I think I'm done testing for tonight. ;)

Closing notes on CI Cigar: Definitely in the same league as Blondie, slightly bitter, slightly spicy TH, with an infusion of tobacco. The coffee is more like a Turkish coffee than an Espresso. Could vape this occasionally. 3 stars.

Coffee in CI Cigar? You might be confusing CI with Coffee-Infused Cigar from W2V. That one's also from Drew Estate infused cigar called Tobak Especial, but not in the ACID line. Much more like a regular cigar but with coffee and cocoa notes. CI Cigar is from the ACID called Cold-Infusion Tea, which includes green tea along with the other flavors infused.

Either way, glad you dig CI Cigar.

Good to know I'm not losing my mind. CannedWolf, have you tried Halo Captain Jack yet? Mann sent me some and I vaped like 5ml in 2 hours. Very nice flavor and like all of the halo juice I have tried, they all seem very good right out of the bottle (no steep). Is Halo even considered a NET or just a really good synth?

Halo baccos are lab made synthetics. Captain Jack is one of only a couple I haven't tried from them, may have to give it a try. Have you had Tribeca yet? It's Halo's RY4 and is really good. Longhorn is a decent arti-bacco too.

I definitely have - Halo was one of the first that I stumbled upon when I started looking for flavors (I started this journey on a V2 and quickly started looking for more when it wasn't quite cutting it for me). During the day, I tend to alternate between Prime/Duke and 2 - 3 others. I always have Captain Jack with me and, depending on my mood, Midnight Apple (which I was leery of at first but, do like - just not as an ADV). Some of the others are OK but, not spectacular (like Longhorn and Torque - decent, just not ADV for me).

I am not 100% sure but, I believe that I read earlier in this thread that Halo was not NET - just a good synth

That's my first review on this thread and it was of Captain Jack. It's not an NET, but it was a great introduction to tobaccos for me, even if it is a synth.

Good goodness! The new blood is flowing and has great circulation. Thanks to all the fresh palates on the scene.

And, at the risk of it turning into a "love in", thanks to the veterans for being so helpful. I've lurked on the forum for a few months but, didn't create an account until earlier this week. I wanted to make sure that the helpfulness and sense of community that I saw wasnt contrived before jumping in the fray.

There are a few other forums that I stumbled upon that were... um... less than ideal - you couldn't pay me enough to participate in them. Case in point, I was searching around to see how folks labeled their carts/tanks/etc. I have been tasting a lot over the past month or so and it is a bit difficult to keep everything straight in my head - the printer labels weren't sticking to my clearos well enough and so, I went on a search. The a fore mentioned forum had someone that asked the same question in a thread and was subsequently torn apart for being so stupid that they needed to write things down... not my kind of place. (I use wire markers and a mini moleskine now for anyone that is interested :) )

It has been very much the opposite here for which I am grateful.

So as long as I have an audience, what are your impressions of W2V Paris. Got some of this while waiting on your package Mann and all I taste is campfire smoke. Just gauging how my taste buds compare to all of yours.

To me it tasted like worn leather, but I just adored Paris for being such a great cigarette vape (although it is a Euro cig).

This is from my first posts (the 3rd one) on the first day I posted in this thread:

This thread has inspired me to not vape blindly, and to try new liquids and vendors; so for that, I say "thank you!" I know someone may disagree with my findings, but I am really just starting to truly appreciate tobacco juices and I will eventually sort out the good from the better. ;)

There is still a lot that I could figure out, but for the purposes of vaping, I pretty much know what what I need to know...at least for the time being.

Interesting. Never tried a euro smoke so I can't comment. From what I've tried from your batch and what I have vaped up until now, Wild Turkey IMHO seems to most closely resemble a analog. Close second would be Freedom Juice. I'm anxious to try the Wrangler and Patriot as they are advertised to be of same type.

The bottle that I have IS called Tabak Cigar! Is that not the same as CI Cigar, then?!

Edit: I just went back to W2V's site and saw that they actually have a CI Cigar and a Coffee Infused Cigar..

So, Tabak Cigar = Coffee Infused Cigar. Got it, check!

You got it! Your bottles would be from before the name change when they used the real cigar's name.

In the last few days my whole paradigm on vaping has changed. The convergence of using Rebuildables along with a windfall of fine contemporary NET juices from the best vendors has illustrated to me the radical developments in the world of vaping in the last 18 months. I feel like I’ve come out of some sort of hibernation. Up until a few days ago I was still vaping yesteryear’s crop of the lot such as Alien Visions, Backwood Brew and Vaperite. My last orders were made back when naturally extracted tobaccos were just starting out back when Want2Vape, Vaperite and a handful of other vendors were naturally extracting their tobaccos.

It’s been an exciting few days. It has very fortuitous to have met Scarf-ace on ECF. Within days she mailed out to me the following liquids:

Mountain Oak Vapor – Southern Gentleman
Mountain Oak Vapor – Pendragon
Ahlusion – Blue Grass Burley
Ahlusion – Honey Cured Tobacco
Ahlusion – Smooth Criminal
Ahlusion – Depserado
Ahlusion – Vecchio blend (with strong tobacco)
Ahlusion – Deal Maker
Ahlusion – Masala Chai
Velvet Cloud Vapor – Burley Beard Tobacco Blend
Plume Room – Candied Cavendish
Plume Room – Marlboro T
MyVapeJuice – County Squire
Tasty Vapor – tobacco
Halo – Bella Valente
Alice in Vapeland – Frost Blossom
Virgin Vapor – Dark Side of the Moon
Alice in Vapeland – (don’t know. Label has faded)
Niteline Vapor – Sundance
Niteline Vapor – NLV Waffles
Ramon Allones Celestial (Scarf-ace’s home brew!)
Carmen RYO tobacco (Scarf-ace’s home brew)
Borkum riff vanilla Cavendish – (Scarf-ace’s home brew)
Honey almond oolong.
Ginger 50% (No other info)

Let’s just say, that when I opened the package I was like a kid just handed a bunch of toys. I was gripped with excitement. Half of these vendors don’t deliver to Australia and I was particularly disappointed to find out that Ahlusion didn’t. In coming days and weeks I am going to review these liquids. As a disclaimer my testing of these liquids has been affected by ups and downs in taste sensitivity (I’ve vaped a lot lately trying these liquids), mixing liquids in atty’s (which invariably happens when you are eager to try a whole host of new liquids) and the set up I am using (I’ve got my good old reliable German VKS atty’s but have started to use RBa’s like AGA-T2 and the Phoenix.

So far I have tried a handful of them. One thing is for certain. These good quality NET’s deserve to be vaped in RBA atty’s. Putting them in cartos, normal atty’s, clearos or anything else does them no justice. There is one caveat to this. Mini Novas have amazing flavor and really bring out the best in these juices. I am sure Kangas and BCC Mega’s most likely are similar but I would never hesitate to fill up a Mini Nova with a good quality NET juice.

Plume Room Candied Cavendish – one of my favourites in a long list of favourites. This was one of my first experiences with the new generation of liquids. It’s a delicious blend of tobacco, sweet and spice, almost indistinguishable in it’s individual flavours. This stuff is kind of like my all day dessert vape. 4 out of 5.

Ahlusion – Blue Grass Burley and Honey Cured – my immediate reaction was WOW. It’s like someone mulched up a bunch of tobacco leaves (or grasses) and extracted a liquid out of them. The flavor hit me, the likeness to tobacco had me enraptured. I had an idea in my head how I expected Ahlusion aromatics to taste based on the site’s review and user comments on ECF and my expectations were quite high. Well, those expectations were thusly met and maybe even exceeded. I love these aromatics! 4.5 out of 5.

Ahlusion – Smooth Criminal – Nice. Not so aromatic. Detected subtle traces of chocolate or nuttiness. Plenty of vapor, slightly muted on flavor. Very satisfying. Good kick in the throat when you need nic.

MOV – Southern Gentlemen – tastes more like a very good synthetic but I haven’t really given it a good tryout in a decent RBA. 3 out of 5. (But must give it another chance in a better vaping device).

MyVapejuice - County Squire – This one particular juice is to cigars or cigarillos, what BGB is to burley tobaccos. This juice knocked my socks off for how close it tasted to a cigar. If I closed my eyes and didn’t know what I was breathing in, I would think I had a cigarillo in my mouth. I have never heard of Myvapejuice but I was instantly impressed by this juice. Good vapor, throat hit and that likeness to cigars. Magic. 4.5 out of 5.

I figured mastering the RSST should help with setting up the AGA. If not, I'll get more RSSTs! I read on another thread where TCP said the RSST was the best out there so I knew it had to be good!

So Dusty, how is testing so many flavors going?

The RSST is the best Chinese genesis tank I have found. The AgA-t2 is close begins. Dusty is right that the RSST is easier to set up without a short. This is mainly because of the wick and coil being closer to the positive post and a big help with this is the washer. I would still recommend getting some slightly larger washers (M3) to use on both the RSST and AGA-T2. It was impossible to set up the T2 and not get a hot top coil until I put a washer in between the nuts on the positive post. Hope this helps and if you don't have access to washers and need a more immediate solution I have another suggestion.

Very nice!

Now, I'm even more excited - about 1/2 of your list are in the mail on their way here right now. I've had a few from there but, not many... and it looks like there are more I need to add to my list :)

My want to try list just got longer! I wish it spoke the same language as my wallet

I tried teaching my wallet another language to make the process easier... alas, it isnt working :D

I read somewhere that credit card companies assign a zip code to each card. When you order online, the delivery zip code must match the "assigned" zip code. This may be part of the problem some of you guys are having with international credit card acceptance. Check with the vendors and/or cc provider to clear up any problems. If that doesn't work, and for vendors that don't ship internationally, you might need to use a "juice mule". Hope this helps.

It is really great to see all the newer people participating in this thread. Hope all of you enjoy the journey as much as I have.

So far the Plume Room tobaccos are pretty disappointing. I'm struggling to find any semblance of tobacco in these juices.

Andrea has been under the gun quite a bit lately as she is trying to expand. Have you tried a cap-off steep for a day or two?

Personally, I can taste every bit of the tobacco extracts she uses, especially the Cavendish. I did find that with one order I had to steep it a bit to let the other flavorings mellow out a bit.

In fact, I just placed yet another order for the Candied Cavendish and the Burley and Candy. They are a nice in-between mix with BGB and DD. Have you tried her Chai Latte yet? Nice morning vape with coffee or tea. I'm a huge fan of Grant's Vanilla Custard too. Outstanding after dinner vape. Ok, getting a bit off-topic here. Sorry. ;-)

They are only about a week old so I will give them some time. The cap off two day steep was debunked quite some time ago. Taking the caps off for a min or two each day and most importantly shaking them does the job. I just don't get ANY tobacco right now. All I taste is the added flavors. As far as the Burley and Candy as well as the Candied Cavendish. The Turkish twist is very perfumey and tasted rather synthetic. The M-type taste like a straight synthetic tobacco I won't be revisiting that one. The others I will give some time and come back to. Who knows I may love them in a month.
