I might have considered waiting that long for a pretty lady once in my life. But a smoke juice?

Gandalf is such a strange bird.

This Gandalf I'm vaping right now is a little more than 3 weeks old (initially steeped for ~10 days) and it's just now really tasting like I remember Gandalf tasting. Most of that chocolate/coffee/cocoa/black tea/dark honey flavor (depending on who you ask) that assaults you when you first open a new bottle is finally snoozing quietly in the background.

Mr.Mann also said GJ4 needs a really good steep. That's one reason I'm thinking about going ahead and getting them (even though they weren't technically "next in line"), so I can try them before Christmas.

Is GJ4 the only one that needs that much steeping?

LOL! Christmas might be a good thing to shoot for! In my experience, all other GeJ juices (haven't tried Wrangler yet, but I think that's the only one) are good to go within two weeks. GJ4 really took me by surprise.

I personally liked the old version better. Leave it to Mann to ruin for me! First he "encourages" use of this thread, then he takes it over, then he ruins my precious Gandolf!! MANNNN!!!!!!!!!! MAAAAAANNNN!!!!!

Salt&Pepper, this marvelous thread that is so dear to me initially went 3 months without a post. After it was pulled back up, it took off. After the op started it, there was less than 10 posts, most of which came from him. If the idea is sound, it will happen -- you can't force the issue. I, for one, don't necessarily have a top 5, top 10 or anything like that. I like vaping natural tobaccos and that is about the extent of it. If I feel moved to post there I will, but as of now I don't. If you really want to know what the posters here think, just pull up a seat and chill. "Pleading" (the word you used in your thread) for us to tell you what is best is kind of a moot point -- it is always much deeper than that.

I hope you take my words as I have intended. I don't want to come off as dismissive, but your thread may go kaput -- it happens. I have started so many threads and the majority of them are in the thread grave yard.

I'm assuming I've never had the "old" Gandalf, cause this tastes like it always did to me. Did Gandalf used to taste more "tobacco-y"? It's not all that tobacco-y to me now. More so than cheesecake for sure, but mostly a whole lot of stuff I can't even guess what it is.

Gathered up some GeJ stuff that's been here for a few months and nearly empty. These are from what I would call the mild side of NET (well, maybe not the Perique)... Gawd I had almost forgotten just how great these really are:

Natural Perique: This is the unmistakable flavor of unblended Perique. A must-have juice in my opinion. Slightly sweet, slightly peppery, with a dried fruit raisin-like richness. Silky smooth, almost creamy, the GeJ way. Even if unblended Perique is a bit too much for you full-on, try blending some with your favorite milder tobacco vape to add a whole 'nother level of depth and complexity. 10/10. Time to order more today.

That Perique sounds awesome to me! When I finally dive in to GeJ-land, I believe I'll start with that one! Thanks for the reviews, Vic.
