I would love to see a review of NET.COM's Yesteryear. The picture accompanying the ad is what looks to be a Joya De Nicaragua Antano belicoso, one of my all time favorite cigars. In the mean time i will go ahead and place an order and stop procrastinating. Cold macerated 70/30 at 24 mg should be just about right.

Currently vaping M&P's 10forty

Nothing wrong with Kuba Kuba! The analog Kuba Kuba is one of the most popular cigars in the world as is the Acid Blondie.

Aint that funny..ouR whY Qua4tro is just one of a very few QnJ's I don't like. :)

People sure are different.

I don't doubt your batting average is well below .500 as mine is too. I like messing with you. I do believe, however, that your range is wider than mine. That is meant as a compliment.

One thing I have learned is that while I might not like a particular flavor, I can see where someone could. It's like a quality measure. ouR whY qua4tro, to me, is a quality vape. RY4's are just not my thing. That someone grooves on it is of no surprise to me. But then there are some juices folks like that I just do not get at all. Kuba Kuba? Really? BlueMist (any of their flavors)? Really?

I think Balkan is an incredibly good liquid and it's closest cousin is Louisville.

You have some great vaping days ahead of you if you have yet to try MOV and QNJ. I don't know if you have tried it yet, but I think you are going to love Apache for the same reasons you love Balkan and Louisville.

I said "remind me" never to take a weekend off just last week...and nobody reminded me.

Took the fam on a mini vacation to San Diego this weekend and missed 14 pages. ALMOST glad I did, as I would have a great any opinions on these topics, most of which somebody else ended up posting. I cant deal with the stress anyways and I am not opening that discussion up again. A few quick catchup notes:

FP: I SHOULD know about Granpa's Night Cap, but I do not. I have yet to try QNJ at all. I am loaded with juices right now. I tend to test vendors out on all or most of their juices and one vendor at a time. Add a few (ideally) to my rotation, then next vendor is up. On the horizon...QNJ, MOV...then Maybe I will give Gandalf/Legend a whirl. Anyone wants to send me samples (hint hint) to save me time, tops on my untried list right now incluse rwhyqua4ro, Sunday Morning, Pendragon, Legend, Grandpas...

Mr. Mann: Interested to see prime on your list. Their "Nostaligia" was the first juice I ever tried when I advanced from cigalikes, purchased with a ego c twist from my local B&M. I said I wanted a full bodied tobacco soking experience and that is what they gave me. I just tried it again recently and it is way too sweet and syrupy and artificial for me. Just out of curiosity, what is the story on Prime Vaping's tobacco juices? They say "natural tobacco" but the Nostaligia aint like any net I have ever tasted.

What else is up with me?

Goodejuice sitting in my work mailbox! The VB will not be touched for a couple months. I have experienced it at 2-6 weeks...and even vaped quite a bit last night. Now I want a well aged steep before I go back there. I also am trying the Organic #1 for first time ever as well as GJ4. I realy like RY4 so I am pretty excited. I am slowly nursing my last 60 ml of BWB RY4 to see if I can make it last. I am very curious how this stacks up. What is recommended steep on GJ4 and Organic #1?

Oh, I have Old Toby on order from Moondrop. I am cautiously excited about this, so we shall see. I ordered over a week ago and haven't heard frm them since, so am a little pissy. I will leave this at that for now.

Oh, gave an extended look at NETCOM Balkan, cold macerated. Damn good stuff. If you like DD! you will like this. Very similar, but the latakia is tempered with a much more gentle touch and the Macedonia leaf lends a robust, yet smoothe factor that I haven't tasted in a juice before. It is a dry and satisfying vape that I can take adv, whereas I burn out on DD! after a little bit. This is damn good stuff, and for pipe smpokers a fairly accurate and authentic take on a Balkan blend. It is so similar to DD...and yet so different. More approachable for sure. Also has a VERY authentic "smoke" quality that is thrilling. I really dig this and likely will keep it on hand for some time moving forward.

I have been working through the latest scarfy juices too and will review soon. Damn interesting stuff and an honor to vape.

I love this thread

I was lucky enough to get Tasty Vapor's NET tobacco from Scarfy in her clean out a few months ago and I positively like it! At first I wasn't sure if it was a NET or TA, it does have a TA-likeness to it but that might just be the oaky woody flavour of virginia.

It has great tobacco impact and falls within the same profile as those classic woodsy NET's like GEJ's Wrangler Lite and Wild Turkey.

I haven't tried a range of NET's from My Vape Juice. The only one I have tried is County Squire.

I also haven't tried anything from Prime Vaping except for the Ry4.

B.Juicy mentioning he had PrimeVaping, and me trying to remember what they were like got me to thinking--I know that this thread has its favorites, but is it possible that there are plenty of legit, tasty, just-what-you're-looking-for tobaccos out there that are undiscovered (at least by you)?

I am curious what are then NET vendors that you ("you" meaning anyone reading this that is a member of this house) have yet to try? If anything, this can possibly bring the conversation back around to, if anything, who actually is out there. We should also post some links so that if anyone is feeling stuck, adventurous or maybe just missing what they're looking for, they can just hop right over.

Considering I've had Tasty Vapor before, I am allowing myself to sample their NET. They only have two, but I am interested to see how it is. Welcome to Tasty Vapor

Description:

This is our own tobacco maceration made from Virginia/Burley/Oriental tobacco. Steeped for a week, strained, clarified and finished with a few choice additives. This is a very aromatic, natural and flavorful liquid. When ordering please keep in mind, this is NOT a concentrated flavoring, therefore, at 48mg, the tobacco taste is rather diminished. This natural product tastes its best in 24mg and lower concentrations.

Sweetener Recommended?: Good With Or Without

Recommended Steeping Time: 1 Week

It stays nasty, to be succinct. The nasty 'analog like' liquids like Morley from W2v and the tobacco range from Highbrow don't change. I was hoping they might smooth out a bit into a rich analog like vape but they retain the harshness.

Does anyone know if GeJ's House Blend gets vapable with steeping or does it stay nasty no matter what?

Hi Buffalo,

You are close on the cigar Yesteryear is extracted from. It's actually an extraction of a Joya De Nicaragua Antano 1970. Whether the belicoso is another variation in the same line or is actually the same cigar, I don't know. 'Antano' translates to 'Yesteryear' and I am guessing that is a Spanish translation.

You know this already having smoked them but for the benefit of the thread, it's a full bodied cigar that has a maduro wrapper so it would be expected that the extraction should produce a full bodied rich experience. I've only tried the liquid once or twice and not in an atty that would do it justice. I really haven't given it a lot of time but I should. I think, based on some initial tastings, the extraction doesn't quite capture the oily and bold essence of the cigar. It might have something to do with the fact that NET.com liquids are smooth and very clean (little gunking), which is a great thing, but whatever process is removing the gunk factor may also be compromising some of the richness of the full bodied cigar extractions that NET.com does. I would guess this is why their pipe tobaccos are leading the way at the site over the cigar extractions, in my opinion.

There are generally very few vendors if any, that have gotten full bodied cigars down pat and the closest would be Want2Vape with it's London, Managua and Alcazar. Those liquids are gunky but that also means more of the cigar extract is retained to capture as much of the flavour as possible. I guess it's a fine balance and trade off between clean gunk-free juice and flavour.

3-Crowns and H+ Yellow Mane don't seem to suffer the same kind of diminished flavour effect of Yesteryear though 3-Crown could be more saturated with flavour considering it too is a full bodied cigar. I would recommend getting extra extract with any NET.com cigars.

I still really enjoy Yesteryear but I would go for an extra extract next time to try and capture more of the flavour of that maduro wrapper. I would say stick it in a gen style atty to get the most of the flavour.

I get some lovely cocoa and earthiness from it, just like described on some reviews of the cigar. It's woody like a classic Nicaraguan cigar. It IS a classic Nicaraguan tobacco cigar and nothing else. The cigar is made to celebrate and showcase how good Nicaraguan tobacco is.

I really like it but I would love it if the flavour was more saturated.

I knew I would be hearing from you about Kuba Kuba.

I've enjoyed both Kuba Kuba & Habana Daydream but right now Proudest Monkey is tops... at least for now, Humpback and Gods'nilla are patiently steeping along with Fired in Georgia.

Anthony,

Thank you very much for your insights and alas I have found, as you eluded, that the real flavor is in the gunk. Without the oils (gunk) present the flavor would indeed be diminished if not lost altogether. I may have to use the 30ml I have ordered (with extra flavor) as a base to produce a hybrid and use it as you say with an atty like my Smok TT atty in an AGR tank, easy to rebuild so the gunk wouldn't be as much an issue only a minor inconvenience.

Vaping for me has morphed from a conduit for nicotine into a hobby, a quest for the perfect combination of equipment and juice. And the band played on.

Back to vaping Patriot today.

Morley I could take or leave but this House Blend is a taste bud killer!

BTW, I haven't forgotten about you Anthony. The computer doesn't want to be fixed, but I ordered an adapter for the laptop and it should be here by the end of the week. I'll pm you when all is ready.

Anthony,

Yeah, I actually have only been vaping since March. I jumped into the deep end head first so it seems like longer, but no. I still have to knock those juices off. I had to get my gear down first. I will get them soon!

Oh, and on 3 crowns, it is arguably the best and most authentic tasting cigar I have had, right up there with Managua. However, flavor wise it is too weak for me. I dont know if steeping will help or if like a couple of their aromatics it needs extra flavoring. I think my next order of 3 crowns (oh yes, it is in the rotation to stay) will be extra extract.

I received my second 30ml Vita Bella as the first remains in the Steep box since 5/25, I also purchased 30ml of Humpback, 30ml Proudest Monkey (transferred to a 50ml plastic, in a Deep Freeze) & Acadian Gold.

My work vapes have been a synthetic Turkish and Ahlusion Sarsaparilla, good and outstanding respectively.

That's all I have right now, I'm still enjoying the thread... congratulations on your Coffee Mug BJ, and I'm enjoying your reviews of NET.Com's juices.

Th coffee mug bring me JOY

I vape Ahlusion W&A sassy every single day. It is one of only 2 non-NET juices in my rotation right now, which is HIGH PRAISE. That is an absolutely fantastic liquid, period.

That's shocking considering your great tastes. I vaped mediocre and worse juices before discovering NETs. My vaping world changed forever and for better when my friend Kim introduced me to Ahlusion tobaccos. It was like when The Wizard of Oz went from black-and-white to color.
