I just started into my MOV Pen dragon, SM, and Virginia ry4... Granted they haven't steeped yet but well they taste like pretty much nothing, the ry4 has a nice caramel vanilla thing but the tobacco is non-existent. I'm kinda bummed I got samples before you guys convinced MOV to up they're extract. I also wasn't impressed with the coffee notes. But I was setting myself up for failure picking a coffee one, I roast it for a living so I don't think I'll ever really appreciate the coffee flavor in a juice.

How the h-e-double "L" is that possible? Dang, I wish I would've sent you an atty with the package.
Only seven hours until I get home! Hahahaha.
Honestly, parcels from the USA have been taking longer than usual so I wasn't expecting it for a while.
There is a difference between bashing a vendor and truly loathing a juice. I hate a lot of juices, and if I do, sometimes I will just say it without any reasoning; conversely, I have juices that I love, and sometimes I will say it without a review or without any expressed reasoning. It always depends.
Amen. If I was a vendor, I would be more proud of a juice that some loved and some hated rather than most just liking.
I do both things, bash a vendor or loathe a juice. Not often, but if I have an opinion I'll state it. I'll bash AVE for selling Bounty as a tobacco, but also state that it's also one of my favorite non-tobacco juices. I'll tease Halo for many of there rank tobacco juices, but also included them in my top 5 vendors for their other juices. I'll bash VV on their NET fiasco, but also state the owner seems genuine and respectable. I'll bash Pluid for being a juice that has food coloring added, a practice I disagree with. Freedomsmokeusa, Madvapes, Gourmet Vapor, Virgin Vapor, and BackwoodsBrew have some juices I hated. I get to have and express opinions, even unreasonable ones.

Has anyone found an e-liquid with a nice smokey exhale that isn't harsh or "ashtray"?
I had one for a while (not going to go into that again here) from a local shop but bought out their stock and can't seem to find a replacement. It almost has to be that the local juice was steeped on the shelf for many months...maybe that's the key for TA/TE...don't know...must...find...tasty smoke...![]()
BWB has a juice called Smoke. I never had that one, but I read it is in fact smoky. (Not an NET, though. Probably doesn't matter if it works.)
Thanks, I'll check that out. Probably also not a NET, but a review of Aroma Turkish Blend describes the kind of thing I'm looking for:
" This has a rich smokiness
without tasting like an
ashtray - the kind of flavor
that some will tell you can't
be done.
Love it!"
Any experience with that? It is available with WTA which I wanted to try anyway, but the sticker shock...ouch!
Yep, I have had it before and I believe you have as well. If you are interested in it because of the WTA, then go for it, but if you just want the taste you may be equally served with this. There was a time when I didn't know the difference and really dug that flavor, but once I had the other I realized that the two were, if not the same, sure tasted the same. Granted, that was also during the time when I swore that Halo was one of my favorite vendors, so I was a much different vapor back then.
***Be careful with descriptions.![]()
Ha! That's even the same photo!!
In that case I think I'll just go ahead with my DIY plans (I have some good recommendations for top note flavors) and keep trying the NETs discussed here...and anxiousy await the Sahara Blend debut.
Thanks...saved some time and money there I think!
DUDE! I didn't even know it was EXACTLY the same picture!Good eye.

You know, though, the way that description matched my own experience, plus what I've picked up so far on the DIY forum really makes me think the key to these TA flavors is extremely long steep times. Maybe even months. Also, using the flavoring very sparingly.
A lot of DIY guys say ultrasonic cleaners speed up steeps times immensely:
Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III
That might be handy for everyone.
Back to the topic: Who hear has tried Cravin Vapes? I know one poster has, but I can't remember who else.
Me. I am cracking two of them open tomorrow for the first time (2 week steep). I'll get cozy with them and post my impressions (at risk of beheading).
I got all of QuickNic NETs plus a new one coming soon as well. I hope to have something good to report back. Rich returned my call and we had an awesome and friendly conversation -- he's straight-up nice! Man, I love humble vendors.
I just checked them out for the first time. The Gradpa's and Habana look like interesting blends. Good price for 5ml too so cheap to try, might have to add them to my list. Anyone know the extraction process they use?
