Some nice sounding recipes! I mixed sun cured Turkish, red Virginia, and a burley (air cured?) to get a camel style blend I liked. I'm enjoying this new analog blend but not sure what all clay has in it, turkish is in it I'm sure.

Tried a very similar mix previously, SCT - ACB - FCV (Flue Cured). Good but I craved a bit more of a hit on the Burley and Virginia front. And so this experiment.

Dark Fired 2, a seriously smokey vape, is one I regret not re-ordering this time around. Stand alone it can be a slightly one dimensional flavour, unlike the Fire Cured Burley which has more sweetness and nuance. Mixed with some RV and Oriental the DF2 may have really brought something to the party.

I tend to use the varietals/custom blends in an rta during the day and then drip cigar vapes of an evening. The cigars seem to suit an rda for a full experience, the varietals/custom blends lend themselves well to a tank and a more subtle vape experience. At least that's what I tell myself. If nothing else it gives me variety!

Last night was 3-Crowns. An under-stated gem. As Clay describes it is a medium bodied vape. Consistency is the key with this one, it always delivers a decent cigar flavour.

Got some 3 month old Excalibur that I will be revisitng soon ;-)

Further notes on mixing down the extra extracts I have. Both the Yesteryear and 3-Crowns, now mixed back to around 25% less extract, delivered last night - neither required a rewick/dry burn. In fact I could have continued for a number more hours without an unacceptable (to me) level of coil gunking. Downside is of course a significant flavour decrease, I'm hoping my taste buds start to notice this less as time passes, for now it's borderline...

Well I have finally made my way through sampling the ample juices I got from my recent NET.com order and there are some real beauties amongst them.

Ariesa is a delightful robust cigar that has a substantial chocolate nutty taste.

Banana Walnut Stout is divine. When I saw the description of this juice I wasn't sure if by stout, the title and description actually meant that strong dark beer called Stout. Once I tried it there was no doubt about it. This juice exemplifies harmony and balance. Banana walnut and stout hardly seems like a good blend of flavors but Clay (or Chelsea) have blended this one superbly.

Grilled Pear and Grilled Pineapple - the flavor profiles don't make sense to me but following some praise for Grilled Pineapple for its combination of pineapple with bold pipe tobacco I just had to explore and it hasn't disappointed. Both of these are superb.

Carrot Cake - Tastes like a carrot cake! Very nice indeed.

Cinnamon Sugar Cookie - another juice that doesn't ordinarily make it into my cart but there has been good reviews on it from the Gourmet juice junkies mob. For those looking for a nice sweet cinnamon oriented juice this one is fantastic. The cinnamon is not a sickly sweet artificial cinnamon that will ghost your drippers for ever. Instead it is a warm baked cinnamon immersed in some bready cake or doughnut flavor. It's actually quite special. I love this juice.

Margarita is another hybrid I really enjoy. The lime and tequila in a light unobtrusive tobacco mix is refreshing and realistic. It doesn't taste artificial at all.

Raven, Mercenary and Eclipse all have an esteemed place in NET.coms cigar offerings. eclipse is an intriguing and full bodied flavor experience with Latakia immersed in a full bodied tobacco taste.

Perhaps the juice that had captured my heart right away is Full Zware. Full Zware is a shag cut RYO maceration. I've always liked RYO and cigarette like NETs so Full Zware fits my profile nicely. What makes it special is that it contains the dimensions of a RYO or cigarette NET but goes one step further to having a full flavor, some Earthy richness and woody boldness. It tastes like a cigarette NET in 3D.

I know there are a lot more juices that I liked in this bunch but these are the ones that left a solid first impression. Some still need to steep a bit more to develop their flavors but I sense great promise.

Awesome descriptions, thanks. I just placed an order and wish I had seen this post first, mine is rather bland haha. I did toss in an apple crisp something or other :)

I've put in 3 orders this year within a space of 3 months. I was dirty at myself for spending the money to catch up on all Clays August 8 deadline rush. The third order was during the Labor Day sales.

I was glad I put in the third order. All those juices were in my third order and I wouldn't know what I was missing if I didn't over extend my finances.

I am impressed at Clays creations with hybrids. For someone positioning himself in the market as a NET specialist he certainly has an ability to mix non NET flavours and the quality of the flavors is outstanding.

Apparently Clays wife Chelsea created a lot of the hybrids that were released before the August 8 deadline.

Camel Blend Version 2
50% Izmir/Oriental
30% Toasted White Burley
20% Red Virginia

Nice, very, very nice. The toasted white burley complements the Izmir/Oriental. Red Virginia rounds things off. I'm getting some really caramel notes off this one.

Smokey American Style
50% Fire Cured Burley
35% Red Virginia
15% Izmir/Oriental

Really good. The Izmir/Oriental though is a bit lost in here. A variant would be to increase the Izmir/Oriental to 25% or 30% and reduce the Red Virginia accordingly.

Again some serious caramel/toffee notes happening.

So far the experiment is a success, I'm preferring these mixes to straight up FCB, RV, TWB or Izmir/Oriental. Running out of Izmir....

Fair to say the possiblities are endless. On any given day preference may lean one way or the other. The best approach must surely be one that is open to what's on the table and unconcerned (for the moment) with the grass on the 'other side'.

So next up -
'Smokey American Style (with an Oriental Twist and Shout)'
50% Fire Cured Burley
20-25% Red Virginia
25-30% Izmir/Oriental

Also tempted by a more subtle along the lines of...
'Plains and Desert Blend'
40% Red Virginia
30% Toasted White Burley
15% Fire Cured Burley
15% Izmir/Oriental

Palate adjusted to the reduction in extract by approx. 25%. May well drop extra extract in a number of juices next time I order. Reduction in coil gunk has really been substantial.

Got some of this in the drawer steeping. Was going to leave it till last - probably around the three month mark). Glad to hear you enjoyed it and sounds really promising. Excalibur was good but I actually think I prefer The Ruins, Mercenary, 3 Crowns and The Raven - good for my wallet.

Raven, Mercenary and Eclipse all have an esteemed place in NET.coms cigar offerings. eclipse is an intriguing and full bodied flavor experience with Latakia immersed in a full bodied tobacco taste.

Mercenary is one of my favourites. Raven there's a 120ml bottle steeping, enjoyed very much previously. Eclipse I went off but now like again! That's Latakia for you (well me at least!).

I also have a bottle of Fistful of Burley steeping. Had a sample of this and was really nice. Love the Burleys and cigar vapes from Clay so thinking this may become a favourite.

Yeah no one quite does burley the way Clay does. The Air Cured Burley varietal is one of my all day vapes. It might not carry a flavour explosion or be robust but it's light, clean tasting and dry with a hint of sweetness and has dimension about it.

My mercenary, eclipse, raven and the Ruins are still steeping a bit. I found Ariesa good to go so don't be afraid to fill a tank with it before the 3 month mark.

A brief detour to something we talked about a year or so ago. Several here declared their fondness for Custard-y flavors as an accompaniment to tobacco and we got off on a tangent. Isle of Custard was a recommended brand. Since then they've opened Isle of Flavours which you can mix at your desired ratio. I got a notice that their having a sale so, might be a good time to indulge.

Some have mixed custard flavor with NET.com's Sun Cured Turkish with surprising results.

Just got a shipment from NET.com. A couple of which were mentioned by @AnthonyB, and a few of which Clay mentioned to me as being ones he was very happy with.
The only one I tried fresh was Sweet Cakes. Really pleasing, but I'm a sucker for sweet cakes. LOL.

How much do the NET.com juices change over time? I've always sucked them up quickly, so I've no idea.

I have found that nets take on different characteristics of the tobaccos used as they age. some do not have much taste, IMHO, the first month or so, especially cigar vapes. An entire new taste may be experienced 3 to 6 months out. Therefore I buy or extract a large amount as I know waiting is not my thing.

NET
Natural Extracted Tobacco, or---more correctly---Extracted Natural Tobacco.
NETs are usually made from macerations of chopped or ground tobacco, meaning suspensions in PG, VG, or a mix of those two base liquids, that are steeped (cold-process) or cooked (heat-assisted), then filtered. Occasionally small amounts of PGA (pure grain alcohol) are added to the suspension/maceration.

Cold-Process macerations take much longer. The maceration steeps at room temperature from a week or two up to two months before filtering. The flavor extracted from a cold-process maceration is often “softer” and slightly more nuanced.

Heat-Assisted macerations take only a day or two to make. The suspension/maceration is simmered over low heat for some number of hours, then allowed to cool before being filtered. The flavor produced by heat-assisted extractions tends to be more potent and intense, but may sacrifice some subtlety.

Other methods for extraction include Steam-Distilled (SD), Alcohol-based, and Carbon Dioxide Gas (CO2).

NETs produce copious quantities of extract from very small amounts of tobacco. A maceration using 15 grams of natural tobacco (less than a single pack of cigarettes) yields enough extract to make 500-800mls of NET eliquid.

Tobacco Absolute
Tobacco Absolute (TA) is a commercial product made by various manufacturers (most famously in Bulgaria) that was used originally in the perfume industry. Natural tobacco is distilled or extracted into an essential oil carried as a suspension in an alcohol base. TA is super-super-concentrated and must be significantly diluted (e.g., 1:100 or more) for use in flavoring eliquids.

Tobacco Extract
The commercial product called Tobacco Extract (TE) is the same essential oil of TA suspended in a base of PG rather than alcohol. Usually sold in diluted form, TE is still very concentrated. Used very sparingly and with restraint, TA/TE adds a smoky component to eliquids that is reminiscent of burning tobacco. Using a little more imparts to eliquids a “dirty ash tray” flavor that some vapers (who are usually ex-smokers) actually like. Using too much, however, ruins the flavor of the juice.

Whole Tobacco Alkaloids
Whole Tobacco Alkaloids (WTA) are entirely different from NETs, and the two should not be confused or assumed to be connected. NETs are about flavor and mouthfeel; WTA is flavorless. The processes of deriving WTA from tobacco leaves are designed to reproduce in vaping similar physical/psychological effects on the nervous system (in terms of calming and satisfaction) that occur when smoking tobacco. WTA is often considered an aid to smoking cessation for new vapers still struggling to give up tobacco in any of its smoked forms, although some vapers may continue to use WTA liquids even after quitting. By contrast, NET liquids are for vapers who appreciate the taste of authentic tobacco, either unprocessed or cured, as opposed to the artificial "tobacco flavors" produced in eliquids by synthetic, lab-based flavorings. Natural tobacco extracts do not produce significant or even measurable amounts of WTA.
Is this a dream or did i just see a whole list of N.E.T vendors ?

As a general rule Vape the hybrids you got which are on the sweeter side earlier than the NETs with no flavoring particularly if you look sweet Vapes. As time passes the tobacco will steep and become more pronounced and the flavorings will fade a bit. That's not always the case but if you like juices like sweet cakes then vape sooner than later.

In regards to just NETs with no flavoring I would say let pipe tobacco steep for 4-6 weeks and cigar NETs 3 months but taste as you go because I find a lot of NET.com NETs sometimes are great immediately (bare in mind I am in Australia and any juices I order have already steeped for 2 weeks by the time they get to me).

You surely did. the one cravat, check them all out thoroughly as things have changed with new vaping regulations. Some vendors, unfortunately, are not in business any longer.
