I hope someone can help me. I am a new vaper and fell totally in love with NLV Gold. Tried to reorder and they are totally out of stock. Is there any other tobacco out there that is similar to the NLV Gold that I can try?

I knew I loved the NLV Gold 24mg the first time I dripped it into a joye 510 (2.3ohm) atty using a spinner at 4.5v to 4.6v. It has been my all day vape and I stopped smoking using it. I am now 22 days smoke free. There is nothing else I can vape for a long time.

I would greatly appreciate any help and advice you can give me.

NLV Gold appears to be another artificially created tobacco flavor... not a naturally extracted tobacco which is what is being talked about in this thread. I suspect it is unlikely to actually taste like something extracted from real tobacco... but perhaps someone here will have tried it and can point you at something.

You should check out billherbst's outstanding RY4 thread to help you find ones you'll like. Western RY4s tend to favor the sweet notes. Those are often referred to as "custom" RY4s. "Classic" RY4s have a more neutral balance. It sounds like that's more up your alley. As far as NET RY4s go, I think you should check out GeJ GJ4. It's very, very good. Compared to MOV Full Virginia Flake, it has more of an emphasis on tobacco. To me, FVF definitely has a true tobacco taste, but it's sweeter than GJ4.

Ordered GJ4 and as you said it was very good. Exactly what I like and enjoy. Just a hint of sweetness and a mild taste with a bit of TH.
Thanks bunches.

Love me some NLV Gold, but tobacco I cannot find in it. It tastes more like pancakes and maple syrup to me. It's one of the more famous of the TINOs.

I've not really found anything like it, but if a "desserty" tobacco is what you like, you might try some of Heather's Heavenly Vapes tobaccos. Dragon's Fire, Shadow, and Heavenly Army for starters are very desserty.

What nic strength did you get? I was going to order a mixed bag of gj4, vita bella, and organic #1 but was unsure with the 50/50 ratio. I've only tried a couple 50/50 and 30/70 juices in 12mg strength and was disappointed with the throat hit. I don't need intense throat hit or anything like that. Just a little punch or else it feels like flavored oily air to me.

I've found with GeJ that 18 mg. nic gets me the nice throat hit I like - not a mule kick and not found wanting either. You can request any nic level on their house blends too, in 1 mg. increments. You aren't pigeon-holed into the usual 6,12,18,24 options.

I can't comment. I asked a similar question once, ended getting 32 mg, so all of mine have a really nice TH :glare:

Looking forward to trying something lower now. :p

I really enjoy all the 50/50 ejuices now; that's what I get from GeJ, and that's what I order from HHV. It works well for both flavor, vapor and TH. No complaints with any juice from those 2 in those categories.

Who would tell you to go that high? That is a terribly good suggestion.

I missed those pages out of the 900 I was perusing. Lots of great reading -- thanks scarf-ace.

Is GeJ's nic still weak? Should I bump my usual 24 mg up to 32? I know he changed up the extraction process, adding another filter to it from a few vids I watched from last year. Good reading, though.

If you, like me, can vape 24 mg regularly, you could handle going up. That is just me, and I am not sure why this is the case with Nick's nic, but the 32 mg juices just work. That being said, my new orders from him are down to 24 mg (except for Fire Cured.)

I will go out here and say: THANK YOU Mr Mann, Jerms, johni, Bronze, Dusty_D, Shatner, and RPADTV and all of the other regulars!

Without your experience and guidance, I wouldn't have made such excellent choices in the small circle of vendors I purchased from -- you helped me find flavors that surprised me, educated me in the ways of all thing tobacco and ejuice, and offered worthwhile suggestions that I fell in love with.

Without this thread, I might have gone back to analogs when life got rough.

To me, this is the most worthwhile forum THREAD on ECF! kudos to all for building it, and keeping it strong, entertaining, personal and informative! I am much indebted to all that have posted.

Thank you.

Do you guys prefer to drip your NET's or use them in tanks/cartos/etc.?

I MUCH prefer dripping to any tank I've tried. RDAs allow me to use various builds to adjust wattage to the juice, using all mechanical mods. Since I got a Reo and Reomizer 2, I mostly drip from the bottom.:D The Reo gives me the superior flavor of dripping with an on-board juice supply.

PS: I have a Pro Tank and a couple of AGA T2s (one new in box) that I'm going to put in the classifieds unless someone here really needs them.

both. HHV's work well in either iclears or Protanks. I've shelved my Protanks though because they are too inconsistant and a bit to airy for me. Iclears work fantastic with great flavor, vapor and TH.

GeJ's juices do perform better in a dripper. Drippers/atomizers will always bring out more flavors than a clearo could.

Johni, I currently use a Reo with cisco 510 atty's... Is the Reomizer the way to go for a NET vaper? I know it has to be cheaper in the long run, but I have also never used an RDA.

I too use a REO. The major push to the Reomizer (RM2) was economical. Using NETs with the Vapage slant coil, I could only get about 3 days. Now, I get at least a week on a coil, change my wick daily (5 minute job) and continue on. The Vapage slant coils cost me about $10 each. The coil for the RM2 is about $0.03. When I did the math, it was a no brainer. I am vaping A+ Smooth Criminal (based on recommendations of this thread) and have gotten 2 days on a wick. A wick is about a q-tip worth of cotton.

Thanks, malkuth. I am getting 2-3 weeks with cisco's, but there is definitely a steady performance drop off after the first couple of days. I know the RM2 is extremely popular in the Reo forum, but I don't know how many of those folks vape NETs...

The RM2 is defiitely the way to go! Best flavor and vapor production. It has a ceramic, sloped deck so when you squonk, excess juice gets pulled back into the bottle so you can't flood it. It has a small enough chamber for accurate flavor but wide posts with holes and screws for ease of coiling. I use a microcoil, wrapped on a 1/16 drill bit, 27 g kanthal, around 9 to 11 wraps. Meters .9 to 1.2 ohms, YMMV.

This thing is easy to set up and maintain. Just pull a tiny bit of cotton through coil to wick, pull out, dryburn, and replace when your NET gunks it (every one or two days). Costs $43 plus wire and cotton initially, less than 5 cents to rebuild!:D

Of everything I have tried, this is hands down my favorite setup for flavor, ease of use, durability, and overall satisfaction!
