GeJ's Fire-Cured. Impressions anyone?

You inspired me Bronze. This is another 'straight up' tobacco from GeJ as are Arcadian Gold, Wild Turkey and Natural Perique.
I'm not including Wrangler Light (Cocoa), Organic (Pine & Chocolate or Licorice), Vita Bella (VANILLA!!!) and Patriot (We only wish we knew)!!!
I don't pretend to have ESP (Extraordinary Sensory Perception) but this is the 'Baddest Of The Bunch' yet reminiscent of Patriot and Vita Bella.

VB and Pat are my two most favorite GeJ's. Think I'll have to take Fire-Cured out for a spin on my next GeJ order. Thanks for the input Nomo.

Mann (LOL), what would the "Blow-Your-Head-Off" factor be with FC?

It's kinda hard to say considering your take on VB; but, if you can get down with some of QN's tobaccos, I would rate (for you) the blow-your-head-off factor from 1-10 at 8-8.5 when fresh; a 7-8 well steeped; and a 6-7 long term steep. For me it was about a 7.5-8 fresh and now after 5 months or so, it's about a 5.5-6. Of course my scale and perception of your perceived scale is subject to great miscalculations.

That makes for a good reference since I know you like yours a bit more "Blow-Off-Your-Head" than I do. That said, I find Vita Bella a perfect balance and an outstanding smoke juice all around. A long steep is becoming on a GeJ juice.

Oh, and before I forget my (Mann)ers...hi and congratulations on your brand new addition.

It doesn't really blow my head off, but it might yours. :D. It depends on whether or not you're ready to have some Latakia on your plate. It's a very unusual flavor, but knowing how it's cured can make it easier to digest. It is not very overpowering in this juice, but if one isn't ready for the flavor it may seem that way. Just approach it with an open mind.

Thanks! I don't know what it is about GeJs steeping--that is what I was referring to with the "It's kinda hard to say considering your take on VB" statement--but they seem to not just steep, but almost fold over onto themselves like they're kneading the elements by charging and re-charging 'til it reaches a perfect point for its consumer.

Will do. An open mind is one thing I have learned to do with smoke juice...especially GeJ. In fact, I fully expect to dislike FC the first time I try it (I liked neither Patriot or Vita Bella on my first two or three attempts). But I know age does GeJ well.

Thanks Nick.

BTW, I find Patriot to come of age much sooner than Vita Bella. Where would you rank FC? Apple Cured was good to go quickly and Natural Perique perhaps a bit longer than Pat and AC. To each their own but I still find it hard to believe no one could notice a difference between 2 week VB and 3-month VB. Two totally different profiles IMO.

Does the Sahara Blend have the infamous dirty sock roomnote at all? I know it's authentic to Turkish tobacco , but it's something I could do without. It's one of the reasons I still gravitate toward artificial Turkish flavored TA blends....no stinky roomnote and the watered down TA being derived from Turkish tobacco makes it still comes off as pretty natural-like.

VB provided me three completely separate experiences in the course of its steeping process. BTW, the bottle of VB I received was, indeed, the same as previous VB (as you said it would). Fantastic smoke juice. Oh, and Sasha was kind to send me some W2V's version of Kuba Kuba. As soon as I opened the bottle it reminded me of my fathers cologne...way back in the 60's. Vaped like it too. I can only imagine QnJ's version of KK is similar??

No dirty sock in the least bit.

Yep. I went back and forth with that one. I liked it and almost craved it, but I didn't receive much actual vaping pleasure form it. How that works is beyond me.
