Ok, as you guys and gals know, I'm a NETizen through and through. But holy cow, 5Pawns Grandmaster (peanut butter, caramel and waffle) goes SOOO good with coffee. Black Ethiopian coffee, to be specific.

Johnni, can you email GeJ today and ask about Patriot and that we like it more this way. I'm still busy as hell with this gun order. But I did find an MP5 on the machine gun registry. But it's in bad shape and they still want $15k for it. And it's a 10mm, so I'd have to rechamber it, which is NOT easy with an MP5. I don't even know if I can find a 9mm bolt.

And I thought being a glass artist was stressful. At least my gun custties understand that things take time.

My bottle of Patriot is ~6 weeks old and has a medium Amber/Carmel color, that is about two or three shades darker than when it first arrived.

This is fresh and it looks like dark honey or even 6 week steeped Smooth Criminal. And it has WAY more flavor than the last month aged bottle I had. I have a feeling that he makes a huge vat of it.

Oh, and Clay from NET.com definitely reads this thread. After I jokingly said he should release them to us pre-order placers as a type of 'beta', he emailed me about 5 minutes later explaining that he wasn't expecting this much interest. Obviously seems like a good business plan and I wish him the absolute best.

Hi Clay! :vapor:

Has anyone re-upped Patriot lately? I JUST got an order in ~2 hours ago. It's WAY darker and stronger flavored (which I really like!) than even my last bottle of 45 days aged Patriot. Is this just part of the process of cold maceration? Made in 'batches' so the end is much more steeped? It's as dark as one month Smooth Criminal, just not as red. Actually, more like Gold Rising.

Got my 2 week old Patriot out and compared to 2 month old and you are right. I didn't notice it when I got it, just shook it a few times and threw in the drawer. We probably should tell Nick so if it was a mistake, he will continue to make it this way in the future. Good catch Shatner.

Sent PM to Nick last night. Will post his reply.

Thanks!!! I'm freaking swamped with work.

Here's a 1911 I'm working on, though. Nothing too special. Commander sized Mil-Spec (cheapest Springfield 1911):

Rear sight is off in the pic. It's since fixed.

Here's a list of things I did:

1. Novak style low mount rear sight with 2 green dot tritium inserts
2. Dovetail front sight with green tritium insert
3. Lightweight aluminum trigger
4. Extended ambidextrous thumb safety
5. Flat checkered mainspring housing (ILS)
6. Beavertail grip safety
7. Skeletonized delta factory hammer
8. Standard carry bevel of sharp edges
9. Deburr pistol internally
10. Tune extractor & ejector
11. Recut barrel throat; polish feed ramp
12. Titanium firing pin with heavy duty firing pin spring
13. 4.5 lb. trigger job
14. VZ Grips
15. Refinish flat black
16. Fit match bull barrel
17. 11* re crown
18. Inspect & test fire for function

I have over 24 hours in to it. Almost finished, though.

If y'all don't want me posting guns just let me know. I'm aware that not everyone is a fan. I personally love the machine and engineering that goes in to them.

I have no personal issues with machinery of any kind.

However, the moderators may have some concerns about guns being posted in a ecig thread. My only concern would be the potential of closing this thread.

Rusty, or any other mod... Is it cool? I'm a legit gunsmith with a current FFL Type 7 (manufacturing) with a "Class 3" or "SOT" waiver, so suppressors and machine guns are legal for me. But I prefer not to post NFA items online.

The closing could come from off topic posts as opposed to the content itself I would think.

I'm with you CW. I like Shat's pix because I enjoy guns too (not to the extent Shat does though). Unfortunately, guns are controversial so not sure we want this thread to go there. Your call Shat.

So I finally loaded up some Apache and vaped about 1.0 ml today. I have to say, Apache is identical to QnJ's Habana Daydream. There isn't much (if any) difference between the two. Apache might be ever-so-slightly stronger but for all intents and purposes, it's the same stuff IMO. I like it. :)

I'm still puzzled at the lack of awareness about QnJ's NET offerings. They've been around awhile.

I'll refrain from the pics until I get an answer from a mod.

I'm really digging this 'new' Patriot. I just ordered 2 more bottles and one of GJ4. I the notes I mentioned that we noticed and, if possible, to fill my 2 30mls with the darkest juice. Lol.

GeJ needs to get on the ball and offer 60, 90 and 120ml jugs. Buying multiple 30s sucks.

Just for the record Shat, it doesn't bother me. I rather enjoy it. And a mod might not have any issues with it either (I'm an ECF subforum mod and I don't). But I know there are other threadsters who do. They just don't like guns. I'm just thinking that might be one topic best left somewhere else (sadly). Not that an occasional mention would hurt anything. Just not as a discussion staple if you know what I mean. :)

I just don't see the point. Aren't there gun forums where people will understand and care about what you're posting? We all have non-ecig interests, but don't discuss them at length on this forum -- because its supposed to be about e-liquids.

I'm an Airgunsmith and while I appreciate well machined parts and all, I think it best to keep this interest to the specific forum for that interest.

I think Dusty is on vacation. I have no moral qualms with guns, but as an occasional reader/contributor to this thread, I have a hard enough time keeping up with it as it is. While it's nice that we all get to know each other better and find common interests, too much off-topic posting makes it difficult for people who just come here to learn more about NETs. This is a public forum and we have an obligation to keep it on-topic as much as possible.

I didn't know you dig the super aggressive/authentic bacco vapes Bronze. I haven't had Habana Daydream yet so I can't compare, but will definately order it.

Have you had Devil Dog from Ahlusion yet? Extremely similar vapes, there are differences but they're fairly subtle. If you like one you'll probably like the other, but may have a slight preference to one. Same with London from Want2Vape.

It is very very very very similar. I like both.

For me, the exhale is slightly different between them
