I hope this is not off topic... What is a reliable dripping setup for NET liquids, something that'll work without breaking down often (as long as it is cleaned) and not too expensive, let's say under $100?

The power source doesn't matter much. Anything from a simple eGo batt to the most sophisticated APV will work for dripping with a standard atomizer. For sub-ohm dripping, you'll need an RDA on a decent mechanical with high-amp IMR batteries, plus a safety fuse.

Also, no atomizer has any particular advantage in terms of gunking with NETs. All coils gunk.

The question is: Do you want to go the standard atomizer route and do cleaning/dry burning rituals? Or would you rather get an RDA (such as an iGo-L or S), kanthal wire, and wicking material, then build your own coils---regular resistance, micro, or sub-ohm?

I second what Bill said. A decent mechanical mod and small chambered dripper are the best setup for versatility and flavor. IGO S or Phoenix V4 (or other ERA variants) are cheap, relatively easy to build on and hard to damage. Easier to maintain and much less frustrating than putting NETs in a tank IMO.

The only thing I don't like about this kind of setup is having to drip so I now drip from the bottom with a Reo Grand and Reomizer 2 but that exceeds your stated budget.

Bob,

I have been doing something similar only with a small baby food jar I had laying around. It works pretty good but if the net only give me two days I will be spending a lot of time cleaning heads.

I think I need one of those tanks I have seen with the re-buildable coil & wick assemblies I have seen, only not one of those $150 dollar ones.

Johni, I've been gazing lustfully at all the REOs posted in the "Vaper Profile" thread, and wondering: how much do they cost? What kind of threading does a REO use? Why have I not given in to this desire yet?"

Has anyone ever put together a comprehensive list off any/all vendors that offer at least one NET in their lineup? Not only would it be interesting to see, but could serve to direct NET noobs to places they could sample. Honestly, I don't think I know them all and I've been a NET enthusiast for a long time.

I haven't seen such a list, I'm sure there are plenty of us that have tried at least 5-8 Vendors that offer NETS. Generally, I'd say once a Vaper finds three or four Vendors which fit his flavor profile, comfort zone and budget, we can be a bit reluctant to to take a risk on newer or unfamiliar juices when reviews are scarce or spotty.

Personally I've re-ordered, two or more times from 5 6 Vendors; Want2Vape, Vape Rite, QuickNic, Goodejuice & Mountain Oak Vapors, they cover the spectrum of Net offerings from In Your Face Tobaccos to the true Tobacco flavor complimented by additional flavor additives. Add Ahlusion to my list... how could I forget

I do plan on a re-order from Naturally Extracted Tobacco.com once my stock is diminished.

... Once I get up to about 10 or so I fill the glass up with PGA and soak overnight...

I'm not afraid to ask... what's the difference between PG & PGA, and where can you buy it?

Bob,

There are plenty of RDA's (Re-buildable Dripping Atomizers) and RBA's available for much less than $100, you might check out Fast Tech or State-side Vendors and compare prices, read reviews and search YouTube before buying. I have a modified Octopus for dripping and an A7 I use on my Bottom-Feed Mods, I've been contemplating the REOMizer as an addition to my Vaping Arsenal.

Don't let rebuilding scare you, practice and patience will lead to greater success, definitely get an ohm checker or multimeter to check your re-builds before firing it on your Battery/Mod.

PGA is Pure Grain Alcohol. Get it at your favorite liquor store!:)

The Reomizer 2.0 is a bottom fed atty. Don't know if you have a bottom fed mod but I wouldn't use it on anything but a bottom feeder. It will leak into the 510 connection on anything else. That said, it is a great little atomizer. Ceramic cup sloped to the drain hole pulls all excess juice back into the bottle after squonking and makes is easier to build without shorts. Nothing has given me vapor and flavor like the RM2.

I was so surprised by the flavor... From what I had read, I expected Huntsmen to by my favorite of the three. I did leave the caps off, but not the drippers. I will let let it sit a month and revisit.

By they way, Dragon's Fire and Serendipity were great. I could tell they need a couple of weeks to really come alive, but they were both good out of the mailbox.

A month is a good bit of time. What is telling about Huntsman is: it's ready when it turns orange. It starts out rather clear yellowish, but when the orange begins to show, then you have some long pants on that Huntsman.

And it tastes nothing like High Octane. Dark Horse does, as does Torque 56. That is short pants Huntsman, which is just a tad more flavorful than never changing Dark Horse.

Here's a list of vendors that have multiple NETs that I've had. There's plenty more NET vendors, but this is a pretty big chunk.

Want2Vape
GoodeJuice
HeathersHeavenlyVapes
Ahlusion
HouseofLiquid
MountainOakVapors
MyVapeJuice
CravinVapes
ThePlumeRoom
QuickNicJuice
Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco

Ok... in order to somewhat repay ( in a small font way ) what I've picked up in this thread...

I thought I'd repost and update the NET vendor list again since I found it helpful and I assume others new to the thread would also...

Sorry if I've missed any... but it's at least more complete than the last one ( I think .. :D )

Ooops ignore. The quote didn't come out right...

MFToms,

OK I will shop around.

I don't think I am scared of the "Rebuild" process but the cost of the only one I have watched a video on is the Z-Atty on the ProVape site. After watching the "How To" video I checked it out in the products list... $140 dollars on sale. I only paid $10 dollars more for my Provari.

I have since look around and found some that are a lot more reasonable (reasonable only in comparison to the $140) certainly not my $15 dollar Pro Tank. I will probably have to sit and stew about it overnight before I have the nerve to plunk down fifty-ish for a re-buildable clearamizor.

Thanks for the encouragement and direction to look.

This is all you need, then some wick and wire. About $12 total (plus shipping) to start.

Lists of NET vendors are always problematic for several reasons. There are vendors that won't reveal if they use extracts or not, vendors that make NET/synthetic hybrids, vendors that use TA or TE and are vague about "natural", and on and on. Does a vendor belong on the list or not? Yada, yada, yada.

Every so often a lesser known vendor will be brought up and a bunch of people try them, usually with less than spectacular results. In the time I've followed this thread, the NETs that have been worth the money are pretty well discussed here.

Edit: If you are looking for NET vendors that haven't gotten much press here lately, go back to the old Netty Award thread. There are a few in it.

If you want a Genesis style RBA ("a gennie" - the ones that use a vertical wick usually made from stainless steel mesh), Many people recommend the RSST as a good starter. It's relatively inexpensive and said to be amond the easiest to build. The catch with gennies is that they aren't very good for travel as they tend to leak when not kept vertical.

My first RBA was a Smoktech Drunker Tank. It's cheap, vapes well and doesn't leak. It does have its quirks and a learning curve, but that's true of every RBA I know of. I got 2 back in May and one of them just died yesterday, but I still use the other. I recommend them as a starting tank.

If you're thinking of an RDA (rebuildable dripper), I can vouch for the Igo-L. It's solidly built and pretty easy to build.

I think the RSST is usually around $30 and both of the others are around $15 (each).

I was hoping you would weigh in on this as I know you are a fan of both Huntsman and High Octane. Looking forward to long pants Huntsman. I'll be watching for the color change. Thanks!
