Mmmmm.... Ahlusion's Sahara Blend XPress and a pot of Costa Rica coffee is such a wonderful combination. There's nothing better in the morning than a nice NET and a cup of fine coffee.

If you like 'artisan' coffee, a buddy of mine is a coffee roaster. In my most non-biased opinion he acquires some of the best beans and his roasting technique is perfect for each different region of coffee bean he has. West Coast Roasting Company - Fine Coffee Roasters. You can't go wrong with any of the options. /shameless plug for a friend.

The night caught up to me so I'll have to try tonight.

I know it's not a NET but I trust NETizen taste buds... How is Halo Bella Valente? I may pick some up.

Honestly, I've not tried Bella Valente. If it's like most other Halo juice it carries the same base. Personally I'm not a fan of Halo. But a ton of people think they're top notch. As far as lab juice goes, I can agree with that; just not for me, though.

i had 4 week old Vita Bella in my Evod today and it tasted like it needed a lot of steeping. It tasted like all my Gej juice tasted in the first week.

I swapped it out and put Patriot. I'm with you. I think it's one of the juices that needs the longest steep.

Man I did. :)

It was very dramatic.

The Vaperite APV was a sublime blend of Agave, Prune and Vanilla as Bill has stated. It was ranked as one of the top tobacco extracts by Vapenstein in 2010. I personally loved it at the time. The Prune, Vanilla and Agave were subtle but definitely there.

I don't know how it compares now but it was one of my favourites when it first came out.

VapeRite APV---apple, peach, and vanilla??? Uh, not according to VapeRite. It's Agave, Prune, and Vanilla.

Actually, I wish it were apple, peach, and vanilla. LOL.

That's almost exactly what i got Jef and I think it's because it needs a lot more steeping. I would hazard a guess of at least 6 weeks with a daily shake up, but more optimally 3 months.

It tastes immature to me, like the flavours haven't quite set and permeated enough.

interjecting: Vita Bella in a Protank, 2.2 ohms, 4.2 volts (I like a warm vape).

lighter than I thought it would be. Sweetness on the exhale, lingering over pallet... sweetness, vanilla-y exhale... smoother. Not as complex as patriot, but definately one I could vape all day. A bit of greeness in there, too... nice.

The thing with VB is that some may like it better after a steep, maybe a long steep, but it isn't somehow wildly different from a fresh bottle. Sure, it may be more seamless in its flavor profile (the two flavors meld much better after awhile), but I never got something from it that was like it going from here to

...................here.

I did. :)

Let it steep another 4 months. :D

Because of Bill's excellent review and comparison of Savage Cocoa Blend from MyVapeJuice, I decided to dig into My Hero Black & Blue that's been steeping. I tried it last at a couple weeks steep and now it's aged about 5 weeks.

The only NETs I've had from MVJ are the 3 in the My Hero series. I really enjoy the My Hero tobacco. It's made from a simple one leaf extraction; the locally grown Connecticut broad leaf which is commonly used for cigars as the wrap and often as filler. I prefer the My Heros well aged, measured in months to get to a level I enjoy. It's a fairly simple flavor that's mainly low notes, and with age it gets richer and deeper.

The Black and Blue is the My Hero base with, you guessed it, blackberry and blueberry flavor. It's extremely well incorporated, feeling as part of the tobacco. It reminds me a bit of a flavored cigarillo. It's not bright, sour, or tangy as berry flavor sometimes is, it's mainly low notes with a little bit of medium notes and it compliments the tobacco very nicely.

When I tried it fresher, the berries were upfront and the tobacco was hidden a bit. Age has produced a total reversal; the deepness and richness of the tobacco has taken the lead while the berries have quieted down. I prefer it this way, some may prefer it fresh. I know the tobacco will continue to get deeper, so I'll vape it occasionally to let it age. There's not much "wow" to the My Heros, they are more simple anytime vapes, and some of my favorite in that category.

My Hero B&B is one of my favorites from MVJ. Diane really does a great job.

Speaking of Vurley and Sahara (and Honey, and Maple Burley . . . ) . . .

Are we still expecting those to go live on Monday?? thLate.gif

I am just now getting into my (barely two-week old) JG Blend from Ahlusion; OH MY!!! The rich dark roast coffee has finally blossomed, and it balances perfectly with the yum tobacco. Not too sweet, not bitter at all, reminds me of the "good ol' days" of that first cig with coffee in the morning! Honestly, the only thing that improves it is drinking an actual cup of dark-roasted coffee while vaping it. :) Yes, I'm in love.:laugh:

Oh, and Scarf dear, about that, um, Hindenburg thingy: what the hell is WRONG with Canberra?:laugh:

Is Sahara supposed to go live on Monday? I head that the aros are, but Sahara isn't an aro. I sure hope so to both, though!

For some reason I haven't tried JG Blend. Don't know why; I have coffee for blood.

And I must agree with the 10 titted whale. I'm an artist (glass), and I fail to see the art in 10 Tit Moby.

You really must try it: Dark Roast, unsweetened!

My mistake re: Sahara. I did not realize it was a non-aro; I'm just very very anxious to try it.

I'll order a 10ml with my next order. You should be very anxious to try Sahara. It. Is. Delicious!!! I was lucky enough that one day when ordering it was actually live. Then another time I requested it as a sample and Wlad came through. Also, Mr.Mann, being the awesome guy that he is, grabbed a bottle of 30ml Sahara XPress when visiting the store. Knowing that I love it, he offered it to me. I'm actually vaping it now. Thanks again, Mr.Mann!!!

As a coffee nerd, I want to give these guys a try. Are those prices for 12 ounces or a full pound? Also, do you know where in California they ship from?

All over the place
JG Blend is a sleeper. It really does work authentically on both the tobacco and coffee front. What I really like about it is that the coffee does not taste of a normal coffee flavoring but, I dunno, coffee. I also like that you can order dark or light roast.

I can't believe that I have not ordered more of this juice, but it's so easy to forget about or overlook some of the 30 tobaccos Ahlusion sells (two have yet to be released to the public aside from the samples at the store). Oy Vey. My list grows.
