The Reserve is worth it in my opinion. Very stout with decent body, and has some other stuff going on which I think may be how it's steeped. Good stuff.

I was a huge proponent for the epipemods sauces early on. I vaped that stuff like there was no tomorrow. Very unique and tasty stuff. Hat off to Matt. I do have to say though, the NETs I have found during my journey have caused me to move on. Let's keep it at that. I actually still have some sauces on 'the shelf'. Wondering... naw.

Jerms - I'm looking forward to trying those EPM sauces one day as well. I've heard they're pretty good, and quite pipe-ey.

TB - MINT! Keep me posted on the modding results. Interested to see what you do with that top cap, as that is the only thing that had me hesitant originally. Got over the look of it pretty quickly, but if you can improve on it somehow, you'll have a KILLER pipe for stupid cheap!

Oh, how's the Guevara Reserve? Anything special? Worth the extra dough over the standard Guevara?

Functionally? Nothing. It's actually a better design than the magnetic switches in my opinion. More like the Jazz. I am just not a fan of the gold blingy look, and it's way too thick. I got extra switch plates in the deal, so I will be looking into refinishing soon.

I hope this is the right place to ask this, but if it's not, maybe someone can point me in the right direction. I am interested in vendors that sell the tobacco extract liquid that hopefully have some of the properties of the tobacco left in it. My reason for wanting this, is that I have Ulcerative Colitis. I am hoping that some of the other indgredients in tobacco might help this condition. Thanks for any help.

Not really the right place to look for a cure, but maybe I can suggest something. Will PM.

Right on. Yeah it does look kinda blingy, but as long as the switch works well I can look past that.

Here's my latest Ahlusion review. Of interest to you tobacco lovers are Vurley and Maple House Blend.

Vurley: The vanilla is stronger and sweeter than I expected, but it works so well. This is another outstanding addition to Ahlusion's aromatic line, but I like Blue Grass Burley just a tiny bit better.

Maple House Blend: This is a much milder tobacco and perhaps a good choice for those that find the aromatic line overwhelming. The maple is sweet and natural -- more like a maple candy than Aunt Jemima's syrup. It's very good, but I have a feeling that I'll enjoy Maple Burley much more.

Full review and steeping notes here.

PENDRAGON Blues

Well...I must say that MOV's Pendragon is defenitely not for me. I did everything I could to like it. It got a lttle bolder with steeping but apparently not enough for my taste.
This is what happened today.
After the "I like it...I don't like it" vapes with various devices from kgo to twist to Silver Bullet and so on, and different tanks and Atties. I finally decided to give it one final try. I filled a Vivi Nova with Pendragon set it on a Provari and took it to work as my only vape for the day.
Big mistake. By lunch time I was already looking for an alternative. I almost smoked an analog. Pendragon was that unsatisfying to me.
In my opinion it lacks body and flavor, very poor throat hit and at the end of the day I was tasting something akin to diluted Robitussin.
I am very impressed with MOV's Southern Gentleman, and their 555 is a little better than average, but Pendragon was a dud. It is neither horrible nor good. It seems to promise a good vape in the initial puffs but goes no further.
In short: I'll stay away from this one

PS: I vape at 24mg. and these are personal opinions I try to be objective when I can.

Quick Nic Our Why Quatro!!!! This is taking its place as my favorite NET RY4. It is definitely heavy on the Carmel and Vanilla, quite sweet but there is definitely a genuine tobacco to back it up. The carmel is a more of a dark carmel as opposed to your milky carmel and the vanilla is very bright kind of cake-like vanilla. This is definitely along the lines of a dessert tobacco but its presence as a NET is right there. So far I have tried Rygar (great), GJ4(good) and Full Virginia Flake(meh) and I have to say this one takes the cake. Rygar and GJ4 may have a bit stronger tobacco presence but I feel that this has all elements very well balanced. Highly recommend this one. Im sampling the other Quick Nic's I have and so far the are all quite good. More thoughts on those to come.......

Oh I have also given my four MOVs another try a few weeks on. Favorite is still Full Virginia Flake, because it still tastes like butter-pecan ice cream. YUM!

Pendragon, Sunday Morning, and Southern Gentleman are still weaker than I like. :(

Better than Rygar eh? I will have to do a side-by-side comparison:)

Rygar is very good. It's also very different. I'm glad I have both. I think it's actually more of the Carmel and Vanilla used in OWQ that I really like. I like Rygar for its more straight up tobacco. These inclinations with juice with Juice are sometimes conditional and dependent on mood. Who knows maybe next week Ill be asking myself, "What was I thinking, better than Rygar?" Either way I think they are both very good.

CatsPJs,

Here's a link to my review on The Really Big RY4 Roundup thread of Ahlusion Gold Rising, which ends up comparing the newest trio of NET-based RY4s: A+ Gold Rising, MOV Full Flake VA RY4, and QuickNic ouR whY qu4tro: post #3517.

ouR whY qu4tro seems to me the strongest and most intense of the new crop of QuickNic NETs. I have Grandpa's NightCap, Habana Daydream, and Kuba Kuba, all of which strike me as much more restrained and subtle. I can't comment on Fired in Georgia, since peach is no more than OK to me, and peach tobacco is not something I crave, so I didn't order it. Anyway, I look forward to your thoughts, CatsPajamas, and will add more my own in response.

Since MOV is getting, well, I won't say "hammered," but how about "mixed reviews" on this thread for its new NET offerings, I'm very curious to read more of others' thoughts and opinions about QuickNic's. While I understand that if folks don't like a certain juice or set of juices, they're likely to leave very brief "didn't much care for 'em" posts, but I haven't yet had close to my fill of further discussion of the entire new class of NET freshman that have appeared over recent months from Ahlusion, MOV, QuickNic, AliceinVapeland, MyVapeJuice, thePlumeRoom, and VelvetCloudVapor. Yes, every new NET offering has been duly noted here with opinions and reactions tossed around, but personally I'd like to see more round-table dialogue, like a symposium. I don't know, maybe I expect too much from us mere mortals, but this thread is my favorite on ECF, and I'd like it to be vibrant and brilliantly informative.

I've enjoyed MVJ My Hero Vanilla for a bit. I actually consider it equal but different from Vurley, a high compliment for me. Today I'm really starting to appreciate the My Hero Original. At 2 months old, the flavor is about the same as 1 month, but it's more full and the tobacco comes on a little heavier. I really like how it's aging.

This is a one leaf tobacco, using Connecticut Broadleaf that's normally used as cigar wrapper and filler. That makes it sound boring unless paired with other flavors, but for me it's a very pleasant though simple vape. Some people have faulted it for being murky or muddy, and I agree, though for me it's not a bad thing. It has zero high notes, and not much clarity of flavor. Instead is round, bassy, with some mucky distortion. It makes me think of Delta blues played with a harmonica and cigar box guitar.

I had planned on sticking with the hybrid NETs from MVJs new lines, but now think I'll include the "original" verions too and let them age a bit. I also think the originals might benefit from the extra flavor shot option available. I notice on their site they have a "steeped to perfection" option that includes the bottled by date. They also have an upcoming NET listed that has a maple brown sugar blend in the Wicked Wench line, I like the sound of that.

That's why this thread was started. It's not a place for hating but for informing. Personally I've vaped over 60ml of Sunday Morning from MOV and can't get enough of it. My Vape Juice is in a rough spot right now due to someone ratting to paypal. Out of the new ones billherbst has mentioned there are a few that I'm not fond of whatsoever. However those that are should be raving about their favorites so newbies looking for that tobacco fix can quit the cigs.

I try to stick to talking about juices I enjoy. It's easy for me, since I think I'm rare in that I enjoy most juices I've ordered. Since I try to vape all juices I buy, I try to find a way for that juice to work for me rather than the other way around. For some most juices are crap, but for me most juices have been from good to great. I think it helps that I research a bit before buying. I also smoke the occasional cig, and even the poorer juices tend to beat that flavor. Also, I switch flavors so often that if a juice isn't working at the moment I move on, and oddly enough next time it's working for a short session. Even my least fave in my current rotation, Turkish Twist, sometimes clicks for me for a little bit.

I hadn't heard about a paypal issue with MVJ. Hopefully it gets resolved as the 3 I have I really like, and they are at the top of my list having juices I want to try next.

I agree with you Luce regarding Sunday Morning, I'm almost done with my 30mL bottle I got a bit ago, and I love it's slight creaminess and overall flavor. Like Jerms above though, I rotate many times a day so it has lasted longer than it otherwise would fortunately. My latest purchases have been MVJ and QnJ. for MVJ, i received pretty much all of their NET offerings as I got four freebies because of a web order issue, and they are turning into nice Vapes after a few weeks into steeping. Notably the my hero original which I didn't care much for initially now strikes me as quite good a vape. My favorites thus far from em remain my hero vanilla and savage cocoa blend, with rogue touch of spice coming in after.

QnJ, I am very Impressed with. Our why Quattro is as good a RY4 variant as any I've had (in fact the only other I've really liked is MOV FVF, right now I have these as tied, but just started vaping OwQ), and GNC, Fired in Georgia, and kubakuba are just great juices on my palate. I can't yet figure out how to describe kubakuba, it's an odd duck but really is suiting me the past few days, and only about a week and a half steeped, so will be interesting to see how it transforms in the coming weeks.

Bill,

Unfortunately I can't view your link from my phone, tapatalk hasn't been very find of links lately but ill be sure to do so when at home.

I agree with your observation of quick nic and its juices. Although Kuba Kuba seems to have a very forward flavor however I'm on the fence with it. It is a very earthy and almost soil tasting juice to me. Not quite sure about it yet. The other flavors are a bit subdued to me right now but I haven't given up on them yet.

As far as the thread being more of a "symposium" or "round table" style discussion I couldn't agree more with this idea. I know I have expressed my distaste for certain juices and possibly in a distasteful way and I will take responsibility for that. I know most of us have our "favorite" vendors and we are quick to stand up for them or voice our praises with abandon however I feel these thoughts and actions would be better saved for the appropriate threads. It becomes a bit of an ego centric battle rather than stimulating conversation. Recently this has been a common occurrence and has resulted in some very informed and intelligent contributors of this threads absence. This is very unfortunate and actually quite a tragedy. My absence around here may be imminent but for completely unrelated reasons. Before that happens I would hope to be seen as a contributor to the progression of this thread in the likeness of which Luce created it rather than in the digression of its petty squabbles. I hope that all of us who frequent this thread can lay aside prejudices and egos in an attempt to further the illuminating discussions around Net Juices and most importantly inform those who are new to help them find the same passion that we have which keeps us even further away from that next analog.
