Hey James,

Huntsman is the go to for many when they go to the pub or out with friends and need that something. I believe I am Huntsman's chief cheerleader so take what I say with a grain or two. lol - I love the earthy, sweet hay, almost cigar flavor of Huntsman. If it arrives light amber in color, you can have a try but it will need steeping for a couple weeks. On the cigarette side, I really like W2V's Morley for what that's worth to you. :)
So I placed an order from HHV. I have never had extracts before. I am looking for a cigarette type tobacco flavor (Imagine that) and I hope one of these will do the trick.

Huntsman (Purity)
Legend (Purity)
Pirate's Booty (Purity)
Shadow (Purity)

Pen! Try Pen! I wanna know which is your favorite, though Sunday morning sounds very tempting as I m having a hard time finding the "EUREKA!" coffee/dark flavor vape.

Yeah - CT! what do you think of the El Toros (yes, I'm a fangirl of Cigarillos and Puros too - and with good reason I might add:D).

Eenie, meenie, minie, mo.. which MOV get's the next go. RY4, Gent, or Pen. Leaning towards Pendragon later today, as that's what I meant to vape yesterday lol.

CT, haven't seen you post in a long time, I was really enjoying your posts. Been busy and just lurking these days? Gonna comment on the El Toros?

I'm looking forward to Huntman quite a bit since Dark Horse caught my attention from the sample pack months back. I'm guessing all the NETs I have coming from them; Legend, Serenity, Huntsman, Dragon's Fire, and Jiggy all take a couple weeks for the flavor to develop? Any you know of would be best to dive in early? The Swish Sweet I have coming from them isn't a NET so may be good to start with.

This last batch of orders I placed HHV and Ahulusion first, but still no shipping notice. Not suprised, they be 2 very busy vendors lately.

Will do Pendragon tonight! I'll attempt to anyways, if I report back notes of caramel and vanilla you may have to remind me to look closer at the bottle lol.

I'm officially a fan of Cigarillos now too, and Puros is warming up to me more each vape. I ended last night with Eden and it's even better in my new set-up. I can't eat an apple these days without wishing it had tobacco sprinkled on it.

Hula, the coffee in SM is really only a shaping note. One of my faves, great dark tobacco, rounded nicely by the coffee and cream with a touch of sweetness.

That sounds terrific John - When I first started I tried a dekang coffee with a 510 XL battery and atomizer - and it was really good. Upgraded battery and so on, went back to the coffee a couple months later and!! and!.....and....EEEWWWWWW (spit spit). Of course this after I bought 120 ml because I was so enamored of its initial performance.

Serendipity from HHV sounds quite similar imo to Sunday morning - it isn't coffee per se, but I really like to vape it about 2-3 weeks in before it gets too dark, because at that point the cocoa tends to become more pronounced over that similar experience you have with SM - a dark flavor vanilla coffee tobacco.

The nature of the net beast (crop conditions) can have an impact on the flavor, so if a batch doesn't seem as earth shattering as you might expect, I wouldn't necessarily write it off forever.

Jerms - Legend - did you get the current one or the original? (you can ask for the original in your order notes) I can't say I was leaping buildings with a single bound on this one. Crop conditions certainly have impacted the flavor then to the flavor now - it isn't a bad vape at all, don't get me wrong. Shadow - starts for some folk as a powdered doughnut flavor, but I couldn't say myself as my supply is about 3 months old and is a wonderful creamy hazelnut tobacco net. DragonsFire I think is one you can try straightaway. If you like gummy bears, you'll like Jiggy, but swish hasn't had too many raves (non-net) though there is a core of fans for it.

LOL - no Huntsman isn't like that, and the other flavors are not anywhere near it, so you may well find yourself enjoying those more. Huntsman and little brother Dark Horse are completely different to the taste textures of the other, though your choices are all nets. Legend (new version) is a sorta kinda cherry tobacco - but not really. Can't quite describe it, it has a cleanness about it that some call "cherry". I don't like cherry but do like Legend when I'm in the mood for it. Sheesh, I'm reading that Legend thing back and it may well qualify as the most unhelpful post in the world. ROFL

I've never had a cigar, I'm 42. Always thought they smelled like burning dog s-h** soaked in cat p*ss. Hopefully I like one of these flavors.

Hula, I didn't see the similarity between Serendipity and Sunday Morning. I got a note from Serendipity that I didn't like so I traded it and have none to compare to. Got some of the same from Shadow but it has since steeped/oxidized out and it is decent. Of the HHV NETs, I was most impressed with Huntsman and get a very similar take on it as you. I liked HHVs, just found stuff I like better, but they are on the list I would order from again, primarily due to Huntsman.

Being a bit of a contrarian, I have not ordered from HHV or Ahlusion in a while. Usually when a big crowd goes one way, I go the other. I caught the sale at MVJ and now have 7 of their NETs to try.

Dragon's Fire will be first than! Jiggy I just may really like, I enjoy trying tobaccos that go in a different direction. Never smoked a hookah so no experience with what the tobacco made for those is like. Gummy bears can be a good sweetntess, as long as there's other detectable and hopefully tobacco notes present. I still enjoy trying artificial tobacco vapes, good chance Swish may work for me.

With Legend I didn't put anything in the order note, so current version. I'm actually hoping the cherry notes people mention in that one is noticable for me, I like cherry.

Even better then! - I shall have to order some SM. Serendipity - to me that is - is best vaped within the latter part of a month or the cocoa gets too strong (for me). Right now (you mentioned Ahlusion) I'm vaping Smooth Criminal....sigh...I'm in love (HI ELEANOR!) :D

I just Pm'd TB, but figured I'd drop a line in public too. Guevara Reserve is a mighty fine juice. I liked Guevara pretty good, but found it too plain to be worthy of a reorder. The Reserve, on the other hand, is worthy of a reorder if I could just get over that price! The oak barrel aging adds several layers to the original that I find very pleasing. There seems to be a bit of added sweetness on the draw, with the aftermath carrying the slightest hints of oak and brandy. Nice subtle enhancements. I think I'd prefer the 20mg version if I had a choice, because the 10mg is kinda mild. Unfortunately, I don't really have a choice :D because, at $50 US for 60ml, there's just no way for me to rationalize it. Ah well, maybe one day. For now, I'll just enjoy it while it lasts... Thanks TB! :toast:

I'll certainly be ordering more HHV vapes in the near future... There are several I need to revisit after a week or two go by so I can decide if they suit me... With the exception of Heavenly Tobacco ( not NET )... every one I got tasted great right out of the mailbox and from what I've read from everyone else, only get better.

If none of these were to change at all, this is how I'd re-order at present. First the ones I wouldn't re-order simply because of flavor preferences. The Georgia Peach's flavor didn't suit my preferences, but I still felt it was tasty. I didn't think I'd like Peach with tobacco and I was right. Shadow... at this time, I don't feel too much like having a creamy vape much but if the tobacco notes come up as I suspect, I may change my mind on this one.

The two unknowns for me are Huntsman and Dark Horse... everything about it right except perhaps the grassy or hay notes which I haven't developed a taste for yet. Again, if these flavor notes, after steeping, drop back so the tobacco comes out more, I could easily reverse my thoughts on them.

Pirates Booty and Dragons Fire actually surprised me and I enjoy them both. It will be interesting to see how they develop. Legend is a winner from the start but I may not have any around long enough for it to steep out. Since Serendipity is the same extract only they extracted it longer ( or slower ).... will be on the list as well.

On GeJ's vapes... All that I've tried are good and will likely be reordered but I also want to try a few of their others such as the Fire Cured, Organic and Vita Bella. I just wish they give us different ratio options after I tried the W2V's Paris at 5/95 PG/VG. I really enjoyed the lower TH ( sounds odd I guess ) and heavier vapor feel even when the flavor wasn't there ( yet ) for me.

If either the W2V juice changes to something I care for... or I acquire a taste for flavors like they provide... or I won't be ordering from them again. I wasn't into cigars and it appears many of theirs are tailored for those that do. Of course, the one's I have aren't steeped any at all, so I'll keep an semi-open mind towards them. I have a friend that does like at least certain cigars, so if they don't work for me, I'll pass those onto him to try and if they do change to my liking, I'll pass him some samples at the least.

I did uncap my MOV's last night... I'm not certain if I feel up to trying them tonight or not. I ended up working a 16hr day yesterday and didn't get to bed until 2am... not something this ole' fart is used to anymore... :D

Some of the descriptions of vape liquids on here sound like wine tasting. Has me howling. Slight subtle aroma of peach that sort of rolls out of your mouth evenly, but not too heavily, with contrasting undertones of apple, which blends together in exquisit delight. The distinction between the flavors, coupled with the not overpowering, but not underwhelming hint of Virginia tobacco creates an absolutely fantastic Sunday evening vape.

that's right! :pervy: that's how we do over here.... well depending on who's typing. :D

It looks like you have it down pretty good too, JF. Impressive! Can't wait to hear some of your thoughts!

Yeah, they are great... It was those "cork sniffin'" descriptions that are helping me learn to recognize what flavor notes that I like in my vapes... They are not only helpful, but educational also... Of course, if someone is not looking to learn something, perhaps they aren't for them.

I'm just waiting for the phrase: "tastes like tobacco smoke". Haven't heard that one yet.

I'm a part-time mixing engineer. I LOVE the sound of real analog gear - mixing desks, compressors, EQ's, reverbs, echoes, etc. Unfortunately, I don't have endless amounts of dough to purchase these things. So, what do I do? I seek out the best analog emulation software that I can find, and pay 1%, 5%, 10% of the price of the real-world analog counterpart. Digital may never be able to fully recreate analog, but it gets me 90-95% of the way there. I've come to accept this and embrace it. I've also come to realize that digital has many advantages over analog, and offers certain things that analog can't.

So it goes with burning tobacco and NET's.

Well, you got more stuff than I do. All I have now is a presonus studiolive 16.4.2 which I use as a recording interface and an imac and logic pro. I prefer to just write and play the music we do, but I'm also our producer, recording engineer, etc... and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing really. Been around the old stuff forever, know what it does, but was never hands on. Was always someone else doing it. Decided to get into the digital stuff like I am now. Basically have nobody to do the recording of my band. Nobody else wants to chip in to pay for a real project, so I just do it. If you heard our recordings, as an engineer, you'd puke. But listeners can't really tell the difference. Especially with MP3's now.
