I'd put VB on the medium side. Not as clean as HHV but not an atty killer like others. Not too bad.

Cool. I guess that makes it a good reference point.

I was vaping lab juices exlusively until very recently so I got a little spoiled by being able to refill many times without cleaning. But judging by my experience so far, NETs are worth the extra trouble.

Vapo Marx,

Your question on V.B. gunk scale. All I can say about that is two days and my Pro Tank II literally shuts down.

My question is what tank is the absolute best for NETs vs longevity of the coil and wick?

Please not too many acronyms... makes a newbies life very difficult. ;)

My experience is that if a NET is a gunker it will gunk up any atty. Perhaps some a little more than others but they will gunk up anything you use and it wont take too long. I haven't used cartos in a long while, but I understand those gunk up quicker than most. Someone may come along and dispute this. One of the best ways to combat gunkers is to make a microcoil and use a cotton ball wick that can be removed/replaced quickly...dry burning the coil before putting the new wick in. Rebuildables are conducive for quick replacement of the wick. Some people use dripping attys and rotate them. they collect several polluted attys and then soak them in vodka or Everclear or other cleaning agents. Ask the drippers about this.

A mindset when vaping NETs has to be achieved. That is they will, on balance, gunk up your coil faster than non-NETs. It's just a fact of the matter. As with many human endeavor...anything that is good comes with a price. :)

NETcom is on the way! I played it safe and stuck with their recommended 70/30 even though I've been digging 65/35 and even 50/50 juices from other vendors lately.

One interesting thing I've noticed when buying NETs is that they're available in nicotine levels all the way down to zero. Does this mean no nicotine (or very little) is contained in the extract itself? That would be kinda surprising, I'd expect at least some nic to leach out of the tobacco.

You would be correct. :) Not much, but some.

I stopped using tanks with my NETs a short while ago and went to dripping. Some gunk faster than others but they all gunk faster than a normal juice. I dry burn my tank coils regularly though. I have a simple process. I'll switch heads at the earliest sign of something being off and collect them in a big shot glass.

Once I get up to about 10 or so I fill the glass up with PGA and soak overnight. Then I rinse with hot water by running the faucet in the shot glass. It agitates nicely. Then I set them in a bowl to dry for however long before I get around to dry burning. I can dry burn 10 in just 20 minutes. When I'm done I have a stash of nicely cleaned heads ready to go. If any of them taste or perform off after putting them back in a tank I toss them. It's a really easy and painless system and I always have a fresh vape from all my tanks for my non-net juices. I used to think it was a chore to do but it really isn't at all. Heads last a long time with proper care.

REAL milkshake. Uncle BJ dont come up for air

Uncle BJ wouldn't like a Jerms milkshake. In a blender.. vanilla ice cream, milk, chocolate syrup, and a big ol' ripe banana.

"My milkshake, it's better than yours. Damn right, it's better than yours"

Where is the "Don't Like" button?

I like bananas...slightly green...raw. Or banana cream pie. Otherwise they are cloyingly sweet, funky, little buggers with a nasty texture.

I was thinking about this sort of thing yesterday. I like bananas; I like coconut, but those two as flavoring components for me just don't work.

Of course, some of you know me well enough to know I'll likely be falling in love with a banana/coconut/tobacco vape made by Dekang. LOL.

Funny thing, I actually still have not truly written off HHV (though I was really ......, and will deal with them with trepidation), I have not written off AVE (though I am not sure why). Generally, the only things I write off (maybe only temporarily) are liquids that I vaped too much of. Liquids that I have yet to have good versions of, or specific liquids that have been hit or miss remain in the "still possible" category.

Well...::gulp::...Coconut Cavendish was released last night by NETCOM

But forget that

Choctaw Perique is out! Damnit I am excited about that one.

I'm excited about that one and the new pumpkin pie tobacco. Much more excited than I would be to eat a pumpkin pie.

Never heard Huntsman called lab juice before. Don't doubt your perception though. I'd let it sit another week or two. HHV NETs use alcohol during the extraction process. Get the caps and drippers off for a day or two and let it evaporate. Perhaps that is what you're tasting. Recap and let it sit another 1 - 4 weeks for the flavor to come out. Huntsman is definitely earthy/grassy.

I was so surprised by the flavor... From what I had read, I expected Huntsmen to by my favorite of the three. I did leave the caps off, but not the drippers. I will let let it sit a month and revisit.

By they way, Dragon's Fire and Serendipity were great. I could tell they need a couple of weeks to really come alive, but they were both good out of the mailbox.

I'm really excited about the advent of pumpkin pie - the food and the e-liquid.

Damn, I love fall. I just wish it didn't lead so soon into winter.

Sometimes in Fargo we get a fall.. sometimes it goes straight to winter. When we're lucky enough to actually get a fall, it's my favorite season.

Harrumph. :glare: Well, at least you get a winter, and sometimes a fall.

Down here in Flaw-duh, there are only two seasons: hot and HOTTER.:nah::nah::nah:

(Yeah yeah, I know: What did I expect? Well, I expected to be able to adjust. Not gonna happen. :( Am already planning my escape to Greenville, South Carolina!)

I hope this is not off topic... What is a reliable dripping setup for NET liquids, something that'll work without breaking down often (as long as it is cleaned) and not too expensive, let's say under $100?

Ego Twist, Empire Mods 1.5ohm 510 atty, Empire Delrin driptip = $33. Buy a bunch of atties.
