I had my first NET.com yesterday, 3 Crown (aged 7-8 days) and I was overall impressed especially with its full-blown cigar aroma including aged wrapper goodness. This is the closest to a real tobacco experience I came with vaping so far! I have a feeling that this'll age pretty well...

I vaped about 2 ml of it in two days. I took the coil assembly out (Triton tank) to clean the tank, and I just couldn't pull out the coil wick easily to wash it. Well it was completely blackened around the coil and got stuck to it. I ended up shredding the wick. So I'll have to use a new head now. I guess I should have just washed it without pulling the wick and then let it soak in alcohol to soften things up.

The blackened wick might also explain some of the harshness I was getting. Either that and/or it'll just get smoother over time.

For those who drip with RBAs and/or use better setups like Kayfun Lite, does it also take 1-2 mL of similar NET juice for you to need to clean, dry burn or just rebuild your coils?

In a rush, I also tried Big Spirit and Chris' Blend, however with kind of sub par set up. The coil in the with Big Spirit was recently washed and the wicks were not fully dry. I kept getting gurgling sounds and not much taste. Similar situation with Chris' Blend, recently half-filled tank with not enough time to get the wicks saturated. Luckily, I'm getting new coils in the mail pretty soon...

I'm back to the Halo "tobacco" sampler juices this weekend...It'll be an interesting experience after the HHV NET samplers and the 3-Crown! I'd like give NET.com goodies some more time to steep and also be prepared with extra coils here.

Thanks.

Now, finally, in good news...

I did finally get to try Grandpas Night Cap compliments of Bronze. I am really enjoying it. To me it tastes like a mix of Louisville, Organic 1, and Black Cavendish. Substantial TH with. Very smooth finish. Smoky goodness too. Bit has that Louisville campfire thing with the added depth of a smoky Cav and the almost sweet flavorful richness of organic 1. Tasty. The real miracle of this juice is the absolutely PERFECT amount am balance of the cavendish. The body, sweetness, an smokiness of the Cav without the funk, and as such it really blends nicely and fades in the mix on exhale. Masterful. This might push me to bump QNJ to first on the list since I need to try ourwhy ASAP anyways.

I don't like it at all. Artibaccos have some common taste, maybe the thing many refer to as "nutty" that I find severely off putting. It wasn't horrible as, say, Tampa, and I did get the cigar like flavor in there, but it started to gross me out overall. I dumped it.

It's a NET, made from Cuban tobacco leaves. Doesn't mean it's any good lol, just that it's not an arti. Virginia Prime, Eden, and Guevara worked much better for me. Virginia Prime is really leafy, I can see you possibly enjoying it.

You must MUST try their fire-cured too. Fire In The Hole is maybe what it got named? The Turkish and vanilla NETs are great too.

Hey, sweet, glad someone else digs that one. I've been vaping it heavy the last few days and like it quite a bit.
Jerms, does this Chai Tea Latte from MOV has a LOT of cinnamon? I have tried a few that did, can't take it if too cinnamon but this is one I might like to try......

Well, it does have noticable cinnamon, not sure if it would be considered a lot. I've avoided cinnamon in vapes, partially because of a horrible one I tried early on (cinnamon candy type vape), but mainly because I just wasn't that interested. So I have almost no experience with vaping cinn, but this vape shows me I can like it quite a bit. It doesn't provide any hot sensation like cinnamon gum or candy (and the vape I had before), just the flavor. It's at about the same level as cinnamon in a chai latte that includes it.

I've never smoked tobacco grown in Cuba. I've had cigars with Dominican tobacco grown with Cuban seeds though. Tasted like, well, I don't have much cigar experience so it just tasted like a good cigar lol. Cigarillos Naturales doesn't taste like a good cigar to me.

The "closest I've had to an analog" discussion comes up quite a bit in this thread. Honestly the closest I have had is one of those stupid overpriced NJOY kings disposables. Obviously not an NET, but it tasted pretty close to a cigarette IMO. Thing is I only had that one, because while it tasted like a cigarette, it didn't taste good. I would much rather have a complex pipe/cigar style NET. Anyway, just sayin'.

Ha! for the record, Evil Speakers is the name of one of my favorite songs. dgmcferrin meant nothing at all, that's why I decided to change it.

BTW, How much are you enjoying this MU game?

Lot of game left to play but if the Tigers pull this one off it will be HUGE!!! Looking good so far.

I am sure you have already picked these out of this thread, but I'll post anyways.

The unofficial, incomplete 'cut to the chase' list

Want 2 Vape: the signature series

GEJ: organic 1, natural Perique, patriot, analog

NETCOM: black cavendish, Balkan, big spirit, and the single leaf varietals

QNJ: grandpa's nightcap (I am trying for first time tonight!!!)

Ahlusion: Blue Grass Burley, Devil Dog!

MOV: Apache

Thanks for taking the time to draw up that list, BJ. There are a couple that weren't on mine and will be added.

BJ and MM, W2V is a ways down my list due to reports here of coil fouling, but L'ville is definitely there.
NETcom is on order it was second in line due to the reviews and it's extracts (single leaf). Then to Ahlusion, again per reviews, but also due to reports of deminished coil fouling.

You time and efforts ARE appreciated.

Johni, yep, I've got a list. :)

P.S. Sorry about failing to give your quotes proper credit, but I can't figure out how to do so.

Lol, funny analogy. But Nick from GeJ (like any other vendor) sells products they believe is good to go with maybe needing a couple weeks at the most. To him it's good early, and it's the same for me and a few others.

Nothing NEEDS a long steep, but some juices come along that many people prefer them after they change with age, and they get to be known as long steepers. The good news is, if someone doesn't like Vita much it changes quite a bit so they may like it later. I notice a difference in flavor from fresh to old Vita, but not to the extent others do. Steeping is another thing related to vaping that people have differing experiences with.

I practice, vape it until I like it, and if after a while I don't then move on. But I always give a juice a fair chance, meaning trying it on occasion several times and giving it time to age before deciding on it. If I truly hate something, then it's easy to figure out quick it's not for me. If I love it right away, there's a chance that may change too. Often I'm indifferent though, then further investigation is needed. As long as it's vapable, the juice has until the end of the bottle to convince me it's worth having again.

Once again, apologies for failing to properly quote.

This is a sticky wicket I should have just avoided. GeJ was the first store I bought from after Evo, due to it's reputation and availability of NETs. Just because his juices don't satisfy "my" palate is no reflection on the quality of his product. Just because I don't like wine doesn't mean that I can't recognize and give credit to good wine. VB was one of the juices that I thought sounded representative of GeJ that I bought a couple of weeks ago. Evidently when I tried it, it made no impression on me because after reading about it here, I looked in my juice box to see if I had it. It was over in the "juices to vape if I run out of first choices" corner along with Gorilla Juice and Dakota. But it was NOT in the "swill" corner with Marachino. It is by no means "bad", just meh, very meh to me, especially compared to Patriot, Organic or even GJ4. If I hadn't read the comments here, I would not have given it a second thought. In spite of my being smartass cute with the comment, I really do wonder why vendors don't steep some juices prior to shipping when there seems to be so many people raving about how good a juice is once it is steeped. I can only agree with you and guess that Nick? at GeJ doesn't see/taste a difference.

Once again, I found Organic to be very, very good, just not for me. I'm just not a big burley type (yes, I know: "Uh, you're not into burley? are you sure you're really interested in tobacco?"

Leaving that wide open.

Anybody remember MyVapeJuice? We talked about them a lot for a bit, as the vendor has some cool concepts and jumped into the NET world with some really cool sounding juices. The MVJ discussions have faded to almost nil; the flavors ended up not clicking right for most of the regulars, many finding them dull or too dirty. Well, maybe it's time for us to check them out again.

I've included part of an email I got with two things talked about; new juices and different extraction methods being used. I'm very excited about this. The new pipe tobacco offered is called Centurion. It's "light tan in color and has a good basic tobacco flavor with a slight grassy twang to it". The "light tan color" tells me she's improved the extraction for a much cleaner juice (all were almost black before). For cigar fans... OMG! Just check out the cigars she's starting with and ALL the info in the descriptions!

Here's part of the email...

Hello everyone,

We have been very very busy at MyVapeJuice and just released an entire new product line "NATURALLY EXTRACTED CIGARS." Our intentions are to offer more and more as time passes and continue to offer them in DIY and VG VAPES as well. Eventually they will make it into our "Steeped to Perfection" Line as well!

I am using different extraction methods now and the results are a much more refined flavor. This has been one of my main goals. I am looking for an extraction that keeps all the notes, both highs and lows. I feel we are definitely on the right track and I am sure as time passes we will continue to hone this skill.
