Okay, thanks.........some topics you read........others require going back to take notes.

......:getting out notebook now:.............. :)

My memory isn't what it used to be.

Racehorse, I am elated to see you on this course. I will have more tips later on, but for now just know that NETs will at first be a 180° turn (when it's done right) from the average "tobacco juice." You will soon wonder why those other juices ever carried the title "tobacco" at all.

I am all about the 100% vg, well, thanks in large part to jplanet and Optimo! Luce, what do you recommend from Heather's from what you remember? Had you tried the all vg?

I thought an all VG formula would be seriously lacking in flavor, although high in vapor production. Is that not true, or is it that the tobacco flavors are so bold that they cut through the 100% VG and still provide good flavor?

You are correct in the assumptions about all vg. At that time, I was in fact all about vg. Now, not so much. I go with whatever vendors say is best for a particular liquid; if it happens to be all vg, then cool, if it's 30% vg, then that is cool too. I don't vape anything over 70% pg, though.

Very tempting. I have a ton of juice right now, and much less space to queue it. Thanks for the coupon though. I really want to check out that Applebacco sometime. Interesting to note, their fruit flavored tobacco juices are NET, but juices like their Cuban or Perique, are not. Interesting.

^^What does NET mean?

Thanks

**nevermind, I guess its "naturally extracted tobacco"

Vendor: The Plume Room

Vendor Description: "A unique mixture which exhibits the mellow, earthy flavor of Virginia intertwined with rich honey and a discreet top note of fresh fig.

A mellow to medium vape rich in complexity and finesse.

Throat hit: Dependant upon nicotine level. (This is a high VG juice, and, true to VG juice nature, there is less of the irritation and "hit" that high PG juices give, while giving amazing vapor.)"

Composition: N/A Received as sample. 12mg strength.

Juice Age: Two days from the mailbox. Bottle just opened.

Devices Used: Phoenix RBA (with cleaned coil/wick) on a ProVari. 2.0 ohm at 4.5v

My Thoughts: Huh... very interesting. There is a very pronounced tobacco base which is medium in my books and very lightly sweet. Add a very light, almost undetectable, honey undertone, with a slightly more pronounced fig undertone 'layer' at the finish. I said layer, as that is what Andrea has described to me as her compilation method. I think I understand now. As simple as the name implies, this is a fairly 'complex' vape to me compared to most. It's almost like clockwork when vaping this, the tobacco base, slight honey, with a fig flavor finish. Almost akin to very high-end pipe tobaccos. I have to say that I'm very impressed yet again. I was expecting this one to be more along the lines of an overly sweet juice, but I am pleasantly pleased by it. Don't miss this one. Once again, nice job Ms. Ramaglia.

Ha! Crap. Must have been zoning out or something. I was looking at the tobacco section the whole time. Thanks, luceblueboy. Time to edit my review a bit.

well TBinAZ, looks like you got the Honey Fig Tobacco. Looks like Andrea did a great job if you got all the flavors down!

Vendor: Mom and Pop Vapor Shop
Liquid: Conspiracy
Vendor Description: Exotic and tropic, this tobacco is flavored with a secret sweet blend stolen from Area 51's coconut division, heehee!ve
Thoughts: I've had three liquids from Mom and Pop in the past. Two tasted almost exactly like Vermillion River's Kentucky Blend. Unfortunately, there's a flavor from both vendors that upsets my stomach. When I saw Conspiracy, I was very intrigued. I love coconut but never thought of having coconut in a tobacco. I read a couple of views on this so I finally pulled the trigger.

When I first tried this out of the package it tasted like toasted tobacco. It wasn't sweet but wasn't bitter either. I tasted no coconut and all tobacco. After a few weeks, I've pulled it again and gave it another go. Steeping changed it. The coconut is more evident now. The tobacco still has that toasted taste while being a little more on the hay side. The coconut adds a little bit of sweetness to offset the hay flavor. If my bottle would have said "Vaperite" on it I wouldn't have been surprised.

As for throat hit, it's nonexistent. Although it is only at 5mg, I still would expect some. Vapor production is fantastic.

Final thoughts: Conspiracy is a good NET. It delivers that real tobacco flavor with the slightest amount of coconut that adds a little sweetness. The flavor is a little more "dirtier" than most tobaccos I've had recently. I have a feeling this isn't too great on my atomizer but won't wreck havoc like Want2Vape. I don't know if I'll reorder this one. Like I said, it's a good tobacco. However, with no throat hit, I'd rate this 6.5/10.

Can the learned sages on this thread help me find something along the lines of Want2Vape Red Pirate? I really like that toasty, cerealy aspect. If anyone here tastes in color, it's that dark tan flavor. I know that RP is derived from chewing tobacco but that is neither here nor there for me.... to be honest I don't even care if it's NET or not. I've had a lot of fun reading this thread (and assembled quite a shopping list:blink:) and I'm sure there's someone who can steer me correctly.

Websites that ship internationally would be a big plus:)

Based on that criteria, I would say ask Luce. No, seriously though, why not just stick with W2V? Nobody, I repeat, nobody has an extensive list of tobaccos like W2V...at least not now. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

This is a tough one. Red Pirate tastes just like dip. If you've had dip you know it's unique flavor compared to other tobaccos. HHV probably be too light while Want2Vape Vapenstein line may be too dark. I'm going to recommend the natural/organic tobaccos from Vaperite. Those are dark but not Batman dark.

I'm also kind of questioning moving away from Red Pirate if it's that satisfying for you. Are you looking for variety? or does RP just not fully do it for you?

Could be. That's why one really needs to invest in a rebuildable atomizer, or a few. In fact, I have a genuine VST and a couple of DIDs (knock-offs) coming my way to accent my current stable of Phoenix RBAs. Great long-term investments I'd say.

I was thinking it may be the havoc it brings on attys, maybe? I would also include cartos but I don't think it is havoc as much as it is death to cartos.

When I taste in color, when I think about it, that color is usually associated with the real-life thing that it tastes like. For example, when I have a juice that's hay-like, it makes me think of the color yellow. I see Red Pirate as being medium to dark tan as well, and I think that's because it tastes a little leathery to me (not in a bad way at all). Could that be the case for you as well?

Red Pirate is indeed very satisfying. I'm not planning on moving away from it. I just would like to know if there's anything out there in a similar vein. Unlike the experts here I cannot tell the difference between Burley and Virginia (or whatnot) on taste alone, so some help would be appreciated:)

My only history with non-cigarette tobacco is smelling my dad's tobaccos. He used to smoke Excalibur and Romeo y Julieta cigars and Balkan Sobranie mild pipe tobacco.

It is entirely possible. It isn't the least bit scientific LOL. But at least somebody understands me:toast:

Well, that's good. What it takes is to experiment. It's appreciated that you consider us experts, but TASTE IS SUBJECTIVE.

Ok, I'll stop. LOL. Remember that we all have particular stashes, and are willing to meet you in 'the alley' if you're so inclined. We're all friends here.

You have to know Monty Python skits, but anyone remember the big ol' hook that would creep in from offstage and lasso people round the neck with it, dragging them off. I suspect Munchichee is in the blacksmith's forging one as we speak. lol
