Well, I don't think there's any risk of me finishing off the GoodEJuice juices before a long steep. Here are my novice views on the three that I received after a 2 day, caps off steep:

Patriot:
The tobacco is unmistakable. This is not a sweet juice, but yet it is smooth on the inhale and exhale. Not getting anything much over the tobacco taste which is quite raw.

Natural Perique:
Tobacco, tobacco, tobacco.. an almost cigar like flavour. A very dry juice.

Vita Bella:
This one is just weird right now. It almost has a boiled rice smell/taste to it. I can just about discern a faint sweetness to it, but the funky taste is masking most of it.

I could not vape any one of them right now. I'm going to put them away and try them again after a month, and then every subsequent month after that.

Waiting to see how they develop.

Bring on the pain..

In my twisted mind, this whole review reads as a glowing endorsement! If I had not already been as familiar with GoodeJuice as I am, I would be ordering this very second. I think you will find yourself coming back to some of these with a different mind. Your palate has henceforth been initiated! Welcome.

Hahaha, I was thinking the same thing. I remember before I ever tried devil dog I mentioned getting it as part of my first order from Ahlusion in a post in the Ahlusion thread (rip) and you responded to the post "You do know what Devil Dog is, right???" An ominous warning that I was about to commit a grave mistake and it was enough to deter me from getting it until my second order. However I did get BGB and when I first opened it up I was blown away and terrified all at the same time. I wasn't sure how much I would be able to vape that juice at first. Answer now: ALL DAY! It's just funny how NETS are such a different animal and at first with some of them you think WTH is this and then a few months later you can't live without it, lol.

Dusty just hang on to those and keep sampling. GoodeJuice is on the light side with most of their flavors for me except patriot, well most of the time. That's why I was interested to see how ordering extra extract would work out for you. I have Vaped more Patriot than any other juice out there. VB does have a strange plastic kind of taste to me at first as well. It calms down. Patriot I have always liked right out of the mail but that is also after sampling almost every NET out there. You should be receiving plenty of juice to keep you busy until these steep any day now!

I received a 30ml of Mom and Pops Tobacco Haze (spelled out for BillHerbst) today. This like we know but stating it anyways is unmistakeable a Tobacco Absolute (spelled out for BillHerbst again) juice but with a kind of almost Bakery or Savory component to it. It's down and Dirty yet sweet and buttery at the same time. I have found a small place in my heart (very small) for TA (see above for clarification) and this seems to be the Juice that is going to foil that spot when necessary. It's only day 1 so I'm interested to see this Juice's development. It took Mann a year of steeping to fall in love with it, lol. That makes Bonzes 5 Months Vita Bella (spelled out for BillHerbst yet again) minimum look like a walk in the park.

Sorry Bill just have a go at ya, all in good fun;)

I am laughing out loud over here! Damn it, TCP! Stop it, my babies are sleeping! hahaha

What is in that damned juice, besides TA? Sheesh!

Every vendor needs a juice that, above all others, is their signature, top-secret juice!

Mr. Mann, a quick Q (i.e. question, lol). Assuming you are correct about "reverse steeping", could that not be averted by refrigerating the liquid and thus ceasing the steeping process?
(And thank you, Mr. Herbst for the rant)

I don't know about that. Knowing Wlad, he probably has some scientific reasoning behind why that would not work. Maybe not? Either way, I will ask him. I still think the best thing would be to buy 15 mL bottles, and if you want 30 mL, maybe just ask for two 15 mL instead; that way, one could stay sealed while the other one was devoured!

FYI, this would likely only be an issue with Sweet Georgia Peach, Smokin' Cherries and, uhh, I think that's it, for now at least.

General "like" to the many fun posts I just skimmed through after a long day. All I brought with me going out-of-town is a carto loaded with Turkish Twist from The Plume Room and the rest of the bottle of it. It tastes okay as long as I don't have a choice laugh-out-loud.

Looking forward to getting home for some cherry tobacco action. Either Legend from Heather's Heavenly Vapes, which I have at 60/40 propylene glycol/glycerin and 15 milligram nicotine. Or maybe Pendragon from Mountain Oak Vapor, which will give a little more throat hit at 70/30 propylene glycol/glycerin and 18 milligram nicotine, and I'm craving some throat hit. Ahlusion's aromatic tobacco Smokin' Cherries I accidently ordered at 30/70 propylene glycol/glycerin when I meant 70/30 propylene glycol/glycerin, but still has a good kick at 18 milligram nicotine. Both, by the way, was delivered by the United States Postal Service. Hi Bill!

But I'm typing with my thumbs on a phone keyboard, plus I'm long winded, so I'll initial whenever I can. Jst b hapy I dnt post lik I text.

Ok I lied, no cherry. Opening my juice box Virginia Flake RY4 from MOV called to me. This juice has made a nice transformation from the couple weeks ago when I vaped it fresh. The decadant caramel which ran the show and had notes of buttery popcorn has settled and the tobacco is more noticable. Thankfully the popcorn note went away, which I didn't like (reminded me of Jelly Belly butter popcorn jellybeans; nasty). It's still very RY4 instead of tobacco with flavor shapers, but now a NET instead of dessert.

Rant incoming. Take appropriate cover.

First, let me state that I'm not singling out anyone in particular. We're all Bozos on this Bus, as the Firesign Theater eloquently noted so long ago, and many of us (including me) are guilty of the sin about which I will now complain.

What sin? Initials-only Acronyms. With some posts, I feel like a World War II codebreaker in Bletchley Park working to decrypt a German Enigma-coded message. Look, folks, I'm interested in what all of you have to say in this thread, but having to work overtime at decoding the hundreds of acronyms not only detracts from my pleasure, but aggravates the hell out of me as well. The over-use of acronyms is lazy, insensitive to others, and even sometimes a subtle way of padding one's presumed status as a member of the "In" group.

In the mythical universe that exists only in my fantasies, I imagine a working rule: In any post, the first mention of a given juice, vendor, or just about anything else should be spelled out in English, using full words. One exception to this rule is the acronym NET. Anyone who doesn't know what that acronym means has to go straight to Remedial Newbie class. The other working exception is when a post is a response and contains a quoted segment that clearly establishes the identity of whatever is being discussed. After that, acronyms are fine, helpful, and good shorthand.

I know this has been discussed before---often---but it needs restatement every so often.

End of rant, with apologies to anyone I may have inadvertently offended. :)

LOL!!! Yes, we're abusers of acronyms. Guilty as charged. In my case, there is no elitism or "in-crowd" motive. It's strictly 100% pure, unadulterated laziness!!! :) I'll try to do better because I have no argument to your rant.

Oh, QnJ = Quick nic Juice.

Your out-of-the-box impressions of Goodejuice (GeJ) are of no surprise to me Dust. They are exactly what I would have expected. I like your plan to revisit them monthly. I know your impressions will change. One other note...relative to Heather's Heavenly Vapes (HHV), GeJ is more of a raw tobacco flavor. Few flavor shapers are incorporated in most GeJ flavors. They are closer to real pipe and cigar flavor than HHV. I know you will keep an open mind cuz I know you. I think if you give them a chance, you will eventually cozy up to them. I enjoy the raw flavor of GeJ. I don't vape them as Every Day Vapes (EDVs) but they are definitely in my rotation.

Bill would be so proud of me. :)

Norman, Ok
I see I got an email from Diane @ MyVapeJuice announcing that they've released their NET extracts into their DIY section...

Burley Tobacco Extract
Dark Fire Cured Tobacco Extract
Aged Burley Tobacco Extract
Light Fire Cured Tobacco Extract
Medium CT Broadleaf Tobacco Extract
Brightleaf Virginia Flue Cured - Smooth Extract
Canadian Virginia Flue Cured Tobacco Extract
Broad Leaf Tobacco Extract

I suspect some DIY'rs will really like seeing those.
