I ordered it a few days ago and it should be here very soon.

My NETcom order that's on the way is gonna be my last juice purchase for the forseeable future (I'm a government employee). Luckily, I've got enough bottles here to keep me busy for a while. I just now tried the first of several Mt. Baker flavors I ordered a month ago (yes, I know that company is off-topic in this thread).

Gub'mint here, also, Vapo. This week is devoted to learning to build better coils. Juice..check. Kanthal..check. Sterilized cotton..check. Bring on the zombies - I'm set for the apocalypse.

Shat, wanna take this one too. You could practice your decorum some more. We can always use the practice. :)

*chuckle* I see nothing in Avail that suggests NET - lab-acco/artibacco, maybe. (Psst NET is a selling point, guys.)
That and their blanketing of FB user groups makes me wary.

I will stand to be corrected, of course.

Thanks, Bronze!

Yeah, I'm going for micro coil.

I got 2mm silica. I also got "Double Twik", which is 2mm, but swells to 4mm when wet. Is that ok? I also got the Twik with only 1 cotton strand. I'd assume that swells ~1/2, but that's just a wild guess. I guess we'll see.

I don't have a eyeglass screwdriver, but I do have pretty much every diameter punch, so I should be good to go.

Hope you guys don't mind answering some questions along the way if I run in to trouble.

It's not rocket science, but it is flippinfiddlyfrustrating starting out. You'll master it quickly. The metric tonnage of good YouTube vids on various techniques are unpossibly hoooge.

Here's the vid thread. Micro coil videos

German silica can be found at RTDvapor. Or... for much cheaper, better flavor and wicking, and easier to work with, get some organic cotton balls or sterilized rolled cotton. Micros need cotton, with silica you'll be making minis.

Thanks, Jerms! Just got some .de silica and some ribbon wire. I'm going to do this successfully if it's the last thing I do.

Considering Boba's is the #1 over-hyped, over-rated juice on the market (in no way am I saying it's not good) this doesn't surprise me.

But is Moon mountain's Dusty boots a NET?

Edit: after reading their sight, I ordered 'Dust Boots' along with a few others.

And yes, Broze; the gun tool set punches will work. I have ~20 in all different diameters from 1mm-20mm. I think I'm set.

MMV's liquids are NOT NETs. They are synthetics. But, aside from Dusty's Boots, they have the Sweet Sister series (Neptune, Mars, Mercury). Sweet Sisters are basically custom RY4 type; Neptune is Blueberry and Cream. Been wanting to try them myself, but they are synthetic and have a fixed PG/VG ratio.

Jeff, since you're here, I seem to be getting a better result with Organic in a T2 if I tilt the clearo just before vaping, saturating the top of the wick and presumably the coil as well. This shouldn't be necessary because of the long wicks but perhaps it's helping due to the thickness of the juice. Or maybe I'm just imagining things. As a fellow T2/Triton user and NET enthusiast, what's your take on this? Do you tilt?

Borescoped's "BA" Mango Vanilla from www.naturally-extracted-tobacco.com

The Juice: BA bottled on 8/15, 15mg nic, 70% pg, heat extracted option. BA is an extracted pipe tobacco that was flavored with mango and vanilla. The pipe tobacco is made by Holger Danske, and instead of being a flavored cavendish cut, it's made with air-cured Burley and Virginia with flavoring added. This juice is made from just the pipe tobacco, no flavoring added to the juice.

The Hardware: cotton wicked micro coil, 28ga Kanthal at 1 ohm on an IGO-S; vaped on a mechanical mod

Ratings are from 1-5 depending on where a juice falls in an attributes spectrum. Only the last rating, "overall", is based on 5 being the best.

Sweetness: 3. A pretty fair amount of sweetness comes through in this vape. It's a natural tasting sweet that seems to come from the mango, and isn't overdone at all. For me the level is perfect for this type of vape, but for those seeking a dry tobacco this won't be it.

Tobacco Impact: 2.5. Tobacco isn't the star of the show here, this is very much a flavored tobacco vape. It could maybe benefit from more pronounced tobacco, but this is the result of an extraction from a specific brand of pipe tobacco. The tobacco isn't lost in the flavors though, and it has tobacco notes that work very well with the flavors. Kind of bright and leafy. The tobacco notes are especially felt in the exhale and aftertaste, and a slow exhale brings the leafy bite out more.

Vapability: 5. Nicely sweet with a pleasant tobacco and very tasty mango and vanilla, I can pick up and vape this about any time of the day. Works great for long session vaping; the sweetness never gets sickening. The mango backs off just a tad after a bit, but is still noticable and it helps to bring out the tobacco more.

Flavor Accuracy: 5. This tastes like exactly what it is, a vanilla and mango flavored pipe tobacco. The mango tastes natural. I don't notice a seperate vanilla flavor, it more combines with the mango flavor making it more creamy and round, and that flavor matches well with the tobacco.

Overall: 4.5. BA is a pretty strong win for me. Mango and vanilla are two of my favorite flavors, and when I heard about this tobacco juice I got very excited. I was expecting a flavored cavendish pipe tobacco, but was pleasantly surprised the tobacco tastes like what it is, air-cured Virginia and Burley. I could use just a tad more tobacco impact, but that's just a small complaint of a very tasty NET.

Always the tilt. Plus I always have the Tritons laying down. Just have to remember to roll it over once a day to keep all the wicks wet :)

Fantastic review, as always, Jerms. Now I really want to try this one. It was on the short list for NET.com... since I'm all about the sweet these days :)

Thanks :)

BA will satisfy the sweet tooth while still being a bacco vape. I'd especially suggest this for anyone who likes Pendragon from MOV.

Putting that on my future "to try" list. Love me some mango... I get a mango-on-a-stick every time I go to Coney Island.

(Not my picture; I get mine with hot pepper and lime juice).

Good advice from yourself, Jerms and Bronze. Thanks guys.

Just getting on the phone with the bank manager right now.. and raiding the piggy bank.

/me looks around.. psst.. beckons Anthony over!

K-Lite is definitely worth the price tag. It's almost fool-proof, and work like a dripping atty but with the added benefit of a 4ml tank. Speaking of tanks, it's built like one too.

I've used Silica, 2mm Ekowool, 3mm Ekowool to wick mine. There's a number of different configurations and setups you can use for it.

I know you like your research, so here's a link to the Kayfun Lite thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/rebuildable-atomizer-systems/436118-kayfun-lite.html. Tons of info there..

Cotton: Apparently it can be bought at any supermarket. You want to get the "unbleached" one if you can find it.

I have been vaping Boomerdude's extraction concentrates which I DIYed with some Plain PG and Nicotine VG.

My favorites so far are the Borkum Riff, the DK Fired Kentucky (which I only tried today for the first time) and the Kuba Kuba, so far from those I've tried. Boomer was spot on about the Kuba Kuba. It's actually better than Quicknicjuice's Kuba and not that far off W2v's. That's a big vouch from me because I think W2v's liquids are one of the most finest extractions capturing as much of the flavour as possible from it's selection of cigars and pipes. Kuba Kuba has a sweet wrapper with a botanic infusion and that sweetness comes through in Boomer's extraction more so than from the vendors who have a Kuba Extraction. Fine work Boomer!

That's fine with me. I like some artibaccos. I also like RY4, so having a few different takes on it from the same vendor is a treat, imo. And Idgaf about fixed PG/VG ratios.

Now that I reread my post you quoted I have no clue why I asked if it were a NET. I knew it wasn't. Long day.

Goodnight, my Cosa NETztra.
