Haha! Thanks scarf. I actually don't mind creating my own blends. But I will def be getting some Patriot in my next order. It's been shown too much love around here to be ignored.

On a different note, I've been vaping Ahlusion's Blue Grass Burley exclusively today in an effort to completely wrap my head around it. I really know nothing about tobacco so, as it was with the Gej's, this is a brand new experience. I'm really happy to say that I haven't gotten tired of it yet, not in the slightest. It's really hard to discern some of the notes it sings but, boy, is it a beautiful melody. It all happens quite effortlessly as you would expect, it being a singular extracted flavor. The most dominant note is the spice. It reminds me of the piney-ness of Gej's OG#1. The earthiness is there as well, but not quite with the girth that is so prevelant in OG#1. It's a subtle toasted earth, if you will. The final note I'm trying to capture is this most miniscule hint of sweetness. As subtle as it is, it keeps screaming, "BERRY!" I haven't quite grasped it, but that note alone is enough for this juice to keep me content throughout the entire day. TH is phenomenal as well, at only 12mg nic. Dripping on a 510 atty, 4.5 volts on the Twist. Perfection!

Wow...an NET review! I love it. I am unfortunately out of the biz now, but I love watching from the sidelines. Who knows, maybe I will pull an MJ if Nick or Wlad comes through with some top-secret missions...:sneaky::nun::headbang:

I'm sorry to hear that, I looked forward to your reviews. I understand your reservation.

A Marine posted in the "New Member" forum, and I pointed him to Ahlusion.
Am I correct that they gives a military discount?

I have a two-month-old bottle of Dark Horse sitting in my vape station  (I just keep forgetting about it!)

I need to take that juice out for a test spin, soon! Maybe tomorrow, with my coffee.
Eleanor I can attest to the fact that Dark Horse is a splendid coffee vape.

EDITED TO CLARIFY: that is, it is splendid to vape with coffee. It isn't coffee flavored. But you knew that.
Sigh. Sorry, long day. :(

Organic plus Perique Test Drive:
I could not remember the exact proportions specified so I mixed roughly 1ml of each in situ in a Kanger clearo.
This is niiiiiiice. The fruitiness of the Perique mitigates the strong herbiness of the Organic, but not so much that it loses its personality. Throat hit is superb as usual. I feel that this is a balanced but still strong tobacco that is more than the sum of its parts. I've never had American Spirits so I can't say if this is accurate, but this will be joining Morley and Dark Horse as excellent cigarette replacements.

I think I shall call it Symphonie Fantastique, because I am feeling a bit pretentious today.

Awesome, scarf! I love it! I can't say that it really reminds me of my old organic roll-your-own American Spirits per se, but it surely is a fantastic experience. Def a strong cig replacement. Haven't had a beer in quite a while but I imagine this will do the trick cutting through. Remind me to get a few brews this weekend ;)

VENDOR: The Plume Room
JUICE: Candied Cavendish, 18mg, 70%VG, about 2 weeks old, tested in a Boge 510 LR carto on a Reo Mini.
THOUGHTS: I have taken my time writing this because I just had so many wonderful things to say. The "candied" part of this liquid is a rich honeylike glaze with notes of real but cooked banana. (Honestly, you know what this puts me in mind of? Those marvelously gloopy banana fritters you get for dessert at Chinese restaurants. Or even maduros, aka fried plantains. THAT sort of banana.) The tobacco is a smooth, buffed tobacco with excellent mouthfeel. I almost want to chew this vapor, it is so decadent and silky.

The parts combine to make one of the most delicious E-liquids I have yet had the privilege of sampling. I know a few of the ECFers who read this thread are bottom-feeder mod users. Let me tell you my friends, this juice was MADE for bottom-feeders. It is viscous enough that the feed into the Reo is smooth as, without any of the unpleasant hot-juice-in-mouth incidents that sometimes are the consequence with thinner juices in these devices.

Now all is not perfect in Candied Cavendish land. This juice suffers from two traits (VG-heavy recipe and NET content) that make it unhealthy for some hardware. I have found myself replacing the carto with a bit more frequency than I normally do, and atty users will want to be especially careful about frequent cleaning. But I will accept that, because this flavor is just so RIGHT.

Andrea is a kind and conscientious vendor who makes some really interesting and delicious products. My parcel was carefully packed and arrived in perfect condition. I am only just beginning to explore the wonders of my Plume Room order, and I look forward to sharing more of them.

Good one scarf! Lookin forward to some more... did you get burley & candy as well?

I did. I got 10mls of each of the tobaccos except the menthol, plus Lemon Chiffon Pie and Vanilla Caramel Frappuccino.. Andrea gave me samples of Cuban Cigar and Blueberries & Cream.

Burley and Candy is different. I don't think it was an accident that Andrea named this one "Candy" and not "Candied" because this one is more like candy candy. Get it? Sort of a wheaty-sweetness to it, like those sugary breakfast cereals my mother never let me eat LOL. No fruit tones either.

Makes perfect sense to me!

Ooooooo . . . whyever did I wait so long to dig out this HHV Dark Horse?

It has the HHV signature sweetness, but is a very pleasant grassy (not pipey) tobacco . . . going down swell with my Lady Grey tea right now! :)

I don't know why you waited, but welcome to the small and exclusive club of Dark Horse connoisseurs:)

I scrawled my name on the walls of that club house quite some time ago. LOL. Although, I haven't paid dues in a long time -- I let that membership/bottle run out.
