia was one of my favorites and was sad when it got discontinued. Am sure happy it's back on the menu.

Vash also has an new Oriental blend called Djinn. From the web page "A blend of uncased Turkish Samsun which is sun-cured and expertly blended with a light touch of Virginia tobaccos" Really looking forward to that one. This is his replacement for Nomad which was discontinued.

Another new one is Monticello; "Flue-cured Virginia tobaccos that are naturally sweet, with hay-like and citrus notes. Fans of Gold Leaf will love this new analog style blend"...Looking forward to trying this one as Gold Leaf is among my favorite NET's. Hopefully it is as good as advertised on the website.

You were/are the personification of grace and we netty lovers still benefitted a huge amount. Interesting for me was how some of the old standards are still hanging in there in spite of boutique explosions. PS my favorite is Gaia. So why didn't it win? Huh? Huh?

Oh yes, it was fun, was it NOT!!!

Welcome back Mike!
