Mr.Mann asked me once if I could really taste much tobacco in Gandalf, and I was unsure. Not anymore. I taste a lot of tobacco in Gandalf now.

I guess I do not taste as much tobacco in Gandalf (relative to Serendipity) unless you consider that popular cherry flavored pipe tobacco tobacco (yes tobacco spelled out twice). Just not sure what to think at this point.

VENDOR: Heather's Heavenly Vapes
LIQUID: Shadowfax, 18mg, 70%PG, shipped on 26 September, received 9 October, vaped at 3.7 volts in a 1.8 ohm DCC
THOUGHTS: This is instructive to vape so soon after the Vaperite Madagascar. VR was rich and sweet, Shadowfax is also sweet but "drier". I don't know if I am influenced by the very accurate description on another thread of "powdered donuts", but it is true:D It is a mild, approachable, likeable vape. I cannot imagine anyone disliking Shadowfax but I don't think anyone will go crazy gaga over it either. I like it. The tobacco is very smooth. I suspect that after proper steeping this might just be the answer to my secret wish of an E-liquid equivalent to the old Camel Turkish Royal analogs I used to smoke. When I could find them.

EDITED TO ADD: Something else interesting about Shadowfax: while the cat at Rancho Scarf-Ace is usually pretty apathetic about my vapes, she seems to LOVE the smell of Shadowfax. Take that for what it's worth.

 I am crazy gaga over it -- but only after it's steeped a few weeks. :D

Your kitty has excellent taste in vapes!

Eleanor, I stand corrected. What I meant to say was, in my opinion, this is a very middle-of-the-road flavour. Nothing to offend. It's not "love it or loathe it". You know what I mean.
I am glad you are crazy gaga over it:) Maybe I will be too. I have only spent a day with it so far.

Serendipity, on the other hand, couldn't be any better if it had been hand-delivered to my house by Viggo Mortensen :p

And W2V does an excellent sampler pack with a free atty refresher too - 10 different flavors, and you can double up on 1 or 2 if you don't see 10 different ones that leap out at you. I've just started with the Morley selection. Don't know why I started with that one, as I ordered the usual suspects - Alcazar, Blondie, Cold Infusion, Red Pirate, Tabac, and ahem.. Ecoberry.

I lust received my samples from W2V today. The 10 item sampler, all but Mountain Brew and Creamy Expresso were tobacco flavors. I almost dripped myself into a stupor... tabak and cold infusion, yumyum. I also got a 30ml of Louisville and London. Was I supposed to steep these Vapenstein blends because I dripped the louisville but as soon as I tried the London, it was "omg, I have to fill a carto/tank now!"

I'm looking forward to my ahlusion bluegrass burley but I'm beginning to think I should've picked DD if it's similar to London.

WOW! Definitely a big hit! (i LOVE the Geiko piggie btw). If you're vaping London, then DD is definitely worthy of your consideration! So happy to hear you're enjoying them so thoroughly.

ok cannot remember does gej patriot and apple cured need to steep ? and how long ?

They're both good right out of the bottle, but I'd give them at least a couple of weeks to reach maturity. If you vape Apple Cured out of the mail, you will mostly taste fresh green apple, but the tobacco doesn't come forward until later. Patriot is decent out of the mail, but kind of muted until it steeps fully.
