I agree, Jerms.
If there's a speck of natural tobacco extract in BB, then I'm a, well, Boba's uncle. To my palate, BB is a synth TINO, all the way.
That said, BB is a great juice, deserving of its mythic reputation. For the past six months, I've been tweaking (and vaping) my own Boba's clone recipe made with synth TFA flue-cured and TFA DK-TAB flavorings plus cola, graham cracker, and raisin flavorings---I call it "Boba's Brother," but I finally broke down and ordered a 100ml bottle during AVE's recent sale. My clone turned out to be surprisingly close to BB and a darn good juice in its own right, but I'm pleased as punch to have authentic Boba's back in my stable.
Now I'm mixing my Boba's Brother clone 1:1 with real Boba's Bounty. Yum.
I also picked up 10mls of El Kamino last week, GoodLifeVapor's offering that some folks call a "Boba's Killer." It's not---BB easily dodged that assassin's bullet---but El Kamino is nonetheless an intensely flavorful and compelling juice.
A terrific by-product of having so many home-brewed NETs in great quantity is that I can experiment with adding natural extract tobacco to various synth tobacco blends to give them that extra oomph of NET flavor and authenticity. My Nat Sherman MCD and American Spirit Organic extracts are ideal for this. While delicious, they're more neutral (or at least less idiosyncratic) than my aromatic pipe NETs, so they augment synthetic artibacco blends especially well in hybrid use, rather than clashing with them or muddying the flavors.
