I found it to be very nutty...almost 555-like. Maybe that's what you mean by the spicy top dressing? It is wholly different to QnJ's Hump Back. Not even close to the same flavor.

I get more of a ginger-like flavor than anything else. I wonder if the formula is still being developed and improved? That would explain the different descriptions of color and taste.

I am so out of the loop, I imagine that Hump Back is the Turkish form QnJ? The reason it doesn't taste anything like Sahara is because Sahara is designed to be a Turkish-esque juice, with an emphasis on the perception of a cig (with some natural and artificial ingredients), and QnJ's v1 is all natural, though v2 may have some arti-tweaks.

You would be correct. Hump Back is the new turkish from QnJ. Actually, Sahara wasn't too bad. I thought it had a very bold flavor. Ginger, creamy, nutty, etc...are all good adjectives. I actually enjoyed it initially and thought, FINALLY! An Ahlusion I relly dig. Then after about 20 minutes it sort of went flat for me. Looks like it is 6+ weeks old.

Nice to see you MM. :)

Yeah, Hump Back is QnJ Turkish. I'm hoping V2 will be somewhere between Sahara and V1, where the natural flavors still come through clearly but with a boosted taste of the volatile spice flavors that are released when Turkish tobacco is lit and burning hot.

You could always just mix the two. If I still had HB and Sahara I would do just that--though I do like both of them individually.

I'm about out of both, but if I mixed them it would be something like 1 drop Sahara to 10ml Hump Back. The Sahara is enjoyable in itself, but it doesn't remind me of a cigarette at all, or tobacco for that matter. It seems like the type of flavoring that would be used in extremely minute quantities to lightly top tobacco.

It's public knowledge that besides tobacco, the main Top Dressing flavors for Camel cigarettes are Brown Sugar, Cocoa, and Licorice Root, and Sahara doesn't taste like those either. I can't put my finger on what that main flavor in Sahara is, but I know it from somewhere. It's not German made Tabanon, tastes nothing like that either. That would be more authentic to Turkish tobacco.

I've been vaping Sahara Blend all morning (thanks Chohan) and once again it doesn't fit my profile. There must be something wrong with me because I just cannot get into Ahlusion juices. I know I am one of the few.

The good news is that it's super-easy to trade because there are so many Ahlusion marks in here! Hmmmm, all this talk of Sahara makes me want to vape some. I can definitely say that this is the fastest I've gone through a 60ml bottle of any e-liquid. Ha!

I am not a Turkish/oriental guy either.

So I have to eat some crow on DD! I tried it at 1 week and the spicy Latakia was too dominant. It was good, but only in small doses and not frequently. Last night I pried myself off the BWB Unicorn Milk and fired up a month old dog. Wow. It has really smoothed out. The spice factor has learned to play nicely with others and this has become a more tolerable, well balanced, exceptional vape. It eclipses Patriot...and now funky Paris, which I still love, as my #1 analog vape for driving and other ciggie cravings! I have vaped it exclusively all morning. It may get a dedicated tank and custom tip for my cigar mod.

All right. Just got my new K100 and Phoenix V4 RDA, both in black. All cleaned up and I am dripping some Heavenly Army to test the waters!

Wow, it really does brings out the flavors. And the smoke stack it produces with such a teeny, tiny airhole is amazing! I had a bit of gurgling at first, then realized I had the air hole facing towards me/down. Duh! Turned it around and the gurgling went away. Still trying to gauge how many drops... but it seems to last.

The Phoenix V4 doesn't look too pretty on the K100, since there is a gap at the 510 connection and the RDA is a tad smaller. At least it is color coordinated.

With the RDA, I'm getting all of the creamy tobacco, less of the graham notes but more of the chocolate sweetness -- it really brings out the sweetness!

It's so darn tiny, though! and the screws are microscopic. Luckily there's holes in the posts. My eyesight is not what it used to be.

I'm liking my new toys. Time to clean it out and bring in the Goodejuice NETs.

I get something synthetic going on with Sahara too. Just that one and Cubanito have I gotten that with Ahlusion so far though. I've yet to try any house blend or rivertree, so maybe I'll find that in more. I don't mind a synthetic addition if it's meant to alter the profile in a NET, but I can see that not flying with someone else.

And with that it succeeds admirably, in my opinion. Not just a cig, but a specific cig. One that you can choose to sleep near the camel, near the pyramid, or just go around the block to stay in a hotel.

Awesome! Glad you're digging your new toys! Glad you got a version of the ERA clone with the holes in the posts, easier to rebuild. Feel free to make the air hole a tad bit bigger if you want, but a little goes a long ways. And like you learned, that hole can't be pointing down lol.

A little tip to lessen the gap between the mech and the topper. For all telescoping mods, screw the topper down first and then screw down the mod to the battery. The pin floats a little bit. There still may be a gap, but not as much.

Yeah, it's the little things. Will be using a needle bottle someone PIF'd to me in the future for the dripping. I saw that "floating pin" on one of the videos; the RDA is still smaller than the top... The gap doesn't bother me too much. Aesthetics is not as important as vape quality.

The vapor production is already great, so I see no need to make the air hole larger. The flavor is there, and that's more important, and it kicks the throat hit.

The k100 is a solid piece of metal and with an 18650 in there is heavier than my MVP.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and advice.
