And how neatly we come back to the topic of tobacco...it took me all of 90 minutes to break that promise to myself and taste Organic tobacco #1.

I was half-worried that with three tobaccos tasting very similar to each other, this one would too.

No. Nononononono.

This is an explosion of flavor. Two tastes come immediately to mind: pine pitch and chocolate. Yeah, you heard me. And somehow I'm not screaming and running away in terror, but vaping more in an effort to understand how and why this works. It wasn't long ago that I gave away my Highbrow tobaccos because they were too cleaning-product-reminiscent, and yet here I have this liquid with more than a few Pine-O-Kleen overtones and I am loving it. Go figure.

Organic #1 is sui generis. I can't wait to see what steeping will do to it.

That leaves Perque and Apple Cured.

Cotton made us thrive.

"Made us" is one way of looking at it.

Okay, there is a reason why the forum should have bar rules of no politics and religion. :thumb:

This was my first juice from GeJ and it turned my vaping life around!

I will say something else about all my GeJ juices....they are absolute foggers. Big white plumes of fluffy, fragrant vapor. Thick enough that I will have to run them by my colleagues to make certain they are ok with them. One employee infamously nixed MOV Gold by saying it smelled like "the subways in Paris" (snort).

One more plus for those juices: unlike so many other juices, my favs from GeJ are the very consistent tasting juices. Whenever I reach for Patriot, Vita Bella, #1, Fire Cured, Wrangler Light, GJ4 (well, maybe not GJ4, as it seems to shift a little bit to a lot) I know exactly what I am going to get. I love it when things are accurate. GJ4. in its prime is very consistent and spectacularly good BTW.

You bring up another good point about GeJ that often gets overlooked because of the shockingly good quality of their flavors... they're also great performers!

Or France! :p

Of course, if I remember correctly, we had a revolution on this continent once because of over-taxation . . .

And France very much helped saved our ... by commiting their navy to our cause (we had no navy at all, the brit navy was massive). It ended up costing the French government of the time quite dearly in the end... We clearly could never have won our revoltion without the help of the French navy.

Revolution because of over-taxation is an over-simplification. It was, of course, more complex than that, as all revolutions (successful or not) have always been.

Okay I'm giving Perique a shot. I've only ever tried Vaperite's version, and after hearing such scary things about Perique I was expecting some hairy-chested charcoal-briquette flavor. VR's was a pleasant and high-keyed fruity tobacco, shockingly mild contrary to my expectations. That is, until it messed the clearomizer it was in and tasted wretchedly burnt :(

GoodEjuice's Perique is also fruity and somewhat tannic with the "pucker factor" of a strong tea or a red wine. (It doesn't taste like either.) It's a bit more mellow than the Vaperite though... I've been puffing on the same carto all afternoon and it hasn't soiled it yet, either.

Y'all are going to think I'm nuts but between Wrangler Light, Acadian Gold, Wild Turkey and Perique, there are only small points of difference:

Acadian Gold is the nutty one.
Wild Turkey is the slightly punchier one.
Wrangler is the smooth one.
Perique is the fruity one.

Keep in mind that this is all still my first impressions, not "official" or final judgments.

And Vita Bella is still a fluffy frothy dessert. I keep thinking "meringue" when I vape it. Are there really certain people (or others;)) who think this is harsh?

Vita Bella wasn't so much harsh to me (when I first got it) as it was LOUD. It was just overwhelming. I described it as "whangy". The flavors you describe, I taste now, but in the beginning, they were just all jumbled together. I suspect mine was from a very fresh batch. I was very surprised when I tried it at 6 weeks old and it was almost a different juice altogether.

I like the distinction you're making here, G.

I vaped some old Cold Infusion Cigar from Want2Vape last night. Yes, eliquid does eventually go bad. And yes, you will taste it all night no matter what else you vape, eat, drink, or brush your teeth. Finally, you will feel like you're going to throw up....

Guess that was a bad experience.

THANK YOU! There are those out there who would vehemently disagree, but I am not one of them. If you pop over to the BWB subforum, for example, you will find people who believe that Casablanca and RY4 just continue to get better and better with age. I don't know, maybe Backwoods' juices are somehow exempt from the laws of physics, but I suspect we'll see our first vape-related death in about 10 years when one of these folks cracks into the 'vintage' bottle of RY4 they've been squirreling away.
