The real issue was that HHV became a huge hit and was doing a lot, a lot of business. But as CT said, using the images was no bueno.

I'm guessing WB probably hires a couple college interns who do nothing but go around looking for naming violators. The kids are all enthusiastic so when they find some guy violating they can run up to their bosses and show them how they busted someone and receive all their kudos.

"Mr. Dithers, Mr. Dithers, look what I did!"

What would you say is the optimum steep time on DF, Bronze? I too vaped Dragon Fire today. I christened my new Protank with it and I have to say, while I liked it, I didn't love it. It was on the light side on flavour and no real tobacco depth. To me I would equate it as Diet Pirate Booty. I much prefer Huntsman right now.

I am also finding that Legend and Serendipity are light on flavour. they are kinda nice really, a mellow, sort, light flavour but I just wish there was some more depth and boldness to the sweet orientation of some of the HHV juices.

All my HHV juices are about 5 weeks old.

Any insight would be great.

I can vape it after a week but it continues to improve to a month out. Ask for an extra flavor shot (in the notes section) on your next order to see if that makes it better for you. Or drip it (if you aren't already) or an rba.

I think you are onto something. The best flavour I got from all the HHV stuff was a couple of weeks ago when I was dripping into Cisco attys, a Phoenix RBA and in my AGA-T2 but since then all my attention has turned to GEJ and I haven't touched them much. I have only been using them in tanks lately, if at all.

I might take some Cisco attys to work tomorrow and vape Legend, DF and Serendipity.

I also didn't know you can get extra flavouring!

My lament is that amongst the 10 juices I got from HHV Pirates Booty was the only one I ordered a smaller bottle of and it's my favourite alongside Huntsman. Doh!

Anthony, the fact that you like PB and Huntsman does not surprise me. PB once tasted like the second iteration of Gandalf and what DF tastes like now. But no more. His latest batch of PB extract that came out around Xmas has a grassy note in it...just like Huntsman.

I thank MBV for getting me off of the analogs and their RY4 for introducing me to the world of tobacco ejuice. I just found that the fruity flavors are not my cup of tea (I use that expression even though I hate all things tea...). I think that maybe one day after my taste recovers from the analog/cigar abuse that it was put through over the years that I might return to find some fruity/non-tobacco vapes, but for now I am diving down the NET rabbit hole and not looking back (again, with the exception of my bank account which is keeping me on quite a short leash unfortunately).

I had a very similar take mostly because the "fruit" tasted of hard candy, not real fruit.

Since then, I've had fruit vapes that are exact combinations of sinking your teeth into an apple, for example - you get not only the real taste of the apple but, the slight bitterness of the skin. Once you feel up to it (and your bank account begins to recover from the first of many binges), there are a few places worth checking out for sure :)

And welcome!

I use an RBA often for my DF and it just lights up something big time. Lack of flavor is the last thing I would call DF out of my RBA.

Pirate's Booty was once my favorite before the latest iteration of extract. HHV had three juices that were near-identical...Gandalf (2nd iteration), Pirate's Booty (1st iteration), and now Dragon's Fire. And when I say near identical, I mean NEAR identical. I personally can't tell the difference between these three. But oddly, DF has changed and I'm near certain it is the one and only batch of extract ever made. It used to have a slight cakey bend to it. That cakey bend is all but gone now. I know Adam has complained that he finds his extracts change with age.

Maybe not the names, but yes, those characters were words on a page before the movie. Now when someone thinks of Gandalf they see a face. That face (as created through make-up and wardrobe) is the "property" of WB. Not to be used in any manner or for any purpose without the express written consent.

It is what it is.

I must be older than I thought. I read the books 16 times, I see a grey cloak and a beard, not a particular face. They shoulda had someone do them some drawings.

Can't. Stop. Vaping. PATRIOT!

Anyone else ever get a sort of tea flavor from it now and then??

TCP!!! Where ya been, sweets?

Everybody is feeling the Patriot love these days. I have it in my AGI and it is just beautiful. Can't say I taste tea the beverage, but maybe it is reminiscent of tea leaves...?

My experience with cigars started while deployed in 2009. The locals had a tobacco shop set up with loads of good cigars. I sampled quite a few and continued to occasionally revisit them in the years since. Now I have found that NETs can do just as good of a job at providing a very good quality tobacco taste without all of the harmful side effects. :D

Edit: I really should get back to reading, but now I am slipping as it is more engaging to actually partake in the conversation vs just reading it. LOL

Thank you for your service!! Where were you deployed?

I think you'll fit in well here. You've got a leg up on what good tobacco is supposed to taste like.

Make sure on Monday you try Ahlusion's aromatic line. I say Monday because supposedly that's when they'll be back in stock.

I deployed twice to southern Iraq. I am hoping that the bank account on Monday allows me to order some from Ahlusion (payday Friday, so we shall see). The farther into this thread I get the more I wish I had some of all of these juices in the vapebox already. At least trial-and-error shouldn't be too painful if the reviews here are any indication. Even if I get a juice that is not my forte, I am sure it will still be a good, definitely vapeable juice.

I had the same revelatory experience with Patriot in my Vapeonly Max. The cigar flavour and feel is undisputed and uncompromising. Because it such an elegant, realistic juice it can sometimes register to the taste buds like burnt atty. The ashiness of the juice is a stunning quality of it, but in a set up that produces less than pure flavour, that ashiness can come across like the juice is burning. Once the Patriot is put into a high quality tank (or in my estimation, a properly set up RBA) the flavour really comes out and what before tasted a bit like burnt atty oaky, ashy tobacco.

I have recently put Fire Cured from GEJ in my Vapeonly BCC and that juice seems to have even stronger ashiness than the Patriot. I couldn't make sense of it in other setups but like the Patriot, the flavour of it, that smokey ash, oak, latakia is coming through strong in one unified symphony of flavours.

I was NEVER a tank man because I am a dripper and like to mix things up, and also because tanks always had that plastic or metallic taste but the newer style Vapeonly and protanks are changing all of that. i have a protank on order and it should be in my mail today. I am going to start it off with Patriot and see how it compares to my Vapeonly BCC.

I hear you, I put a few drops into my CE5 to see the taste difference and it was just lacking. Like every other juice thrown into a cheap Clearomizer. Company seem to be only getting better at producing new forms of tanks and clearomizers which are catching up to the taste quality of dripping. I was about to switch over to dripping but after hearing so many drippers admitting that ProTank was very close to a good drip experience, I gave the tank system one last try and ordered two of them. You will not be disappointed with it at all. Now to load up some Organic Tobacco #1, and going to try that out as my second NET from GJ.

Vape on.

I just finished the last of GeJ's Patriot. The Vita Bella still has a couple more months to steep. Out of Bull Durham also. I'm going to crack open some Proudest Monkey from QNic using a Kanger T3 mini. The Mini is a surprise, really great vape. Grandpa's Night Cap is going in the Pro Tank and Fired in Georgia goes in the EVOD. That leaves Kuba Kuba Artemas 1.5 tank or AG2+ tank? Decisions, decisions, what's a vaper to do?

Also, the a great write-up on vaping in today's Mail from Great Britain.
