Bmore...if you're interested in entering the NET world, make yourself a sampling strategy. It can be a long, arduous, expensive journey if you let it. Give us some idea as to what your likes and dislikes are. Folks can help steer you in the right direction. You may not be sure of your likes/dislikes. Whatever, sampling is hit and miss but is a necessary requirement to find liquids you truly enjoy.

Or a vendor that matches your flavor profile.

Yes Jerms, you organize your reviews very well. One question...the number is not necessarily a "favorability" number? Could it also be interpreted as a strength number?

Thanks B. Yep, strength number for most of them. For sweetness, 1 would be almost totally dry, very little to no sweetness, and 5 would be sickenly sweet. My prefered range is 1 to 3, any sweeter would start to be too sweet for me. Bounty Hunter would be a 4, but kind of worked for me as a really sweet TINO.

For tobacco impact, 1 would be very little tobacco notes detected and 5 would be either a very aggressive tobacco or a very complex tobacco. I think the tobacco impact seperates the the big font NETers and the small font NETterts. I enjoy the range, from simple to comlex and from mild to aggressive, but 3 or above I gravitate to more.

Vapability is how often and how long I want to vape it. Low vapability isn't always bad, a 1 could be a super aggressive or unique flavor that I don't want to pick up often, but really like when I'm in the mood. It's a more personal preference rating instead of the first two that I try to rate based on the level of sweet or impact. Since I love vanilla and can vape it often, good chance a vanilla bacco will get a higher vapability from me. Having a little sweet without too much can make a vape I like to vape longer too, and complex juices can hold my attention longer. There's other factors, but it boils down to how often I'm grabbing for it and how well it works for long term vaping.

Flavor accuracy is how close it is to being what it's advertised as and how well the flavors are done. Also a space to talk about the tobacco and non-tobacco flavor notes, how well it works as a cig, pipe, or cigar vape, and how well the flavors come together.

Overall is purely my personal rating; 1 is the worst and 5 is the best. Also kind of a summary of my feelings about a juice.

Perfect Jerms. I think of smoke juice in the same terms as you. Dryness seems to be a function of sweetness. Something with little to no sweetness comes across as dry to me. And that' not all bad because I like a dry vape. Just not every day. It's an occasional thing for me. Kind of like that occasional cigar I would have when I was a cigarette smoker.

Mr. Mann, thanks for the explanation. Mighty kind of you to take the time to help a newcomer understand. It's people like you that make this forum great.

Shatner, point taken

And it's people like you that make staying around worth while. People like you help me stay sane. Trust me, I find a lot of times that the veterans can be the most annoying. After all, being new is a perfectly viable reason for not knowing something. Now lets get you fitted with a good extracted tobacco liquid. What are your general likes and or dislikes? Even if your're talking about tobacco + fruits/desserts, light or bold tobaccos, smooth or hard hitting--when it comes to tobacco, natural tobacco, we got you covered.

Laughing my ... off.

Another thought to add to your thoughts...I'm guessing you vaped 24mg or more. The juice I sent you is 18mg.

I think BJ said he sent out the headless juice so I should be seeing that any time.

Are you sure all your wife and you did while blindfolded was taste testing smoke juice? :)

Oh, I missed this point. Yours is exactly the same specs as mine. 18 mg @ 70% PG. Fair fight, except for the age factor.

I was recently asked to rate a special person's tobacco extracted eliquid with 0-5 ratings. Luckily they allowed for decimals. Rating can be very tricky.

Yeah I think the sweetness and tobacco impact attributes can be the most helpful when someone is thinking about trying a juice. How sweet or dry the vape, and how mild or strong the tobacco.. many people have a range that they prefer, and some stick to only a certain level for each. I need to have both sweet and dry juices on hand, if I stick with one type I get sick of it. Too sweet isn't good, but I've never had too dry. As dry as possible can be great, but vaping them soon my sweet tooth kicks in. My light to medium sweet juices tend to get vaped up quicker too.

Vendor: Goodejuice
Liquid: House Brewed Line Patriot
Thoughts: Aromatic pipe. Period. There's nothing else out there that comes even close to an aromatic pipe tobacco. Goodejuice extracts their own tobaccos. This is a blend of Louisiana Perique, Virginia Burley, and Kentucky Cavendish. If you're looking for an aromatic pipe, you need to try this.

Just curious if anyone knew that the original Patriot (extracted tobacco + synthetic flavoring), from GoodeJuice, was the first review in this thread.

Supposedly (at least this is what the vendor tells us), it is now all extracted tobacco. Dre, you may want to check this one out. After all, this liquid (the first version of it) got this thread rollin'.

I find ratings very tricky too. I stick to Roger Ebert's (RIP) scale by allowing myself half ratings, but do 1 through 5 instead of his 0 through 4 (both have 9 possibilities, or a 1-10 scale). I often wrestle when doing the reviews.. let's see.. 2 or 2.5, 2 or 2.5, maybe 3? nah, 2.5 at the most.. or maybe 2 lol. I remind myself that the words are more important than the number, and then remind myself it's all just one man's opinion anyways lol.

I am a lights-on kinda guy.

Ha! Me too (good for me, not so lucky for the girl :p ).

For ECF to survive, there has to be a significant element of PIF. I try to remind myself of that.

I find with Dragon's Fire (and most HHV NETs) that after 10 days (provided you get the alcohol out) there is only 5 - 10% to be gained from additional steeping. Those creamy based juices (Shadow and HA) benefit from a 6 - 8 week steep. Maybe because it knocks down that creamy note to make them less rich.

Speaking of paying it forward, thanks for the Vita Bella and Humpback.

I know you wanted the VB to relive old times, but I'm assuming you wanted the HB as a first time try? I'd be interested in your impressions. I'm drawn to Orientals. They are interesting. Kind of boring for 10 minutes and then it leaves that nice spicy flavor on my tongue to enjoy for hours.

BTW, this might be paying it back. You were the one who suggested I try VB...many moons ago. :)

Actually, I had the HB before it was released. Unfortunately, I PIFed it before realizing how much I liked it. I can't even remember who I gave those to. It was back in June.

Well, I'm in a buying rut. What say you guys for sweetness and tobacco impact or smooth criminal and heavenly army? Looking for suggestions in the same realm. How about epipe mods long leaf and shire malt? Probably not nets, but I'm curious just the same. TIA.

ePM might not hit that sweet tooth at all. Have you looked into Mountain Oak Vapor? I think that could be your next stop.
