They are only about a week old so I will give them some time. The cap off two day steep was debunked quite some time ago. Taking the caps off for a min or two each day and most importantly shaking them does the job. I just don't get ANY tobacco right now. All I taste is the added flavors. As far as the Burley and Candy as well as the Candied Cavendish. The Turkish twist is very perfumey and tasted rather synthetic. The M-type taste like a straight synthetic tobacco I won't be revisiting that one. The others I will give some time and come back to. Who knows I may love them in a month.

TPR was definately steepers for me, at least a good month before they lost kind of an odd, chemical flavor note. Turkish Twist never lost it, and while at times I found it interesting, in the end it's a juice that's one of my most disliked ever. Burley & Candy and Candied Cavendish I liked while they lasted, but only got a hint of tobacco from each. Honey-Fig tobacco was the most unique, and one I want to re-order. Smooth & Mild, while an arti-bacco, was the biggest winner for me. I love that juice.

Debunked by whom? Works quite often for me. Guess it comes down to subjectivity. ;)

Not so much debunked, but was the opinion of a vendor that it oxidizes the juice too much. I'm not so sure, I did the 2 day cap off for a long time without any ill effect. I stopped doing it just because I don't need my juices to steep quicker than they normally do with time. I'm still of the thought that guesses of what's going on with steeping and what's the best way to do it are only that, guesses.

If you are looking for just tobacco flavours in that they actually taste like cigarettes or cigars and like natural extractions then ahlusions is where you should be looking and I highly recommend MyVapejuice. Give them a try.

So far the Plume Room tobaccos are pretty disappointing. I'm struggling to find any semblance of tobacco in these juices.

So as long as I have an audience, what are your impressions of W2V Paris. Got some of this while waiting on your package Mann and all I taste is campfire smoke. Just gauging how my taste buds compare to all of yours.

I've dripped a little bit of this while waiting for it to steep. It definitely has that non-American cigarette taste down. I believe the description compares it to Gauloises and Gitanes. It reminded me of DuMaurier cigarettes. My bottle has been steeping since March 1, so it should be ready for a proper review soon.

They are there, just so well-blended they are a bit inconspicuous. I know that because I have tried Candied Cavendish and Banana Pudding side-by side, and once you have that frame of reference it is obvious.

Having said that, I coulda told you you that The Plume Room wouldn't be to your taste. Don't bother waiting anymore, just send them across the Pacific for safe disposal

Debunked probably wasn't the right word.

You may just find Ahlusion to be about your speed ;)

Debunked probably wasn't the right word.

At worse, the 2 day cap off could be considered possibly damaging. In my case it just ended up being.. unnecessary. For me though, just about all tricks to speed up the aging process is mostly unnecessary. The bottle gets shaken and caps removed when I drip them, which is many times in the life of a bottle.

What the hell is with the QNJ Kuba Kuba?! I need to take a break and flush out my mouth. Not a very appealing vape at all. :(

I could have spared you on Kuba Kuba. Scarfy sent me some from Want2Vape and it was, let's say, shocking. I'm glad Scarf sent it to me because it spared me from having to buy it from QnJ. It's unique to be sure. :)

What did ya' get?

It's my first order from them so, I went with the sampler and picked up as many as I could. I figured I'd go after their coffee flavors as well so - the Blond, Analog Mild, Morley, Red Pirate, CI Cigar, Alcazar, Smokey Clove, Campfire Coffee, Creamy Espresso, 555, plus 3 Vapenstein (London, Louisville, and Paris).

I am fairly sure I wont like the creamy espresso or 555 but, I needed a couple to fill the sampler and I figured I'd give them a go.

Will try a few tonight then let them steep for a bit...

Cant wait to get home :)

at last my HHV (and my first dip into NETS) arrive after a long long journey.
I ordered serendipity, legend and huntsman. it was sent on march 20 to a san diego ca address I was going to be staying for the week but the mailman thought the house was vacant so was returned. after paying extra delivery it was sent to me back to mexico where I'm from but I somehow messed up the house number so I had to get a new number to put it until the mailman arrived and ! week ago i received it! I was really exited and thought that the long journey had some steeping effects.
at first I tried huntsman, the first few vapes where good but then became nauseating and too much perfumey.. then tried serendipity with the same outcome.
the have been sitting for a week now (with 2 nights caps off) and still feel the same as the first day.
do they need more steeping? or am I not the NET kind of guy (please tell me the fist one!!!)?

Give them time, sometimes it takes a bit to adjust to new flavors and they will change with age. Worst case is you're not an HHV guy, but may prefer other styles of NETs.

Personally, I'd put the caps on and let them steep for at least another month. Be sure to shake the bottles every day. If that's too long for you to wait, I think you could get away with two weeks.

I had to give up on the idea of shaking every day for a month, because I always forget lol. I do it one day, the next I think, meh, I'll do it tomorrow, and then 2 weeks later I think of it. I need a box that automatically shakes for a couple minutes every day. Or well trained children.
