I called Ahlusion today and spoke with Wlad. I first told him about how much I am loving Caramel Wild Wood (had to ease into it. LOL) and then about how bad my early December order of Devil Dog is.

I proceeded to tell him about the terrible performance and absence in flavor. He assured me two things: 1.) the recipe and process haven't changed and 2.) he wasn't the one who made that bottle (I actually can't remember the last time my order said "mixed by Wlad," though that was the norm before they expanded).

Wlad asked me if I thought my taste in the liquid changed and I assured him it wasn't that, and even if my taste had changed, my knowledge of the liquid has not (not saying I know it more than him, but he ain't exactly got my bottle either). He never questioned coils or anything like that.

After I answered him honestly, he said "send me your order number and I'll be able to see exactly what happened with that bottle" (may there be a record of exactly how everything was made? Dunno.) I told him I would email him more detail about my experience with it, but he said "nah, just send me the order number and we'll get out a replacement." Note: I did NOT ask for a replacement.

I want to convey a few things about that interaction: 1) it wasn't easy for me to tell him how bad that liquid was, but he made it comfortable saying so. 2) I don't want anyone to think this is an example of what you can expect if you call Ahlusion and say your bottle tastes off (don't use me as an example), but I wanted to share my experience. I am 100% positive that some people have had different experiences with them in similar situations, and I am equally positive some people have had the same experience as I did--there are NO guarantees. 3.) There are no refunds or replacements with their eliquid, so this situation was likely due, at least in some part, to his and my particular history.

Glad you called him.

Can anyone recommend a good apple tobacco w/ menthol?? Or just a great apple tob. I can add my own menthol to?
Halo's Midnight apple was horrid to me. I brushed my teeth 5 times and still tasted stinky grandma dime store perfume. Awful.

Or is peach or pear or cherry tobacco any good?

If anyone wants the remaining Halo Midnight Apple, it will be sitting down on the corner, in the rain, all alone, ...far enough away that I will safely never have to smell it again. Just the thought of it... aaack.

Hey sorry I'm like 4 days late replying to this. i saw a pretty good looking apple vape on net.com and theres ten different levels of menthol you can add too so that should be perfect. for cherry tobacco. legend from HHV is great and might be my favorite vape of all time. lastly for peach I heard good things about the peach tobacco from ahlusion. i think maybe its called peachy criminal. sorry i havent tried all three. oh and did you give that midnight apple away yet? i like halo flavors so i might want it lol

12 days from ordering.

10 days to ship, from New York to Illinois, using plain old 1st Class Mail.

Tracking posted OUT FOR DELIVERY early this morning.

Mail arrives after I leave for work, but the Venerable Vaping order did arrive! The Fogger is the v2.5, with insulator already in the 510 connection and with adjustable airflow. The Tobeco KFL clone does come with the plastic tank in addition to the SS one.

And a benefactor gifted me a Rocket, which I received yesterday (Monday), coiled today (Tuesday) with 28 gauge Kanthal coming out to 1.8 ohms with 3mm Ekowool and filled with Heavenly ARMY. So I had a sneak peak at this Kayfun Style -- and MY GOD -- IT'S FULL OF STARS!

The flavor is surreal, and linger in my mouth well after vaping. A thick, saturated vape. Hits hard and the flavor never ends. No leaking, no dry hits -- even with a temperature change from inside to outside, just some slight gurgling most likely due to the airflow being set too tightly.

Now, this IS vaping!

My pet peave is "out for delivery" w/o it getting delivered. Fedex was supposed to deliver my Ahl order yesterday. Lets hope it gets delivered today. I have a FT order out for delivery today too!! Fingers crossed.

another shipping rant... i wish the tracking systems for usps/ups/fedex were set up differently. Theres no point in emailing the customer the tracking number until its actually in the system. It would make more sense to delay forwarding the tracking numbers to the customer until the carrier has actually performed a scan.

Yeah, it gets that moldy basement, stuffy closet undertaste that I do not like at all. Only a few juices I have tried or mixed for myself get that way. Worse than mulchy grass or horse stall straw.

Yeah, there are no real DIY recipes short of using Hangsen's Tab concentrate which is not going to do the job as well, though it approximates decently. Part of the problem with Hangsen's Tab is that it steeps out strangely.

My Ahlusion order is also gone into a black hole. According to FedEx "Smartpost" it's been in OH since the last 4 days. I think once they transfer it to USPS, the tracking doesn't get updated. They say 2-10 days for delivery for Smartpost... Not very Smart, I think :)

Same peeve regarding tracking details. Called usps and FedEx up before. They all tell me that they scan all the packages when they load em up on the truck, and that tells you "out for delivery". However, there is no guarantee whatsoever that the truck finished it's round before the work day ends, so "out for delivery" can mean anything from you getting it today or tmrw. That's silly if you ask me.

Rant aside, 8 days after my order, my ahlusion juices have finally been shipped!!!! Words cannot express how excited I am to finally try out smth literally everyone has been raving about. I hope it's mindblowingly good. That would be the only reason why I would bear with the obscenely long processing time.

I hope you love them too, but those expectations seem to often lead to disappointment. People rave about juices they love, but still doesn't mean I will like it, even if it seems everyone else does.

I've seen many people here get so excited about a popular flavor or vendor that there's such a little chance that it will meet their expectations. I've seen people complain that Boba's Bounty may be very good, but isn't the best thing ever. That's how high expectations get, very good turns into a complaint. Anything short of an instant orgasm results in a failer.

Not that I'm saying that'll be your experience; if any vendor has a chance of being mindblowingly good to someone, Ahlusion is as good as any at making that happen. But I've learned for myself that it's best to not get too excited about a popular product.

My expectation is that anything new will be pleasant and nice to vape. That's all I really hope for, that the product I buy is decent enough to enjoy for a bottle, and I research enough that it's usually the case. The one's that turn out even better I reorder, but even with my favorite vendors I don't end up loving everything I get from them. At least with Ahlusion, everything I've ordered has been at least enjoyable and well made to me and a lot I've loved. I haven't had any big disappointments from them yet, but in that huge menu I bet there will be at least one I despise.

Nice try, but I've seen you rave about A+. Based on your reviews and the two weeks (so far) that I've been waiting for my juices, my anticipation level is high and my expectations are off the map. I'm not going to be happy with any disappointment and if you don't think I wont be taking it out on you, you shouldn't have chosen to live in a vacation mecca destination that I'm so likely to visit.

However I'll also add, if someone notices they have similar tastes as me, there's a decent chance they'll also like Ahlusion. If someone buys Ahl juice based on my raves but hasn't liked other juices I like, it's on them. :D

I'll also gladly dispose of juices that someone is disappointed with from Ahl. I offer that service for only a small fee.

Vurley rocks. With the exception of DD, I love the aro line so much.

I agree Love Sweet Georgia Peach as well

And Maple Burley is starting to come together for me as well
the others were good out of the mail but the MB had a strange alcohol like taste to it day 1 and the maple is just starting to taste like maple day 7
all the others were great day 1

Out of the ones I've had: Vurley, Sweet Georgia Peach, Blue Grass Burley, Smokin' Cherries, Devil Dog, and Honey Cured, the last one I liked the least but still enjoy quite a bit. Overall, one of my favorite lines ever, but I'm also finding a lot to like in the non-aro line. Maple Burley I'm really hoping works for me, should be here this week.
