**mental note - let's try not to answer a question that wasn't asked or use an incorrect abbreviation. :D

To reiterate, QNJ gets an additional blue star of awesomeness for their handling of my order.

Quick Nic juice Initial impressions

Grandpa's Nightcap - Relatively complex composition - very smooth with a hint of sweetness. I get a very slight bit of fruit and a very slight bit of smoke/roasty flavor on a medium-ish tobacco. Looking forward to this one opening up.

Original tobacco - bit sharp on the draw but, not too much so. Slightly nutty flavor with a bit of butter maybe... not sure. Roasted undertones in a mild tobacco.

Fired in Georgia - Tastes like Original Tobacco is used for the base with a bit of smoke (not too much) and a light hint of peach. The peach doesn't taste like candy either which is nice.

RY4 - Tastes slightly of Original Tobacco with heavy vanilla on the draw. I get a bit of a floral hint along with the caramel at the peak and exhale. overall well balanced

Habanna Daydream - Light peat, earthy front with a hint of smoke on the exhale. I have had cigars that taste almost exactly liek this - very true flavors.

Clove Cove - Bit of spice on the inhale with a light pepper and clove. Very reminiscent of a light clove cigarette - the tobacco is on the lighter side. needs a bit more steeping.

Proudest Monkey - heavy candy banana... does taste of laffy taffy to me. hint of cream or lighter vanilla on a light tobacco base. Slight roasty flavor on the exhale

Kuba Kuba - Grass on the inhale, super light peat, a bit mossy. Tastes like the first weekend in the yard - bit of earth mixed with grass. The flavors are muted - definitely needs steeping

Our Why Quatro - RY4 signature with an olde tyme vanilla instead of vanilla extract, bit of honey. This tasted to me like an olde tyme vanilla waffle cone

And on the Ahlusion gift I received:
Vurley - bit earthy, decent hit of vanilla on the exhale mixed with a slight roasty flavor - rich tobacco base. Balanced composition that hits well with no funky aftertaste.

Go for it D. It tastes like pepperoni, macaroni and cheeze, and hockey.

(Don't worry Hula, I know what Canadians like)

Jerms, you are one of a kind.

Anyway, this just in:

I have come to the conclusion that Blue Grass Burley is not only a must have in my stash (as if that wasn't already known), it is like Olivia Pope from Scandal: it is a fixer! I have found that several "tobacco" or tobacco juices I have that lack that certain je ne sais quoi, can be fixed with a subtle drop on a coil of BGB. The funny thing is that I don't even have to consciously do it, as long as BGB was in the atty first, all of the sudden all of these non-tobacconese speaking juices become, maybe not fluent in, but at least able to speak the conversational language of tobacco...but with their own flare.

In related news, White Beard Tobacco from VCV with it's custard top notes (very subtle) and whatever tobacco they use works quite nicely with Bounty Hunter. It may not be as seamless as my Gold Rising and Blue Beard Tobacco mix, but it does add some tobacco essence (though not a lot of added taste) to BH. I know that BH and Vita Bella work almost seamless together, but it is almost so seamless that the VB doesn't impart the bottom (bass notes) like WBT does. Just my findings as I vape the night away.

Nice. I can't wait (yes I can) to see your follow-ups. You've got a lot of them!

I think we have similar findings. Although, ouR whY qu4to was a home-run for me with fireworks to boot. I don't know if it was or wasn't for you, but I couldn't contain my awe. Unfortunately, that awesomeness sort of ended after time (steeping), but it was exciting in the beginning.

I do have quite a few followups :) I should be able to start doing some of those here shortly. I am very much looking forward to it - my current set of daily vapes is starting to taste a little bland and uninteresting in comparison. They just need to hurry up and steep!

I was surprised to learn that QNJ only recommends 7 days steep time. Unless it completely falls apart, Grandpa's Nightcap will be acquired. I really enjoyed that one.

Both of the RY derivatives they have are definitely some of the better ones I've had. The ouR wHy qu4tro was very good - not sure I will buy that one... but, I definitely want to see how it opens up. It's clear that they took time to come up with a different take on it.

There are a few on the cusp that will depend on how they open but, overall, I am very pleased with these. Dare I say I like this lineup better than W2V for my tastes - not to take away from W2V - those juices are very impressive in their composition and flavor compliments. To me, they are more of a 'special occasion' vape. They strike me as vapes to have after a good steak along with a nice port. The primary difference being most of the ones from QNJ, I could vape whenever.

See, I too find QnJ to be the more approachable W2V-like juices. I am not sure who ever agreed, but I found QnJ to be, I dunno, more like W2V than any other NET maker, but more enjoyable. I know Wlad told me that Vapenstein and Donlley were huge inspirations in his creations, but I think that inspiration is where it ended. Sure, DD can be compared to London, and for the sake of argument, Apache from MOV can be compared to BGB and DD, but the aros are just incomparable to other NETs (not to say better or worse, just in-comparable).

I will eventually get more QnJ because, as I have said, they don't mess up my coils and when I want that W2V type feeling, it would save me stress to reach for QnJ over W2V.

Nice QnJ review CW. I shared similar impressions. Though I found the banana to be faint in Proudest Monkey. The flue cured base really works for me in this one.

much appreciated.

I dont know if I'm sensitive to banana flavor or what but, it hit me really hard - almost drowned out the tobacco.

I do know that most creams/vanilla extracts (not the ones I typically refer to as olde tyme but, the more standard vanillas)/and simulated fruits hit me hard, are very upfront, and I dont particularly like them - for me, they drown out the other flavors. There are a few exceptions but, not many.

I've not had the aromatics yet but, I completely agree with the W2V comments. They are definitely in my top 3 vendors now... and that's before steeping. :)

As far as I am concerned, Bronze gets the Gold for QnJ being even talked about in this thread! Proudest Monkey was the only big miss from QnJ for me, but out of all that I had, that is a great percentage of hits.

Well then, I'm tossing kudos that way as well! I had a fantastic experience with them (fast order fulfillment, the whole RY4 gift, and the hand written note int he order) along with the flavor... bang up job.

Yeah, when I tried QnJ I felt like a dope for passing on them. I think it was why some have passed on GeJ--simple prejudices for what could be construed as silly names for the site ("Quicknic" or "Goodejuice"). I know, I know, that is goofy to judge on something like that.

It is goofy but, to a certain extent, I get it. I almost didnt order from GeJ because of the website honestly. I think that is part of why Halo and some of the other juice vendors get so much press - if the website looks good, it is assumed the product is good as well. Sometimes this is true but, others not so much.

i wouldn't have found most of these suppliers without the recommendations here so, I am very much grateful.

Precisely! It works both ways, and from my experience, neither really says all that much. In the end, we find out the truth.

What am I doin'? I got a 52 minute trip out to SC (Swartz Creek) in the morning for a soft, like REALLY soft opening. Maybe just another glass and then that's it! Of course, I can guarantee you that when I get in bed, baby girl will decide to wake-up, and then I got got Dr.Seuss and the changing table. How awesome is that?!?!?! LOL
