Some reviewers are just fun to watch. vape Girl is great even though some of her offerings provide no info at all, just hats. Mostly I just watch Phil and scubabatdan's few and far between vids. Todd is another I try not to miss, great information with an eccentric twist. Grimm Green is a bit to hipster for me, I can do without the burps and toots. And of course Rpad is not to be missed.

Ugh, I hate video reviews too. Friggin watched one yesterday.. 25 minutes to review 5 juices. Probably got all of 3 minutes worth of useful information.. and that's being kind. Like seriously dude, you are NOT that interesting. Get to the flipping point GOD!

This was back last September. It will come to me, I just don't remember right now. Maybe the Web show that's on Wednesday's from 9-12? ( the name escapes me right now ) At the time it made sense to me and I've been doing it that way ever since. I thought everyone did it this way. I don't get flooding even when the juice is almost gone. It's sort of like the Venturi effect, I just rest the mouthpiece on my bottom lip and inhale from the mp and outside air. I do it this way with RBA's, carts and clearos.

Okay, if it works that's cool. I don't have any devices that might flood anyway, unless I drip too many drops. On a very airy genny, I can see why someone might do this, since the natural feeling from them is no resistance at all. That's a major reason I hate genesis atomizers.

Here's how I vape: I do one or two primer puffs to get the coil good and hot, observing the density of vapor in front of my face. Then I inhale into my mouth. All that happens with my lips sealed around the drip tip. Once I have a mouthful of vapor, I open my lips slightly and inhale air, which pushes the vapor in my mouth down into my lungs. With an air/vapor mix in my lungs, I pull the PV away from my mouth and savor the flavor for a couple seconds, then exhale slowly, almost as an automatic physical reflex.

I know our side-discussion of vape technique was hours ago but the comment above about "primer puffs" stayed on my mind the rest of the day. I didn't think they were necessary with a manual battery - especially since I usually pull the trigger a second or two before I start to take a drag - but I started doing it this afternoon and sure enough, just one or two short puffs before the "main event" really does give a better vape. Whattaya know!

I've converted one of my buds from a lung hitter to a mouth hitter. He swears he tastes his juices more that he used to. Any truth to this?!

I inhale through my mouth and exhale through my ears. That way I can taste and hear the vape.

I'm sure he's tasting his juices more after stopping the direct to lung inhale.. since now he's doing it RIGHT instead of WRONG.

I know. I'm just twisting BJ's panties a bit :)

I'm vaping on some Coventry from NET.com now (Thanks, Shatner) and I believe it's the house mix (70/30), and while it's not what I've gotten used to, it's pretty good. I like my 50/50 or higher VG of late. Plenty of vapor and flavor with the house blend. Since Clay does mix according to the higher number, I don't think you can go wrong since he has both extracted bases (PG/VG).

When I order for myself, I'll go for higher VG and hope the flavor is there (like it is for HHV's Purity line).

I have some American Spirit and Black Cavendish coming from Netcom. Anyone recommend a good ratio to mix them? I only got 5 ml bottles and don't want to waste any. Also got some Uncle BJ's. Steep time or fresh?

Clay lists on his site what he mixes the extracts at. Black Cav he shows 25%, but it doesn't say for Big Spirit so you may want to ask him on his thread.

Only if you inhale through your ears. Which is a new thing I guess.

You EXHALE through the ears. Inhaling through the ears.. that's just silly.
