I have wasted a lot of tobacco at the beginning. Wrong tobaccos and wrong methods. Now its very easy for me to make a good extract:

1. tobacco: You like sun cured turkish or not ? Try
Peter Stokkebye turkish 84 pipe tobacco
2. make a mixture, for example: 50ml VG, 50ml PG and 50ml 96%Vol ethanol and poor it over the 30-50 gramm tobacco and close the jar
3. put it in a waterbath at 45°Celsius for 3-4 days.
4. put the tobacco away and filter the extract
5. put the extract in the oven at 50°Celsius to evaporate
the ethanol for 4-5 hours
6. ready to mix it with base and to vape immediately

In my opinion the most important thing is ethanol with vg and pg and not too hot.

Cold extractions with the same ingredients are even good but it will take time for steeping. I have done only one cold extraction with 45%VG, 45PG% and only 5% ethanol. I have tasted it after 11 months and it was even good.

Hey Jonny, good to see you still around.

I've never really understood the role of alcohol based extractions particularly when there is also PG and VG in the solvent for extraction.

Perhaps it is so obvious that I've overlooked it like when you are looking for something and it's right in front of you.

So could you please explain the role and purpose of alcohol in the extraction process?

So thru the years I have tried a few nets, mostly from HHV which I love. Although i have tried most of their nets and alot are good, I only really prefer 2 which are my adv. Also love a couple from goodejuice and indigo vapes, so I was really excited to have recently placed an order from Naturally extracted tobacco. Purchased the black cherry and a coffee one and also tried one of their hybrids. Anyways I let them steep for weeks, although I tested them prior, but I find them totally different to those other nets I mentioned. These nets just don't seem as clean, and tbh nothing like I anticipated. I can vape the hybrid uncle junk blackberry, it's not to bad, but the other total nets just taste dirty to me. Maybe they need more steeping? All the ones I bought are the heat maceration because I took it they would have more TH compared to the cold maceration. So maybe the cold maceration is closer to juices like HHV and the others I mentioned? I just think the net.com juices taste nothing like those others and I guess I thought they would be kind of similiar

My take on this is that the more realistic tobacco based NETs are not to your taste. I get what you are saying. It is what you describe as 'dirty' that many NET lovers enjoy about NETs. It is the realistic simulation of tobacco.

You would be more suited to Black Note which make very clean tobacco based NETs.

If you are going to persevere with Net.com juices try the Air Cured Burley. It's very clean tasting simple slightly tangy Burley. I love it. The AnthonyBs Rum Rebellion is also very clean.

Okay guys just a quick message here from an experience I've had from a trial on refrigerating juices over a year - don't do it! I lost hundreds of dollars of juices from NET.com, goodejuice, MVJ, RBFS and Ethervapes which I had in my fridge in amber Boston bottles for 6 months or more.

Strangely , I also refrigerated VG max non-Net juices for sub ohm vaping and they stayed well preserved in the fridge for a period of over 18 months.

I cannot explain why my NETs went bad in the fridge and my juices for sub ohming didn't. Could be that I took the NET juices out for a few days and then put them back in the fridge, could be that PG doesn't fare well in the fridge or it could be the ethyl maltol or other flavourings in some hybrid NETs that went off in the fridge.

I doubt the few days out of the refrigerator was the culprit, maybe the EM/ sweetener was affected. Since I don't use EM, but do use Cotton Candy in a very few non-nets, I'll have to pay attention to the refrigerated Cotton Candy extract appearance and aroma before mixing, and flavor effect afterwards.

Though I don't keep ready-mixed juices in the refrigerator, all my non-NET flavorings, PG, VG & Nic are kept there during the Spring/ Summer since I live in the desert and so far, so good. For some odd reason, I've always stored my NET extracts and all ready-made juices in various closets & cupboards.

Also... if you still are thinking of trying other N-E-T.com stuff ( it's one of my fav's I know ), look at the sampler packs. You can get several smaller sized ( or larger, your choice ) of different types to help you find what is more your preference.

Well, I went relatively small. 30ml of NET's Custom Smoked Leaf and 60ml of 'Dat Caramel Brownie in a Pipe which seems to be the best chocolate I've tried.

Me too — I went with a 30ml bottle of the Pistachio pipe tobacco. I really like pistachio flavored eliquids. I will try it first and if there is not enough pistachio for my taste will add some flavoring to it. Allthough not a NET I like Charlie Noble Pistachio RY4 however it is 80%VG so too much VG for me.

Always wanted to try that noble pistachio but unfortunately, like most juices these days, don't come in 24mg nic. [emoji20]

a few folks do not like the vaped harshness of PG. As for me, I am allergic to PG. So in order to filter my extracts faster, I add a bit of high proof alcohol to the VG to thin it like as the PG does. I also found it kept some extracts from going sour, oddly enough.

I believe it goes up to 12mg. I have the Envii Fitt pod system and they have CN Pistachio RY4 in pods at 18mg. This is too much for me so I take baby hits so I cannot take full advantage of the flavor. I hear that toward the latter part of the year Envii will be offering 12mg.

yes, i'm also not receiving any emails about sales, and I've ordered multiple times from them, as have you.

I have been buying from Clay since 2014 although not as much now. During this time I have never received an email advising of a sale. Generally his sales are around holidays and posted on his website. As I had not seen a sale for Easter I did contact Clay and asked when he would be having a sale. My guess would be the next sale may be around the 4th of July holiday or possibly Mother’s Day. If you ever want to know for sure about his sales just email him.

I think you've given me an idea for the next NET poll should the good people allow me to run the next one.

I will include a category called 'best cleanest NET' or 'the cleanest Net'.
