I am firmly convinced that HHV's Dark Horse doesn't get enough love. :p Especially when one is in the mood for a totally unassuming but satisfying NET, that doesn't clash with anything you might be noshing on or drinking! :)

I also generally try not to feed trolls.

I ordered a small bottle of Dark Horse and I am regretting not getting a bigger bottle. Perfect with my morning coffee. Going to try Huntsman next.

Trying out my GeJs again... still not there, but definitely getting better (vaping some patriot right now).

Patriot... distinct notes of Cocker Spaniel and overtones of retriever (Golden? Labrador?) with just a soupçon of Dachshund.

If anyone from Aussie Vapers.com reads this, I would like to say hello. I happen to make and sell didjeridoos, but I make mine out of pvc piping. Since I live nowhere near a eucalyptus tree that had a limb hollowed out by termites, I figured using what I have available and making something out of nothing is quite in the same spirit. However, travelling to Australia to chop down live limbs and hollowing them out myself I find to be blasphemous and against that spirit. So my didjs are not "authentic," but they are respectful and quite stunning.

p.s. If you want a very satisfying tobacco with pure tobacco goodness (not a hybrid of other flavoring and tobacco), try GoodeJuice's Fire Cured! (preferably at a high nic)

"For those seeking a true fire cured taste, our Fire Cured Tobacco ejuice is made from a blend of the finest flue-cured Gold Leaf Tobaccos, a dark-fired tobacco processed by the Perique method blended with authentic Latakia Tobacco, which adds a depth of spice and passion. All natural ingredients, no artificial flavors." GeJ

This post was recently made and could really get you started nicely. All of us are more than willing to help. Too bad you can't send a bulk PM out easily. There's really no consensus around here as to who makes the best or anything like that, but we can surely point you to where you might want to try. Tell us about your set-up.

The Plume Room
Heather's Heavenly Vapes
Goodejuice
Ahlusion
Want2Vape
Quick nic
House of Liquid
Darth Vapors
Highbrow

I've probably forgotten a bunch.

Definitely try GoodEjuice... Along with the others you mention. I have not, but it is next on my list with Ahlusion, due to the rave reviews they both get on this thread.

Thanks so much. both these lists really help. Now just have to figure out which to try. Looks like HHV has a lot of cherry flavored tobaccos. i think I may skip those. My experience with anything cherry related was that it tastes like cough syrup. I really liked The Plum Room smooth and mild and the candy burley so something along those lines. I also like nutty flavors. I did try a dark and mellow from Vapor ..... i think that I did not care much for. It tasted like an old man smells to me. Kind of strong. Thanks for your help. I will check out these sites as well as try to read some more of this thread.

As for my set up. O have more than one. ore than I probably should really. I have found that different juices taste quite different depending on what you vape them with so some juices that I like in my reo with a Vapage atty I don't like much in a genesis. So I kind of use a little of everything. I have quite a few genesis atties though. Ranging from the mini Chid, Chobra and AGA's as well as a ZAP and real Cobra so a little of everything. Also a Penelope that I really like.

Okay, now.

While I find the recent comments about GeJ to be funny, I know that the "funky" taste is probably acquired for some, refreshingly honest to others, and extremely familiar and long sought after by a few; but Patriot is not with that particular bunch. The funky bunch (though I love them) is more like *Acadian Gold, *Wild Turkey, Organic Tobacco #1, and to a lesser degree, *Natural Perique (*best in the spring to summer). Patriot is more in the band of GJ4, and to a lesser degree, Vita Bella (those are all hybrids i.e. other flavors coupled with tobacco.) While Wrangler Lite is technically a hybrid, it is in the middle of the straight tobacco and the hybrids in terms of taste. The natural cocoa (what makes it a hybrid) in Wrangler Lite adds, in the strangest way, a cigarette like flavor that makes that juice quite reminiscent -- well, more like how the minds eye remembers cigs tasting, but not the same taste (obviously) if you were to have a face off between the two at the same time.

Be careful when reading "cherry" in the reviews. They are not cherry flavored juices, but people are merely trying their best to convey what the juices taste like.

p.s. Yes, most cherry flavored juices are medicinal. Ahlusion is a place to turn for the real deal on cherry FYI.

I've just been ribbing - I seriously haven't let them steep long enough. I'll hold your SC for 2 months, and you can hold my GeJ for 2 months. ;)

Do you think it tastes like cherry? I wouldn't think of cherry as going with coffee. That's why I ask. i read the description that say strong cherry flavor.

Also to everyone, is there any one place you would send someone new to NET juices or would that really just depend on opinion?

Not at all! The only juice (besides Swisher I assume) that has that distinct cherry note is Gandalf. I would definitely recommend HHV as they have dessertish NETs like ShadowFax, Dragon's Fire (I would start with these two), Serendipity, Pirate's Booty, and Gollum.

Oh I know, I (kinda) am too. ;)

Hey, I am falling for the juvenile delinquent that is Smooth Criminal. Luckily I got a large bottle so I can keep it 'til it becomes hardened (as Tez once stated).

I have a 30 ml of SC on the way and already regretting not doing the 60! I do have Desperado, Deal Maker, BGB, and some more treats coming so I am not totally freaking out. ;)

Those both sound good as well as the gollum and a lot of others. I may try the sample pack and go from there. i am so tired of throwing money away on juices I do not like so i am always a little scared to order a lot on a first order. I just got my order from Copper Creek because so many people raved about it and it was even rated #1 on the Guide to Vaping's juice list and I just don't think those juices are for me. So a sampler this time might be a good idea. Thanks so much. Do they happen to have a coupon code?

They don't have a coupon code now, and their sampler is definitely the way to go (as long as you have other go-to juices on hand). Unfortunately they just closed up shop until after Thanksgiving weekend so they don't have orders stockpiling and people being upset by delayed shipping times. It's worth the wait though. :)

Ok so I think I am going to try the Shadowfax, Dragon's fire, Huntsman, and heavenly tobacco. For only $10 its a great way to try a good selection even if the nic is a little low in the sampler. if I like it I can always order more. I do wish the gollum was one of the sample options but if i like these I can try that next. I do wish they had a nutty tobacco flavor. I will have to look around for that. The plume room doesn't have one either. Thanks for the help. :)

I would lean more toward recommending Ahlusion, GoodeJuice or HHV (in no particular order). Most of those vendors have similar steep times, but the one thing, the MOST important thing, they all have in common is that they are some of the leaders in the filtration of the extracts. All that means is that you can vape at your own leisure and not have to worry (too much) about coils getting clogged. For instance, you wouldn't want to take Want2Vape or Vaperite out on the town unless you travel with spare parts and a tool kit. When I go out, I like to travel lite with ecig stuff: a mod, two juices and no more than two attys.

Based on what I've read about your likes, I would recommend these from these:

Ahlusion: Smooth Criminal (requires and open cap steep for 48 hrs with intermittent shaking), and anywhere from a week to a month to get mature. Some say less than a week is perfectly fine, others say up to a month (I am somewhere in the middles -- about 2 weeks.) Or any of the NON-AROMATICS.

GoodeJuice: Patriot or Wrangler lite (or maybe even Apple Cured or GJ4) from their House Brewed Line. Neither require steeping necessarily, but they do benfit from it (Patriot more than WL.)

Heather's Heavely Vapes:

I agree with Ax, but would also like to add that I would advise against Gandalf, Serendipity and Huntsman for now.

There are nutty notes in Smooth Criminal, though it is not what I would consider nutty.
