Hey boomer, have you received the GeJ silica yet? I'm wondering if the pic matches what's sent since braided isn't in the description.

I found a source for braided ceramic. It's actually heat treated so it can be safely used but it's ummmm a little expensive. $7 a foot! Might be worth it if the wick lasts a longgg time, but I'll wait for when the price drops.

I expect it to arrive tomorrow. I got it because it was described and numbered like the descriptions I've seen of Ekowool, which is what I wanted in the first place. I'm going to see how this stuff works out before I get any further into it. I like wrapping my wicks with SS around the end where the coil is going to go. Square braided cotton isn't working for me and I don't like the taste I get using regular silica wick. I will report back after I coil some up.

That list is definately the who and the what of NETs. Especially for the cost of shipping to Canada, that person has saved you many hundreds of dollars to try the best NETs out there. The Our RY4 isn't a NET, but it's a fantastic synthetic.
