And with that it succeeds admirably, in my opinion. Not just a cig, but a specific cig. One that you can choose to sleep near the camel, near the pyramid, or just go around the block to stay in a hotel.

I recently smoked a Camel and let me just say, Camels don't even taste like how I perceive a Camel.

I've been vaping Sahara Blend all morning (thanks Chohan) and once again it doesn't fit my profile. There must be something wrong with me because I just cannot get into Ahlusion juices... I much prefer QnJ's Hump Back for it's authenticity...

No apologies necessary, you might not like any juices from a popular Vendor after sampling a variety of juices, it's happened to us all. I may feel that way with HHV, too many added flavor notes & not enough straight tobaccos, but I do enjoy a vape of Serendipity or their Peach Green Tea on occasion. When I do like the multiple flavor notes with tobacco, Mountain Oak Vapors hits the mark; Southern Gentleman, Full Virgina Flake and Pendragon.

My preferred NET Vapes are Straight, in your face, Tobaccos closer to Louisville, Paris or High Brow Tobacco Exotic. Other times it's Tobacco and an addition of Vanilla, Hazelnut or Cigar/ Pipe Blend; Vape Rite & QnJ hit it for me, and occasionally Acadia Gold or Natural Perique from Goodejuice.

Jerms, I tried my first MOV (Apache) and was duly impressed.

A 30ml in the Steep Box :pop:

I truly believe there is something more wrong with me than the juice. :)

Not at all, you do like Proudest Monkey, mine's still steeping

I found it to be very nutty...almost 555-like. Maybe that's what you mean by the spicy top dressing? It is wholly different to QnJ's Hump Back. Not even close to the same flavor.

If the Sahara is 555-like I'd be happy... wished I could have waited two more weeks on my QnJ order, guess Hump Back will be at the top of my list.

But man, I need a flashlight on my forehead trying to drip into a skinny, tiny atomizer that's black!

Can I get some light in here!:blink::glare:

I habve a Black RDA Octopus... I feel your pain!

I get something synthetic going on with Sahara too...

Is it synthetic or closer to TA?, which I wouldn't mind, I've experimented with Synthetic & TA Blends and like them.

The Analog Camel packs were great ice-breakers, on the aloof girls!

GeJ's Vita Bella dripped. I can taste the vanilla sweetness over the tobacco. There's also a saltiness and smokiness to it. That's part of the tobacco, which tastes strikingly familiar, it's just bolder now. Quite good.

Much more flavor than I've tasted before [of course].

Welcome to RDAs! Your Phoenix is going to be well used in a short time. :D

The good news is that it's super-easy to trade because there are so many Ahlusion marks in here! Hmmmm, all this talk of Sahara makes me want to vape some. I can definitely say that this is the fastest I've gone through a 60ml bottle of any e-liquid. Ha!

I don't get any synthetic notes from SB, but that probably just means I can't taste synthetic! I just love Sahara: it's clear to me that my 60mls is not going to even get the chance to turn a hot pink the way my sampler did. I definitely need to order more. Make that MORE. :D

Speaking of synthetics: I went and did it. Got myself on the Tribeca Train. Crikeys, I can't put this stuff down either!!

True. I smoke the occasional OP cig, and occasionally enjoy them. They all taste.. like smoke. And not in the way of "this juice has some smoky notes", instead.. this is smoky like buring tobacco scraps and paper, which it is. Fresh opened pack of cigs, especially Camels to me, sure smell nice though. Promises it can't quite fulfill.

I hear ya cluckin big chicken.

On the synthetic or TA; I don't have TA knowledge. I have had juices with a touch of TA alongside synthetic or NET, but no TA juice like what Moondrop and Mom&Pop offer. I can say Sahara makes me think synthetic in feel, but not an arti-bacco flavor I've had before. If not synthetic bacco, some type of flavoring added to the NET that makes it play like it does.

Yo.. Di.. Wh.. Sh.. damn it. The replies I want to make would all get me slapped lol.

Tribeca does rule. I thought RY4s tastes like dirty sock to you?

It's so much easier for me not to order stuff when not being constantly reminded. Oy vey. Sahara and Tribeca coming right up. Thanks, Lady E. :glare:

GoodEJuice's Wild Turkey has more than 1 note now! Yea!

The plain, palm flavor is still there, but now I can taste a spicier top note. Once again, I get a saline quality in there. The high grassy note at least stays in the background now, while on my other devices was lead note. The satliness lingers a bit as an aftertaste with the dry leafy notes. It is a dry tobacco, but the flavor does crank up with on the coils. It's actually quite nice now.

The atomizer saved Wild Turkey from oblivion for me! I can see growing fond of it even. Not in the WOW category like Organic or Vita Bella, but nice enough to get my analog fix.

While enjoying Acadian Gold and Vita Bella this week, I wondered why I let myself run out of these juices. Today it hit me. Just as you are, I'm running these on RDAs that I didn't have when I originally tried them. I remember posting that I thought most GeJ juices would benefit from more heat (wattage). Now I can just coil one up to optimum for the juice.:) Better gear has increased my appreciation for the House Brewed line (and others).

Amazing, isn't it. I should have bought an atomizer months ago, but didn't feel like the mess (and it is messy).

But now I want an IGO-L or something slightly larger :)

While bigger, the IGO L won't offer a lot more. I agree with Jerms that the smaller atomizer chambers offer better flavor, although your wick and coil have more to do with vape quality than anything else. I'm really liking the IGO S. Great little atty and inexpensive.

If you're considering dual coils, look for an atomizer with three posts and dual air holes. I really enjoy the Phoenix v5 with 3 posts, dual air holes, and adjustable air flow, all in a relatively small chamber.

Once you get used to RDAs, you can run one with little or no mess.

Yes, it's a learning curve.

I'm loving the flavor and TH with the V4, and the vapor is nothing to be ashamed about :) It's just hard to see inside to drip (the black coating is the culprit, I know. If it was SS, I probably wouldn't have a problem. But hey, it was free :)

Dual coils? I need to work on single coils first :)

Wrangler LIGHT is fantastic in the dripper. I am actually getting the cocoa notes, and not just a slight hint of vague sweetness that I had previously. It just went from being plain, to being above average and very enjoyable. The Phoenix V4 really kicks up the sweetness level, as well as the nicotine. That's the spiciness I feel on the tongue. Not so much a flavor as a sensation. And these bottles from GeJ all run 32ml nic :glare:

If anyone here still smoke Silverthorn (from Johnson Creek), ...what's the best device to smoke it in?

Anyone ever try it in the AGA (+, T2) RBA??? If so , how does it perform?

I love this flavor a lot, but it reeks havoc on most atomizers. I'm willing to move over to the AGA (#400 SS Mesh wicks, Kanthal 30 or 32) if it would mean easier cleaning, and a longer lasting atomizer.

I've been reading this thread for reference in my next tobacco juice purchase.

Any recommendations for a cigalike juice, non-menthol, non-marlboro, perhaps Camel or VS type tobacco? Someone suggested Hangsen (?) Desert Ship. Closest I've come is The Plume Room's M-Type. I'm looking for the cigarette-smoking experience.

I've tried some really good tobaccos (Ahlusion - Smooth Criminal, Honey Cured, still steeping JG Blend/The Plume Room - Candied Cavendish, M-Type, waiting for Honey Fig in the mail/AiV - Pear Ship). These are very good vapes, but I need something to replace my urge to smoke when it hits.

Thanks for the info here!

Flowerpots, in M-Type by the Plume Room you already have the alpha and omega of cigaretteness. I only have two other recommendations, both from Want2Vape. Morley (gross, nasty ashy analog) and Paris (REALLY gross nasty analog with the added benefit of lingering inextricably in your favorite atomizer). Both of those should satisfy (and quite possibly overcome) your cig-juice cravings. :)
