Mother:censored:!

I just killed my last Vmod bottle. It develops little hairline stress fractures near the shoulder underneath the threads, probably from the stress of screwing it in and out. I think it's just the small ones...I've never heard of this being a problem with the XL bottles, probably because there is more purchase to grab onto them.

This is a real bummer. Thankfully I've got spare bottles en route from a kind NTer, but if I had known this would be such a perpetual issue I would have seriously reconsidered the Vmod in the first place.

Gently rescuing the 4mls of Vurley I just filled it with...

That's totally weird. I'm still using the same squonk bottle on my 2.0 that I got last August, and I've never worn one out. I wonder what the deal is. Maybe tightening them down too tight or squonking them too hard, or maybe they went with a cheaper material on the bottles since then? That sucks, Scarf.

Has anyone re-upped Patriot lately? I JUST got an order in ~2 hours ago. It's WAY darker and stronger flavored (which I really like!) than even my last bottle of 45 days aged Patriot. Is this just part of the process of cold maceration? Made in 'batches' so the end is much more steeped? It's as dark as one month Smooth Criminal, just not as red. Actually, more like Gold Rising.

Oh, and I just got all 5 flavors of five pawns. I'm drinking right now, so I don't think they'd go well together. So I'll just hold out. And I just ordered 2 125ml jugs of Mad Murdoch Agent Orange. :D

Got my 2 week old Patriot out and compared to 2 month old and you are right. I didn't notice it when I got it, just shook it a few times and threw in the drawer. We probably should tell Nick so if it was a mistake, he will continue to make it this way in the future. Good catch Shatner.

LOL. I am the Bottle Murderer, apparently. I have gone through four bottles since I got the blasted thing in March...slightly more than one bottle a month

I don't squonk that hard, and I screw it in juuuuuust tightly enough that there is a bit of resistance. I even put a rubberband around the bottle so that I could get a firmer grip, and not have to twist it side-to-side. No dice. Maybe it is a cheaper material.

For the moment I am using your "squonkless" method, but I'm keeping it indoors because it looks a little...strange. Bottles hopefully won't be too long.

I like it WAY more this way. Would you mind shooting him an email? I'm still busy with work.

Also. I got my bottles of Five Pawns today. I've only had Grandmaster so far. The flavor with peanut butter, waffle and caramel. OMG, it is divine!! I won't always have it on hand due to price and I'd end up vaping it too much. But I think I'll get it at least once a year for my Birthday present to myself. I smell real peanut butter right now.

If you have the means, I thoroughly recommend picking one up.

Is it possible a 1.5 ohM carto on a 3.7 v pipe is too hot for W2V Paris? I am getting a weird taste on the new Paris, but I dont know if it is the juice because I have never vaped it before. At first I had a dud carto...it happens. Then I tried another our of the same box and I am getting "that taste." Yeah, it is definitely not the taste of the juice...it is the burnt up coil taste we all know and despise. Is it the 1.8oHm on 3.7 v just too hot for Paris ( I have never had this issue with a juice before)? Possibly back to back dud cartos? help! Thoughts?

I would say that's the perfect wattage for a true flavor.

Yeah, sounds like you're doing everything right. Must be cheaper bottles. Well, here's to the squonkless method, in all its depilatory glory (not that I'm suggesting you need it)!

Paris is really gunky. I wouldn't put in anything but an RDA.

Yeah, sounds like some burnt carto filler or something. Paris is gruff, but not that gruff. I wonder if a little air bubble got trapped in there or something.

In related Five Pawns news, this happened today. One of the partners at Five Pawns and I have been nagging the company president about attempting a NET. Considering the complexity and quality of its current lineup, I think Five Pawns could do something special with tobacco. Right now, the president doesn't seem interested, but hopefully he can be convinced. He was very surprised by the quality of Ahlusion Sweet Georgia Peach when I let him try mine, so perhaps that will give him some ideas of what a tobacco e-liquid can be.

OH, crap. It's going to take me 8-14 weeks to get the lower receivers I need for the full auto MP5 builds. *sigh* At least I have all of the AR parts except the suppressors.

Mother ....er!!!! The suppressors I needed for all the MP5s and 5 of 7 for the ARs are on backorder. For ~8 months. I guess the 8-10 month ATF wait can be a good thing. But damnit!!! Now I'll have that hanging over my head fro 8 months instead of just finishing them and leaving them in the safe. FUUUUUUUU!

Show him NET.com and he may see that there is, indeed, a HUGE market to be tapped! Hell, even a light hand of in house TA would be awesome!

When is Castle Reserve going to be released? I just went to their site to try to order a bottle, but no go. What's it taste like?

Perhaps during my next visit, I'll bring a bunch of NETs for him to try. Maybe that will "inspire" him.

I believe the official release is next week. I haven't tried this bottle yet, but I vaped a bunch of an earlier version. The official description lists coconut, toasting almond, French vanilla, vanilla bean, and bourbon as the flavors. What I tasted the most in the early version I had was the toasted almond, vanilla, and bourbon. I wasn't really getting the coconut. However, that version was definitely delicious and I'm looking forward to this one.

Ok, so Gambit, Absolute Pin (never thought absinthe and caramel would work together- I was very wrong!) and Queenside are my favorites.

The absinthe is a bit much for me in Absolute Pin, but the juice is very well done. My top three for Five Pawns are Gambit, Queenside, and Grandmaster.

I think taking some of A+'s aros like SC and some aros like Vurley and SGP. Also maybe some HHV NETs incase sweet is more his thing, which seems like it with their current line up.

I'll be keeping my eye out for the new flavor. Although I've drastically overblown my July vape budget; it'll have to wait until August unless I can sneak some time in the glass shop.
