You've probably read this before but trying to find a juice that replicates a burning cigarette (any brand) is a bit like hunting unicorns. Probably not going to find one. I soon discovered that I enjoyed the taste of the tobacco more than the taste of a cig. No burning paper, ash, etc., just the tobac. Now I'm liking juices that are nothing like what I smoked.

Have you considered buying some nicotine concentrate and spiking the flavor you already like?

Yes I'm leaning that way, its 16mg and I want to bring it up to 24mg. the flavor comes in 10ml bottles so I am not sure how much nicotine to add without over doing it.

Also keep in mind that regardless of whether it's a Tobacco Absolute or a NET, most if not all Tobacco flavours need a good long steep. How old is the juice you bought?

Yes I heard about that, I just got it today so I'm hoping the sweetness of it will fade soon. I do taste maybe a hint of nut and tobacco, but its very hard to tell with all the sweetness of it.

Shane.... I'll add my two cents in as well..

One of the things I finally noticed ( wasn't looking before ) is that cigs don't have complex flavors even though many are a blend of non-aromatic tobacco's... they are still a simple almost one note flavor...

For my own search... I've been leaning hard towards 4 NET's available from MyVapeJuice ... The lightest in flavor is Savage, then comes Rogue or My Hero and finally Country Squire... I got them all in the original mixes... These are darker flavored but I wouldn't say nutty by any means.

Another vendor that I liked but their tobac's were a bit more interesting ( complex flavored ) but still a straight up flavor is GoodeJuice's House Brewed line. I think that Wild Turkey may be the closest to the direction you may like ( but again, not nutty )... Patriot is also good but has a bit of cocoa flavor in it, Natural Perique is really good but some find it a quirky flavor. Arcadian Gold is a really nice one as well but on the lighter side.


Oooh... another thought... If you find an e-liquid that is just the nutty flavor you like by itself... you can also add that to whatever other e-liquid to see if you can get a bit closer to your liking.

What did you choose for pg/vg ratio? Did you choose the adding sweetner option?

I got them at is and 50/50 and they gunked coil at a normal rate for a dark juice, but still seemed pretty clean. I think the Vivi's need higher pg juices, but never used them.

Shane, in my experience there are two cig-alike juices that leave all others in the dust: Want2Vape Morley and The Plume Room M-Type. They have that awful nasty ashiness that we used to inhale all day long. Try them in small bottles, although you'll likely realize this is a classic case of "be careful what you wish for"

Definitely take Luce up on the Cigarillos offer...there aren't many better nutty tobaccos out there.

Sweetener can speed up the gunking a bit. As clean as the MVJ juices are, any juices that dark I tend to have to clean up my coils sooner.

I'm glad I'm ordering post increase then, because I ordered extra flavourshot at GeJ.. not a fan of mild juices.

Going to check out Plume Room. Fingers crossed for Canada shipping..

Dude lets know how that works out. I really like GeJ but with most of them the flavor is on the weak side for my taste except patriot! I didn't even think of asking Nick for that. If love FC, VB and NP with extra flavor!!

Been Vaping Gold Rising today and I'm not crazy about Ahlusions non aromatics except SC, but damn this one is good. It is a pretty sweet vape with a nice honey flavor. I might add I don't really get much tobacco from this if any but Im still liking it quite a bit!

I'm looking forward to that one. It got booted off the big RY4 list because they went honey tobacco instead of vanilla and caramel, but Bill gave it a pretty good rank I believe.

I wonder if the sweetness will lessen and the tobacco make more of a showing after several weeks like SC.

Very possible. I don't mind the sweetness but as far as the tobacco I don't get much tobacco from any of the A+ non aro's. I don't know if I need to drink more water or get new tastebuds but my biggest problem with various Net vendors is lack of flavor in the tobacco department. Like MvJ and MoV, the tobacco flavor just isn't there to me at all. MVJ just tastes very very bland to me. Some of GeJ liquids come across the same way. I wish this wasnt the case!

Wowsa; either Legend has evolved since I tried it a few days ago or there's some flavor aquisition going on, or maybe I'm just in the right mood for it, but it's knock-my-socks off good right now. I think I'll be finishing todays vape session with this.

I find that it changes dramatically between weeks 2 and 3, with the cherry (to me and quite a few others) notes becoming more prominent and the sweetness that you may detect initially lessens, the overall vape becomes drier and more prominently tobacco-like. It's my most authentic fruit-flavored pipe tobacco-like vape that I've had yet. Back when I was a jarhead, I occasionally smoked cherry pipe tobacco, and this one is spot on, imo. I'm really glad you are digging it now!

I find that it changes dramatically between weeks 2 and 3, with the cherry (to me and quite a few others) notes becoming more prominent and the sweetness that you may detect initially lessens, the overall vape becomes drier and more prominently tobacco-like. It's my most authentic fruit-flavored pipe tobacco-like vape that I've had yet. Back when I was a jarhead, I occasionally smoked cherry pipe tobacco, and this one is spot on, imo. I'm really glad you are digging it now!

My HHV order is only a week old, still fresh. I liked it right away, that's why it got an early release from the steep box, but it's noticably (or psychologically) even better. Tobacco still mild but tasty. Glad to hear the cherry gets stronger, that's what I liked about it right away. Cherry it up!

TCP I agree with you that GR is the best Ahlusion non-aro. As you know, I am a slave to their aromatics (and also the fruits and desserts and teas) but the non-aros have never agreed with me, with the exception of Gold Rising and Maple River Tree Blend and JG Blend. I have a bottle of Jungle Juice from my latest order that I had high hopes for, given that I love banana. But it tastes just like House Blend or maybe Desperado or Dealmaker . Of course I will keep steeping it, but I'm not very hopeful.

Dusty, have you had the arti-bacco Swish Sweet from HHV? I'm curious if it's going to change with a steep. The black cherry was too chapstick-y for me at first but I'm growing into it. I still don't taste any tobacco notes but it'll be nice if they show with age, otherwise treating it like a straight-up fruit vape.

I went through a tank of it, and found it too sweet for my palette as well. This was with a 3 week steep about a month or so ago. I'll put it into play again tomorrow and see if it has changed and report back.
