Hmm OK. The GeJ NET level gunking is the limit for me. Otherwise, I start worrying when the gunk taste will hit me :)

I'll probably get a sample of BGB then. And maybe 30 mL of Sahara Blend and peachy criminal (or apple house blend). Any suggestions for a complex and interesting vape in their non aromatic line up?

Well.. you may want to reconsider that. The price on the aromatics is kind of wonky. $13.50 for a 15ml now (was $10 before). Kind of a lot, but for not much more you get the 30ml ($4 if I remember right). I'd suggest the big bottle because of that price thing but also it's a great one to add to other juices to give it more tobacco oomph.

Aromatics also aren't available for the free sample request, along with the newer juices so make sure to check it's availablility before requesting a sample.

(Definately get Peachy Criminal before Apple House Blend; Apple Wild Wood is a really good non-aro if you want apple)

Thanks Jerms! I forgot that they don't offer samples on aromatics! And I don't want to pay that much for 15 mL!

In this case, I might go with

30 mL BGB
30 mL Sahara
10 mL free sample peachy criminal

Jerms, I just read your review for Sahara Blend. I'm definitely getting that one :)

As Erawk suggested I was going to try honey cured too, but I want to get something else easier on the coils. I've been only vaping NETs here, I'm getting tired of coil laundry :)

Jerms, what else are you getting?

Looks good. Honey Cured is good, but probably best to stick with the one aromatic when new to it, they are very strong and agressive tobaccos so not for everyone. If you do like BGB you'll probably want to eventually try all the aros.

Not sure yet what else I'm getting. Probably Blueberry Vanilla Cake for my sample since I meant to get it last time but passed over it. Probably one of the teas too, thinking Yerba Mate.

Erawk, I'm really enjoying my Trident now after switching to my regular setup. I put tape on the inside to cover the second airhole since I'm not using duals, and it fixed the leaking. I'm surprised by the flavor I'm getting until I looked closer. The base is as big as the IGO-L, but when put together the chamber is actually much smaller so I'm getting much better flavor than my IGO-L. Combined with it's looks, it may turn out to be one of my favorite drippers.
ahhh good point about the inner piece. My 2nd coil build at 0.6 is closer to the airholes and slightly above them. The flavor is really good. Not as good as a small dripper, but very marginal considering the size and improved performance in all other areas. It never pops or crackles... even when its ice cold. I wonder if the fact that the wicks lay so flat, helps it vape like such a champ. No clue, but i like it.

I'm working on my Aqua review now. It's very different from a Kayfun -- much warmer vape and much less capacity. I love it just as much. It's great for juices that work at higher temperatures. I'm loving it for NETs.
Hearing this, coupled with the fact that my origin is en route... oh man, your not making it easy on my finances ray.

Finally a few things I can chime in on... opinion wise..

Ahl's BRB is gunkyier than GeJ's anything... but like everyone else mentioned.. it's not one you want to skip or miss. It's a very full flavored Burley that when I first tasted it... it knocked me down with how strong the tobacco came out. I quickly became accustom to it after taking it lightly for about a week. It is my all time favorite from Ahl which is saying a lot since I do like most of what I've had from them.

I haven't had it in a T2 but I do use Evod's a lot ( as well as the ProTanks )... I get through 1.5ml and just a bit more with GeJ's Patriot ( or Wild Turkey etc ). On BGB I don't quite get through a full 1.5ml before the flavor drops. If I rebuild using a micro-coil on the Evod/Protank... I can go almost 2ml or maybe more before it gunks up and flavor drops using BGB.

Ahl's Saraha.... At first I found it really weak flavored... it had to steep for about a month before the Turkish tobacco started to shine through and then I really did start enjoying it... Like many here... I always recommend taste testing a juice right away but on this one don't let it deter you if you don't think it's great at the beginning... it does get better.

I found JG Blend a bit on the light side ( flavor wise ) and I forgot I even had it... I need to clean up something and revisit it soon.

I just went crazy on the Ahl sale... I couldnt pass up 24% off. There were more i wanted to try but had to draw the line somewhere.

Smooth Criminal
Shipwreck
Sahara
Caramel Wild Wood
Vurley
JG Blend
Sweet Georgia Peach
Ginger Candy

and a sample of maple wild wood. Vurley and SGP are 30ml everything else is 10. The best part about this order is i havent tried any of these yet. 24mg 70/30.

Ya done good, my man! :)

For 2014, I'm forcing myself to buy juice out of every paycheck so I don't get in a bind of running out.

Oh please don't throw me in that briar patch!

You did good too, Chinook! :thumb: (Especially with the Sahara Blend!)

Also, do you guys know if Ahlusion accepts custom nicotine levels?

No, sadly, they do not.

Great thread!

I like pipe and cigar flavors and am looking for a source of good quality juices. I've scanned the thread and find it hard to find sources. What do people recommend (flavors and sources)? I like sweet, but not fruity tobacco blends too.

I used to smoke rolled Persian tobacco with a pinch of white sage, very tasty. Has anyone seen anything like that?

Almost out of Honey Cured which is my only aro on hand so decided to add Maple Burley with my Sahara Blend order. If I like it, it will be the first maple tobacco I've liked. Hey Joe from MOV and Maple Spirit from Cravin I didn't care for.

I like maple tobaccos a lot more than honey ;) HHV's Huntsman has both a maple and honey note (to me), but it's not the civet urine honey :) Honey just doesn't seem to translate well to vape, or tobacco vapes. Even the NLV Twilite honeybacco has that twang to it.

But Hey Jack from MOV was very tasty, very sweet, and reminds me of a pancake house -- yummy!

Maple Burley is really good. Prob ranks as my 3rd favorite ahl aro behind honey and BGB. Kinda regret not re-ordering that, but i wanted to keep my order all new stuff. Tastes more like maple wood than maple syrup though.

speaking of maple tobaccos, I want to try a natural extraction of 4noggins maple aromatic. Its supposed to be really good pipe tobacco, but ive held off on ordering it, thinking that ill just stop by the store to save on shipping, but im never in middlebury. Plus they have a 2oz min order and their prices aren't all that competitive..

Tons of good quality NET juices and vendors. If you name more specifically what your looking for people can give you some suggestions.

A general list of good vendors to start with..

Straight tobacco: GoodeJuice, Want2Vape, Ahlusion, QuckNicJuice, MountainOakVapor, NatuallyExtractedTobaccos

Sweet tobacco: HeathersHeavelyVapes, Ahlusion, MountainOakVapor
