That's the fun of their videos. Todd and Pbusardo made their first micro-coils on tape. We all got it wrong the first time, so it was nice to see others do as well. Good for the old self-esteem :) But they tried more than one approach, and both have continued on and made note in other videos on their progress. Not everyone can jump in with DrifterX skill and prefection, and yet ones first few coils will, more than likely, work. And then we strive to get better and make a better coil the next time.

Fun.. yes. I really like both Phil and Todd (especially Todd, he cracks me up). They are getting better, like you said, but I think if they would have seen one of the professional micro coil builders videos they would have gotten it perfect the first time.

To build a perfect micro by following instructions of someone who has already passed the experimental stage is, IMO, easier than the instructions offered by those who are trying to figure it out. Yes, you can follow a video of someone who does things like using way too much cotton, and then watch a video from them later when they realize it works better not to use so much.. but for a beginner, watching the correct way first is optimal. And the "correct" way to make a micro also happens to be the easiest.

Has anyone ever been vaping on a NET, say of a particular type, then switched out to a synthetic tobacco of the same type and find the synthetic feeling... thinner, i.e. of less body? Perhaps it's cleaner... but going from a NET RY4 to a synthetic one.. it feels thinner, diluted.

both are 50/50 blends.

Artis.. thinner, cleaner, sometimes bitey-er. Very much different experience from NETs.

Synthetic RY4s to me feel like a seperate thing than other arti-baccos. Often very lean (thinner) with the synthetic tobacco in the backround or playing equally with the caramel and vanilla turning into one "RY4" flavor. NET RY4s are almost always tobacco heavy; which is often the preference of NET vapers.

For NET vapers, the classic RY4s are so lean and different, it often takes time to appreciate them for what they are. But many NET vapers like me, Rpad, Bill, and Mann?, have a pretty high appreciation for them.

Actually.. the best advice for videos and rebuilding, especially if you're a visual learner, is to watch as many as you can stand. Phil's, Todd's, the ones in the micro coil thread, random videos on youtube.. etc. As far as pure, straightforward, accurate instruction for the first time someone tries, I think the one's on ECF can't be beat.

Vape mail today! Just some Samsung 18650s. Why am I excited? Anyone who's followed the latest Hong Kong shipping issues for batteries will know why. Off to work soon, have a good week-end all.

OH. MY. GOODNESS!!!

Jungle Juice, by Ahlusion. I have just now tried my Jungle Juice for the first time (30vg/70pg, about 2 weeks old). YUMMERS! The banana is distinctively there; it is a ripe and authentic banana, no "runts" flavor. The delicious tobacco base is (per Wlad and my tongue) "similar" to the tobacco used in JG Blend, but lightened up so as to let that fabulous banana shine through. It's perfect right now at 3.8 volts; when I crank it up to 4.3, the tobacco notes are stronger, but still do not overwhelm the banana. At 12mg, there is very little throat hit, but I bet at 18mg or higher TH would be definitely present.

I cannot wait to see how both this fab banana and the delicate tobacco continue to blossom! (Two weeks is hardly any steep time for a 30ml bottle of NET juice. . . )

:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::laugh:

Well, I warned you . . . :D

I can't put this Jungle Juice down . . . except to pick up my clearo of Ahlusion's incredible Bananas Foster! :D:D:D

I need a Bananas Foster NET, please! I remember a time 3 something years ago when TV's Bananas Foster was my favourite juice. :D

Okay . . mix 1 part Ahlusion Jungle Juice to 3 parts Ahlusion Bananas Foster, et voila! :D

I can't even order Ahlusion up here.. :p

No, I shall not resort to using a "mule". If a vendor chooses to limit who they sell to, so be it.. their choice.

So, my vape for most of the day today was a billherbst-inspired 2:1 Bounty Hunter/Vita Bella mix. There's an interesting synergy between these two liquids that I find most enjoyable. I suck at describing flavors but I'll give it a shot: VB cuts the sweetness of the BH and adds a more forward tobacco flavor while BH reinforces or amplifies the creamy vanilla note in VB. I'm sure there's other stuff going on as well. Anyway, if you happen to have both these liquids on hand, give it a try.

I first tried VB and thought, "uhh, is this Bounty Hunter with tobacco?" Last year (though bill has always talked about this), I responded to one of his posts about this VB/BH connection:

Note GJ4's grade on The Really Big RY4 Report Card: A.

GJ4 isn't my favorite RY4 these days, but it's consistently either in my Personal Top Ten RY4s or pounding on the door to get back in. It just missed the cut at #14 this last time The Big List was posted.

And yes, scarfy, Vita Bella is terrific. It's Bounty Hunter with cojones.

Hey Bill, someone just PMed me this post. Leave it to you to say what I only have said to two people: my friend and ECF member Kemosabe, and Nick, the owner of GoodeJuice. I cannot stop smiling at that line, "And yes, scarfy, Vita Bella is terrific. It's Bounty Hunter with cojones." I have said something very similar ;) to Nick and he is aware of resemblance, but I believe he doesn't even know what BH tastes like -- well, aside from it being Vita Bella with the voice of a castrato.

Diamondback from Provape is my goto tobacco juice

What's up? Good to see a new face around here. We love our tobacco liquids around here, but we focus our attention toward extracted tobacco liquids. It'll make sense after awhile as to which is which.

There are a few vendors that will either not ship to Canada, or have protective disclaimers that international customers "order at their own risk." No refunds for shipments seized by CBSA.

Look like NAFTA doesn't apply to e-juice, huh?
