Apologies for the length of this post.
Apologies for including non-NETs in this list.
Apologies for not including all I should apologize for
here we go.
Plume Room Initial Impressions
Plume Room sent me a 30ml of peanut Butter Cream Pie with my order - not included here but will be on the blog.
Candied Cavendish - Sweet upfront with a very small bit of cream and a banana hit. The banana isn't quite laffy taffy but not completely natural banana. The Cavendish is a bit light but, you can taste it on the exhale.
Toasted Turkish Twist - THis one was a bit sweet to me as well. Well balanced and smooth and can taste a light tobacco. Bit of roasted flavor on the inhale peak and a bit in the exhale
Burley and Candy - This hit me as very sweet with the burley almost overpowered by the fruit. I couldn't decipher many specific fruits but, did get a bit of sweet peach. The tobacco came off medium and at the end of the inhale. Definitely sweet upfront.
eVo
These are artificial and produced by the same lab as Halo. I will not include the 3 of them here but, they will be on the blog.
Mountain Oak Vapors
3 gold and 6 solvers were tasted. I am including them all here. Most of these are well balanced and need more steeping to bring out the flavors.
Applewood - slightly sweet. Hints of apple balanced with the tobacco - tobacco is a lighter tobacco and includes a bit of roasted, nutty high points
Smooth and Mild - hint of sweetness. I get a bit of coffee tones in this one with a hint of nuttiness on the exhale. The tobacco is very light but, balances well.
Blue Ridge - similar light tobacco as what is in applewood but more pronounced only with blueberries and a bit less roasted/nutty tones. Slightly sweet.
Black Forest - Liquorice up front with a hint of spice at the inhale peak - Sweet but, not saccharine sweet. Mild tobacco on the exhale. The liquorice is fairly heavy and over-rides the bits of cream and caramel you get as almost an aftertaste
MOV Gold - This tastes like Smooth and Mild with floral notes and a bit of honey. Sweet and relatively smooth. The flavors are a bit jumbled but, should steep out.
555 - Light tobacco flavor with nuttiness covered with a slightly sweet overtone. Clearly the same base as smooth and mild.
Pendragon - Slightly sweet with a light olde tyme vanilla on the inhale. The cherry is very muted at the moment but, i get hints on the exhale. The tobacco is mild and balanced. Should open up well
Southern Gentleman - hint of peatiness with light smoke and roasted flavors. I am getting some almost bourbon notes and a bit of perfumy hits - I expect the perfumy nature to steep out. The tobacco is mediumish bodied with some pronounced notes of almost a hint of pipe tobacco.
Apache - heavier peat base with heavier smoke and a hint of cigar wrapper. Earthy during and at the peak of the inhale. The flavor composition is similar to Paris but, more smooth like Louisville.
HHV
These are well balanced but, need more steeping.
Shadow - light tobacco with a bit of sweetness. I get some either cream (cooking cream not coffee cream or desert topping) or french vanilla... not sure which.
Serendipity - Sweeter with hints of caramel maybe? A bit of spice and almost a black tea flavor on the exhale. light to medium tobacco base that should open nicely.
Sludge - This tasted like Serendipity was mixed with Dark Horse with a bit of honey. There are spice notes, deeper tobacco flavor than Serendipity, and a decent tobacco exhale
Ahlusion
I did some teas and another coffee as well as the 3 tobaccos below. Check the blog for notes.
Devil Dog - peaty and earthy with a heavy but, mellow base. not as 'sharp' as Paris - comes off as a smoother, more well composed version of Louisville to me.
Smooth Criminal - slightly sweet with a bit of a roasted flavor and a very small hint of nuttiness. Mild and, forgive me, smooth. Blended well with no one flavor overbearing the others
Peachy Criminal - guess what??? This tasted like smooth criminal with a hint of peach. I know... surprise. The peach is a bit muted at the moment.
