I want to go on record as saying that I really, really enjoy Gollum from HHV. However, I am deathly afraid of getting more because the likelihood that it won't be the same is just too high (HHV, in my book, is not known for consistency, unless we're talking about issues with consistency). What to do, what to do????

Do what I do. Ask Adam if he's working from the same batch of extract as your last bottle. :)

His consistency is on the upswing. His newest batch of Dragon's Fire was spot on to the previous batch. His Gandy 1/Gandy2/Gandy 3/Original Gandy/Legend/Serendipty iterations (all the same tobacco BTW but different extraction quirks) is what has earned him the reputation of being inconsistent. Then there's Pirate's Booty which also changed. But those are old stories now and when he nailed Dragon's Fire last May I felt more confident he was getting a handle on things.

@BJ: I get anywhere from sweetened raisin bran cereal to a plum liqueur from Dragon's Fire... I don't get any chocolate at all.

But I am weird :blink::shock:

And this proves that Dragon's Fire is near-impossible to describe. Unfortunately for vapers, it will require a lot of faith to try DF. :)

I have yet to hear anyone say that DF sucks.

Oh freaking no!!! I avoid many Perique's because of the almost raisin like thing some get. I like a heavy "yeasty" perique like fresh rising dough or bread, but not freaking RAISIN.

So the holy yuck trinity for BJ...choco, honey, and raisin. RAISINETTES ARE THE DEVIL'S TURDLETTES.

Let me guess...DF has a slight ::criminy shudder:: coconut finish?

No coconut but some say banana. :D

no coconut -- no nuttiness of any kind, thankfully. Can't stand nutty or coconutty.

DF is basically Legend, which has a plum/raisin note, but with different extraction. Or vice versa.

DF and Legend are not related in any way. Serendipity and Legend supposedly are but I might argue that one. :)

Nope, it doesn't suck. Just not fully in my flavor profile. Oompa hit the mark for me for a nice chocolate tobacco -- after 3 months steeping I chain-vaped the bottle dry. Legend just worked better for me than DF.

I don't blame Adam as the extraction is, literally, out-of-his hands.

Did you see my last pic of a 24 mg Dragon's Fire? It looked like pink water.

That was not how it was last year and it has not steeped into anything remotely close to what it was. This order was from Aug 10th 2013 and it is now September 19th. The liquid tastes the same and is only a bit more than a smidgen darker (but it's very anemic in hue/value), but not better in taste. It would seem to me that the consistency is not an old story, unless a month ago is old.

Same here, DF didn't suck at all, but it failed to impress me. The bottle lasted a long time and I wouldn't reorder it. Legend did indeed impress me; Oompa I haven't had.

Svoemesto or Hanna should invent a juice feeder where all you have to do is screw the bottle straight from the vendor on the bottom of it. Kinda like those Miracle Grow sprayers. :)

If this last order I got (pink water) is indicative of what is to be expected of Dragon's Fire, it is a vortex it sucks so hard! I am diggin' on Gollum though. But, I'll dig on it until this bottle is empty and then I'll move on with nothing but good memories.

I don't try to describe Dragons Fire. I just hand it over to whoever is curious and let them figure it out. It usually results in them placing a multiple bottle order of it..

It is by far the largest stash of NET's that I've ordered since I discovered NET's and almost an ADV for me.

BJ, recommendations from me FWIW (no NET Club card member):

HHV - Dragons Fire

MOV - Apache

The two juices could not be further apart from a scale of strength, flavour, impact or "cleanliness". Yet, I have atleast 6 bottles of each on hand. The MOV bottles are 30ml and the HHV bottles are 50ml.

I think I've mentioned before that Apache has become a staple for me on my Pipes, right?! Pretty sure I have.

First problem I have heard about DF. Dust, have you heard of this? Dust is another DF aficionado. I think your pink DF has more to do with QC than consistency. I'd be making a phone call on that one.

Now, HHV and QC...that's also an issue. Let's just say at times they've had issues there too. HHV is a classic case of a vendor going through massive growing pains. I know Adam has delayed many new releases because he wanted to get what he had right. It's ongoing (apparently). And while we can get mad at Wlad for restricting hours/customers his decision was to do that before he bit off more than he can chew. That's why it never upset me that he did that.

Have you tried making..... Apache Fire?

I'm not one to mix two juices I already love, but you do have enough to experiment. Might result in a vapegasm heard here in the states.

Mr. Mann,

There is NO WAY that is Dragons Fire. There has to be a labeling mistake or something. Here's a shot of my 08/15 Dragons Fire that has been steeping in my juice closet.

FYI, this is 12MG. I would expect the 24MG to be darker.

I would call Adam about this. He'll make it right for sure.. Send him our two pictures are a comparison.

Don't mind the clear label. Us Internationals get those so that they don't get picked off in Customs.

Sorry if I haven't read the answer that I am about to ask, but have you tried Patriot? Sharron, I think Vita Bella NEEDS to be dripped. It's not an exciting flavor, but it is sultry and seductive. You need to get up close and personal with it. That said, I got burnt out on it and haven't vaped it in more months than I can count. But, originally, it was the lick. WHo knows, maybe I wouldn't like it so much now, but I won't be finding out any time soon.

Haven't tried patriot.. I usually lean towards tobacco that is blended with another flavor rather than straight up. I actually did drip the VB, but it was in one of those pesky 510 attys that seem to despise me so.. I have some 28g kanthal in transit and a Phoenix-ish type thing here.. so hopefully i'll get a to try it on a cotton microcoil soon.

I'd rather not be able to get a juice than to waste my money (and have my money taken) on an impostor with the same label. Just sayin'. B.Juicy hasn't been able to get Maple Burley, right? That sucks too. But imagine if he got it and it was weaker than Maple House Blend. That wouldn't suck. No. It's the opposite of sucking. That blows!

I'd rather have nothing than buy something that's nothing.

But anyway, I miss Apache. LOL

A labeling mistake, an incorrect amount of this or that, either which way, I got some crap. That's it. I thank you for that pic though, Dusty. I feel good knowing that I am not crazy.
