That was how Gandalf used to look. The one on the left was when I got extra extract and the one on the right was the original. Can anyone show me a bottle of Legend (Gandalf) now?

I have two or three bottles of it here. Never vape it. But it's all old as hell now. The Gandalf labels are still on it.

I had a sample of HHV Pirate's Booty a few weeks ago and liked it. Reminded me of a Black and Mild in some ways. I'll order it again and let it steep longer.

HHV NETs I've tried ranked:

Huntsman
Legend
Shadow
Pirate's Booty
Dark Horse
Heavenly Army
Dragon's Fire

I probably won't order HA and DF again. Serendipity and Sludge are wants but they don't have samplers for them so I am less motivated to try them right now.

Gollum is the one HHV tobacco I have not tried (and Jiggy, but I don't really count that one). Where does Gollum rank on their line-up according to those that vape their stuff a lot?

Love or hate all the way. There are no tweeners with Gollum but there are some who both love it and hate it. Me included. There are times I pick it up and it rocks my world. Other times I have to put it down. Definitely an odd juice that reflects its namesake.

Jiggy is a NET. It's anise if that's your thing.

If I were you, and not to disagree with shatner, but I do, I'd let it age another month maybe even two before you vape up your last ever DF. Give it a real shot to change your mind.

Disagree with me all you want. I take no offense. :) In fact, I was going to suggest the same. Not sure why I didn't. Massive doses of pain killers do funny things.

Sludge, as a name, still perplexes me. I am goofy enough to be turned on by a liquid with a name like that, but I also would be the first to say it doesn't sound too appealing. Is there a story on that name?

The name is a put off and piques my curiosity at the same time.

Someone mentioned honey in DF earlier. I'm wondering if I picked up honey in Smooth Criminal and mistook it for Graham Cracker (honey graham).

I got honey from DF, not sure if others do. The sweetness I got from SC that got less and less with age was in the same category of sweetness as honey/caramel/maple but not specific to one. I didn't catch any graham in SC myself.

There are hardly any "other" ingredients in SC really, but that's about as much as I know. It is one of those juices that reads as one thing, or many things, but none of those things are actually in it. I would love to see people trying to DIY that one.

So it's just tobacco?

Today I received my new Evod, Kangar Protank and Mini Vapeonly BCC. Excited to say the least. My experience with good quality BCCs started with the Vapeonly BCC (full size) and it blew me away with the way it represented the Patriot by Gej.

I have been using the same juice in each just to see how the juice varies in each mod. My chosen juice was Fire Cured by GEJ. The difference is bewildering and confusing actually, if not fascinating.

In my full sized Vapeonly BCC the flavour of the fire cured is strong, oaky, latakia-esque and plenty of ash. I was surprised at the difference in my Evod. The Evod was producing a lighter, mellow flavour and distinctive grassy notes. It is so different than I am wondering if I inadvertently picked up another juice in my Gej range in the same sized bottle. The juice flavour is written on the bottle in texter and easily comes off so, as far as I know it was Fire Cured I have used. If it is, it is amazing how different it tastes in different set ups.

Just to make sure, I also put the same juice in my Mini BCC Vapeonly, expecting deep woody tones, ashiness and latakia, similar to my full sized Vapeonly BCC but nope, the same taste as the Evod - grassy, mellow, less ashiness.

I also have Vita Bella, House Blend and Wranger Light in the same sized bottles so I am now wondering if I have mixed my juices up. I've had to re-write the labels a few times.

The juice tasted great in both of it's persuasions 1) Full sized Vapeonly BCC and 2) Protank Kangar. It's just so DIFFERENT. How can this be the same juice?

So it's just tobacco?

"Basically" is the answer I got. It may be something steeped in with the tobacco. But it's not maple, chocolate, honey, vanilla, graham cracker, or cocoa or anything along those lines. The one thing I didn't ask him was if it was some type of coffee-ish elements in it. I don't think that's it, but it's something kinda sweet and roasted.

The reason I know those flavors are not in there is that W and I played a game where he said if I could guess it he would tell me. I guessed about 20 total things and he just kept saying "nope." Then again, he has access to sooooo many extracts, it could just be something very hard to identify. You see how quickly the Cha-Yens and Yerba Mates went up on the site after TCP requested them? That's because in his vault he has more recipes and extracts than anyone could fathom (and that's a gross understatement). I am really serious.

One time I asked him if he had heard of Blue Lotus and he said he couldn't get the extract perfect "yet!" I was like,  A Blue Lotus vape would be a game changer (especially if the alkaloids were left in it)!

I really didn't experience the non-tobacco notes I've seen others pick out from Smooth Criminal. SC and Huntsman both play as straight tobaccos to me. Complex and layered, but the notes seem like tobacco notes. Even the detectable sweetness seems to come from the leaf, though only after being well aged.
