How do you pronounce "NET"? Do you say the word, as in fishing net? Or do you spell it out, as in "You down with N.E.T.? (Yeah you know me)"? I've heard people use both. I use the former, myself...probably because it's easier. Ha!

So are you NET or N.E.T.?

I use both depending on whom I am talking to.

However, this video sums it up for me :D

I have had issues with just about all my 30 mL bottles leaking around the cap if not 100% successful with a seal. I never can tell when or why the seal is 100%, but often times when I shake, my hand will show signs of juice or I'l see little splatters across my screen. I have seen this with virtually all bottles, plastic or glass.

Glad to know it's not just me. Wonder if Diane knows.

This is all true, but "chemists" also refers to the name of the shop. In the USA you would call your local Rite Aid/Walgreens a "drugstore", in other parts of the Commonwealth you'd call it a "chemist". But the person making your meds is still the "pharmacist".

Example, "I'm headed over to the chemist to have my prescriptions dispensed by a pharmacist".

As you were.

Thanks for the correction, Scarf. :)

The bottles from MVJ are the worst IMO. You just can't use them without a mess. Colored glass bottles with eyedroppers work best for me.

Same here. I use 10ml needle tipped bottles for filling and use the eyedroppers from the 30ml bottles to refill the 10 ml bottles when they come with them. The squeeze bottles aren't too bad but, the flip tops are horrendous.

I received a message from Kurt about the issue of carcinogens in fire cured tobacco. I would rather quote his PM, but if he doesn't get back with me as to whether quoting him like that is okay, I'll just say that according to him, the levels of TSNAs are higher in "fire cured/fermented tobacco." He couldn't speak definitively as to whether the higher levels were great enough to translate into anything more than normal (if that even translates) in a vape, but he said as tobacco itself, yes, there would be more. Once again, this is in relation to tobacco, but not necessarily fire cured eliquid, so that question dangles out there. If I was a betting man, I would say...

Thanks MM.

Thanks MM.

No problemo, B. I've said this before, but no matter how I respond to posts, if there is something of substance there, I'll always take it to heart. In the case of your question, I wanted to know an answer from qualified individuals, even if was just their best guesses. Your question definitely got me thinking.

I guess there are two of us "who care" anyway. :)

There may not be enough facts or even if there were it may not change anyone's vaping decisions, but it is nice to know (or not know) what info is available...to the best of our ability. I am always amazed at the low priority health issues get. It is assumed vaping is much better for us than smoking (and I would place my bet on that too), but that doesn't mean we should dismiss vaping as "inconsequential".

Nice work and thanks again.

Do MVJ bottles leak a little bit for anyone else? Especially when shaking them up? I mean the 30ml with the flip tops.

I've never had the 30ml bottles from MVJ, but I will put in a good word for the 12-15ml bottles she uses. They're long and sort of flat and easy to squeeze, and i can fit more of them in my vaping pouch than the typical round ones.

The 15ml GEJ bottles are horrible to squeeze. I had to use a cuticle scissors to actually slice the tip off the dripper, otherwise it would take me both hands to squeeze about one drop per 30 seconds.

Apropos of nothing, how precisely does a parcel going from Australia to Michigan wind up getting scanned at JFK?

At least it got scanned... I sent a parcel to Australia from Seattle a week ago along with another package and it still doesn't show that it left the post office (the other one was delivered 3 days later). I'm beginning to believe that there is a vaper in the sort room :(

In Australia we tend to call our pharmacy's 'chemists', so we don't go to the pharmacy store or the 'drug store' as Americans like to say. We go to the 'chemist' which is the generic name of a 'drug store' or pharmacy. We got to the prescription counter at the 'chemist' where the pharmacist will give us our prescription drugs. I guess I considered a pharmacist more of a prestigious title representing someone more than a chemist because I always thought a chemist was someone who simply worked in a 'chemist'.

Get it?

Though I am happy you provided a more accurate description.

My sarcasm meter is off, so I'll answer this seriously.

In a lot of places other than the U.S. Pharmacists are known as Chemists. A Pharmacist is just the person at the drug store that will fill your doctor's prescriptions. A Chemist is someone that plays with organic and inorganic chemicals and mixes stuff up. Like in chemistry.

Okay, so I'm slowly moving through my HHV order, trying to give them time to steep. Intrigued nonetheless, so one by one I'm testing them on various devices. Okay, so I only have 2 devices, plus a few different tanks, and no dripping atomizers -- I haven't even been at this a full month.
Anyway, previously touched upon have been Dark Horse and Heavenly Army. Tonight, it's Serendipity.

Serendipity: smooth, light tobacco with a hint of fruit at first, perhaps raisin. As it heats up in the mouth, I get hit with a sweet coffee, hints of chocolate, but the exhale and taste that lingers over my palette when all of those flavors collide is sweet tea.

All of this from my Triton/ego stock voltage with a mini-tank. Looking forward to giving it a fuller workout in the BCC. It's very flavorful, and intrigues me. I hope Legend, its brethren, is as good. I really enjoy how the flavors compliment each other, and then coalesce to become something greater on the exhale. I still get the tobacco on the tongue, but the sweetness of the raisin-ish fruity notes is there too. Nice and complex, but not too brash.

I enjoy it. Don't think it's an all day for me, but it something I could relax with in the evening, since it's mellow yet delivers a decent throat hit and vapor is top notch.

Since I enjoyed Dark Horse the last time and I found it similar to GeJ's Wrangler Light, I spent most of yesterday with Wrangler Light in the Protank. Still a great analog taste, and after a week of steep, its sweeter. I'll give DH a bit more time to catch up and try that one in the Protank as well before I decide which one I would have in a permanent rotation.

I was right in assuming the package waiting for me was from Goodejuice. I could hardly believe it when I opened my parcel to see the Goodejuice logo. 5 days! It only took 5 days to get from the US to Australia. That is incredible. I've had goods from China take longer and I've never had anything from the USA arrive before 8 days.

This second order in as many months was due to the fact that Gej was out of stock of Wild Turkey, Acacian Gold and GJ4 so I ordered those juices plus another Patriot.

Right before I put in this order a lovely Australian from the dullest city in Australia which also has a whale with ten breasts, sent me 2 10 ml bottles of very well steeped Acacian Gold and GJ4.

I like all these juices but the one that stands out right now is the Wild Turkey. It's only 5 days old but it is already so good. It is sort of like Patriot light. What Patriot is to cigars, Wild Turkey is to a good robust cigarette tobacco.

I would like to present a scenario with the range of GEJ liquids in my most colourful imaginings using the frame of reference of a family.

Organic Tobacco is the strong, experienced grandfather. Patriot is the strong handsome husband that holds the whole family together. GJ4 is his beautiful and sweet wife. Acacian Gold is the younger gorgeous daughter, who adorns herself in gold and is flamboyant but it is Vita Bella who is the more dominant, sensible, responsible older daughter. Wranger light is the younger fairer son, always vying for the attention and recognition of the elders but Wild Turkey, the older stronger son is more his father's son and secretly the favourite. A real chip off the old oak block.

Have I gone too far with my far fetched family analogy? Probably, but it's my lunch break on a dreary Tuesday and I quite fancy using family metaphors to describe juices when I am bored.

Gee, thanks, Anthony -- you make me want to break out the Wild Turkey again :)

That one I am steeping the longest, since I got nothing but grass from it the first time. Meanewhile, the color of my Organic #1 seems to be very dark cola or light motor oil. It's dark. I recalled I liked that, but need to revisit it soon. I do know that I need a larger bottle of Vita Bella soon ;)

Glad you got the shipment so quickly.

Too far? That was original as hell!
